First time ordering- food took around 40 minutes which is a normal waiting time but to then open your food and serve out for it to be cold. Very disappointing, unfortunately all went in the bin.

This is our go-to Chinese for delivery. They have the best vegan options that deliver to us in Sandfields. I usually order by phone and the staff are friendly and efficient and understand requests to make food vegan (eg make fried rice without egg). Very reasonable prices. Delivery is really fast. We've never had problems with our orders.

Ordered through Just Eat. My order was delayed according to the app by 10 minutes, and had a really short ETA compared to many others in the area. Parts of my order tasted really nice and some parts tasted abit weird. Also some of the chickens texture for me was stringy and fatty ... The egg fried rice, chow mein and chicken and cashew nuts were really nice, however the salt and pepper chicken was abit sour tasting and the golden chicken had a crystallised white sugar coating, which is the first time iv seen that. Overall an OK experience and would order from here again, however there is certain things I'd avoid.

Absolutely disgusting had beef curry and rice from there had 2 mouthfuls couldn't eat anymore the beef was horrible I phoned to complain and was told sorry you didn't like our food shocking food .

First time experience ordering food at the Golden Fortune, the food was very nice and thoroughly enjoyed, Customer service was very good. Ordered chicken balls but they forgot to put them in the bag but to be fair they phoned me back as i got in the car to let me know to come and collect them and gave me an extra bag of prawn crackers for the error which was greatly appreciated. Would definitely recommend.

Disappointed is an understatement 😓. Me and my family ordered tonight was so happy as we used to work for this Chinese as drivers and back then the food was to die for 😍 We ordered beef curry, safe to say the beef had no tender too it and very fatty and tasted ALREADY chewed!! Our egg fried rice was just soggy, chips were FREEZING! The sweet and sour sauce was like water 😞 The chow mein was BURNT I couldn’t tell the noodles from the meat 😞 Ordered Mushroom rice, no mushrooms in sight 🤨.. Waited 1 1/2 hours as well! So you can imagine absolutely STARVING! So I had to throw everything in the bin, totally put off the idea of eating! I rang up because I had just wasted my money to have cold food, if I wanted cold food I would of fished in my freezer 👌🏻.. I rang up explained I had a bad experience and put a complaint in, she offered me a discount.. I stated no offence I would never be ordering again! 👎🏻 Asked for a refund, basically told me I needed to fish in my bin for the food and take it there 🥲.. Called me a liar!! And blamed her driver 😂😂 Once a lovely place, forever will NOT be ordering 👊🏻 don’t even waste your minutes unless you want cold, rushed food.

Ordered a meal for the first time tonight for the family and to say I will not be ordering again is a understatement. Beef curry tasted as if beef has all ready been chewed and extremely fatty Chow main was tastless and had a funny smell Sweet sour chicken balls weren't cooked and batter soggy just been dropped in fryer and taken straight out Rice tasted like coking oil Services behind desk was good but soon as complain attitude changed

Absolutely vile my egg foo young turned looking like cat sick full of water! And smelt like it too! Absolutely no help on the phone what so ever! Curry was child sized with practicaly no meat and no egg in the egg fried rice either very dry! Wouldn't recommend at all total waste of money!

Amazing customer service, the lady at the counter was very patient and lovely when placing an order. She fully checked what could be made vegan and the food was wonderful. 5 star place! Well done

Just had roast poke curry and fried rice and to be honest it was outstanding. Golden fortune is by far the best Chinese food around. This is the only Chinese takeaway for me. Keep up the good cooking guys. 5 star food

Good service friendly staff and very helpful and also only place that could take card payment. Now on to the food side, portion size was very good much better from where I live the taste was lovely and not oily at all overall very happy with this Chinese much obliged from two hardworking lorry drivers 👍

Phoned on New Years’s Eve and got through straight away. Food was really good and delivered within the advised time scale. Will definitely use them again.

Refused service due to not ordering Enough absolutely ridiculous moved into area and looking for a Chinese postcode on just eat and these let downs come up ordered and the its cancelled by restaurant only reason is obviously didn't order enough pathetic why offer to deliver to area if your just going to bot both pathetic customer lost also will let everyone i know not to bother....

Never again, soft poppadoms, half cooked chips and a curry sauce with no flavour. So disappointed, won't risk trying anything else if they can't even get chips a d curry sauce right.

Good food large portions Worth trying their chilly crispy beef HK style sweet and sour prawns Hoi sin beef Sweet and sour ribs The rices and noodles are good too This was a birthday treat and what a treat it was. Will be going back and trying other choices on the menu New take away that will challenge old established take aways in Port Talbot For some reason I cannot get the service, food and value ratings to work but all five star We got a free meal of salt and pepper chicken wings added and they were really nice I now have a new favourite takeaway

The best Chinese food around . Their curry dishes and udon dishes are amazing , I like them very much , just like the old Pearl come back . I like the environment of their shop ,too .
