The food was ok it was not the best I don’t think I be ordering for there again

Ordered at just after 5 for delivery at 7, food arrived 30 minutes late. When I rang to query where my order was, the answer I got was: Well we are busy, really no point ordering early if your food is still going to be late. Batter on the chicken balls was soggy, the mini pancake rolls were over cooked. The meal was tasty but nothing like they used to make. A meal for 3 with a portion of special fried rice came to £37.00, which would have been great if it was a good meal. Certainly won't be ordering there again any time soon.

Have had many takeaways from here and have always been nice, but today, it was awful, the black bean sauce tasted like it had been watered down and was bland, and the pork was so chewy couldn't eat it

What’s happened to the lovely food I’ve had for years!!!!? Had the worst meal ever tonight. Tasteless special curry…. gloopy fried rice…. special chow mein without the ‘special’ ingedients, only chicken and pork. After 12 years of loyal custom… never again!

I ordered my food the guy repeated my order though when it was delivered and payed for and I opened it it was all wrong he tryed to tell me it was MY fault then proceeded to say I've done this before ??? When I had a delivery from them every sunday for the last 2years and not had a problem . The guy on the phone refused to give me his name and was totally disrespectful . I normally order online not on the telephone but I WILL NEVer be ordering from them again ..... I'd rather take my business elsewhere and that's going to loose them business as I'm making sure my friends stop ordering aswell with the disrespect I just had from some young guy ...I'm gutted as I liked the food there hy I ordered it every week same as my family and friends do but that will no longer be happening s

Had a delivery take away absolutely awful Both meals although large portions smelled heavily of fish and were like warm Would not recommend or use again Just because portions are large does not mean good quality

Absolutely disgusting and disappointing ordered delivery driver very nice Large portions but Chips stale, both meals chicken cashew and fried rice and beef and cashew fried rice were luke warm and smelled and tasted very fishy spring rolls not nice very powdery as order was placed in advance and paid for it should have all been fresh Would not recommend or use again Just because the portions are large does not say they are good quality

Ordered online at 7.30pm on a Friday night rang happy wok at 8.45 they said he's just wait for the driver to come back and it should be with you soon.phoned back by 9.10 to see where my order is he then said its with the driver should be with you in the next 10 minutes. We are a large family relaxing waiting for our food and still no food paid £39.00 I had to phone.agin as its now 9.25 and our food is no where to be seen to tell me its now just left I told him that you lied to me on the phone earlier then he said he didn't lie. I cancelled the order and demand my money back . I will never use these again I've been a loyal customer for over 25 years but these last few years they have been really disappointing.

Don't bother ordering here they lie to you over the phone make you wait over 2 hours to find out your food is no where near they can't make their minds up its been deliverthen it hasn't then its with them then its not they waiting on the driver. They are a waist of time been a loyal customer for 25 years but the last few years been disappointing either with the food or being cold or just not turning up I will never order from here again. The only plus I can give them when I asked for my money back I had it back within 2 days . Other than that a load of crap .

Ordered food at 730 pm food no show an hour later, called c Happy wok said food is out with driver. One hour later still a no show. Called happy wok, cancel the order because they were either not truthful or we was goings to end up with cold food.

Best Chinese ever . Food is freshly cooked , tasty just lush . I would recommend it . Also I would give it a 5 * if there was a 10* I would give that 😊

This takeaway is the best Chinese in port talbot in my opinion, have had lots of curries from here just tried chicken sate,it was absolutely delicious I would not bother anywhere else at all.

Ordered a takeaway tonight. Last one was poor but had good reviews from my daughter so tried again. I had to repeat my straightforward order several times before they got it right. When the food arrived the chips were almost raw and inedible. Won't bother again.

This was my first order from here and I was really happy to have a great Chinese after a very long and tiring day ... The quality was great and the flavours were amazing. It isn't my go to place however it would definitely be my 2nd choice now! Thankfully not dissapointed, as most takeaways let me down. I highly recommend and cannot wait to order again!

My only disappointment is I haven't tried this establishment before now. Food was stunning.

Lovely staff. The food was absolutely amazing! Hot, fresh and tasty. Fantastic value for money. They do not accept card payments here, it's cash only. I won't order from anywhere else! Highly recommend Happy Wok!

Wow. I had the Peking Ribs, Salt n Chilli King Prawns and the Singapore Vermacelli. I would say that it was Restaurant quality food. All with free prawn crackers and a lovely delivery driver. I have, finally, found a great Chinese in Neath. Thank you.

Just had a really good takeaway meal again, food piping hot and plenty of it. Really good tasty food, excellent phone manner, fast delivery and a polite & friendly delivery driver. All in all a really good choice 👍.

Amazing chicken curry with egg fried rice, love the crispy beef and their sauces! fairly decent portions for a good price! Would definitely be my go to Chinese in the area

The food was full of flavour, Very big portions and the delivery was quick.

Item missing from delivery on arrival to my home and the Chinese takeaway suggested to ring alleatapp to inform them and so far no response. On the whole the rest of food was very average and would not order from here in future.

Just had the worst Chinese food I've ever had. So called Crispy chicken should be re named soggy chicken, had sweet & sour king prawns in batter, the batter was nice and crisp on the outside but totally uncooked inside while the prawns had some sort of thick hard vein down the back. Never seen anything like it before. Special fried rice and Special chow mein a bit short on meat & prawns and the mini spring rolls had a strange taste. They apparently have a new chef: Wherever they found him, they need to send him back as the food has gone seriously downhill the majority ended up in the bin (Best place for it). Been using Happy Wok for years with no problems but while this "Chef" is there, we definitely won't be going back. Take my advice and go elsewhere.

food is lovely. they do go overboard with onions in meals but thats where they save money obviously. what is terrible now is that they tell you online to use a site and that charges you 50p for using it and then charged me £4.50 delivery bloody rediculous as theh have always charged £2.50 when ive rung shop. wont be ordering again just for that which is annoying as we love the food

We had a takeaway from Happy Wok and it was fantastic. The spare ribs were falling off the bones the suace was full of flavour. I would recommend this place to any one if they want quick and friendly service with tasty food and its value for money.

Reasonable prices. Always consistent quality. The mixed meals for one are good value. Probably enough for two if you're not greedy.

Overcharged me for a start. and when they forgot to put chicken in the chicken and mushroom curry I took it back and they topped it up with chicken pieces and curry sauce 👍🏻 poor standards. Not again

Nice tasting food, big portions the food could have been a little warmer and the chips crispier but understandable due to it being Xmas eve. Will try again hopefully hotter next time.

Gutted tonight as ordered here and wrong order arrived, i rang them told them and they said that someone will come and take it back,i explained i had opened it so really it should go in the bin due to Covid around, i did ask the one who collected it to place it in my bin so it dont end up on someone elses table she said she take it back. I do hope that meal was binned. I have been put off takeaways now as none of us know what goes on behind closed doors.

This used to be our chosen takeaway, but the must have changed their sauces or chef as their sauces are really thick and have a different spice flavour from before.

Worst meal we've had in a long time: Food arrived 25 minutes late despite pre-ordering, so barely warm. Crispy pancake roll, half full & soggy. Coating on the so-called crispy chicken soggy & cloying. Batter on chicken balls not cooked all the way through. Rice dry and clumping. Left us both feeling sick & a lot went in the bin. Usually have good food from this shop but tonight's sad offering excelled at being awful, doubt we'll use them again.

Been using this business for a long time the food is awesome the employees are amazing also the delivery drivers are always polite absolutely top guys

If possible I would give a zero star. Over cooked pork balls, way too salty. Cold and the roast duck was greasy and 3/4 of it was bean shoots as a cheap filler. Should of been called salty bean shoots in warm gravy. Worse Chinese I have had in a long time. Avoid like the plague unless you desire cold, badly cooked, salty food. Went in the bin

Fastest way to throw money in the bin. Arrived on time which was it's only redeeming feature. Cold, greasy, salty. Over cooked pork balls and the roast duck was 3/4 bean shoots. Should of been called soggy bean shoots in vaguely duck favoured lukewarm gravy. Now awaiting with dread the effects of the small I ate on my stomach.... Avoid this place at all costs...

Food is absolutely re-volting. The rice is hanging burnt, the ribs there’s no meat on. Don’t order from here the food is absolutely vile.

Really terrible attitude on the phone and food was 20 minutes late than what they told me. It was all cold when it got to the door. Will never order again. Not recommended.

I have a delivery from there either Wednesdays or Thursdays as a midweek treat for me and my family and they now have a new driver. This driver is horrible he has a bad attitude and no manners. They do have nice polite drivers but this one has been quite a few times on these days and is horrible person and I now think he a regular driver for them. I will not be ordering on these days maybe I will have to order on another and hopefully have a different driver. They have very nice food and the ladies on the phone are very polite and well mannered. If the food wasn't so bloody nice and cooked to a high standard I would go elsewhere.

Go here often when staying in Neath. Tried other takeaways but prefer this one. Get set mixed meal good value and good choice. Lovely crisp prawn crackers.

This is another decent chinese take away in the ferry which has a large range of them. Decent menu, delivery service, maybe not the best in my opinion but certainly worth a look

Never been disappointed ordering from here. Always polite and friendly during delivery. Food is beautiful, crispy beef, lemon chicken and chicken chow mein. Always order via JustEat as it's quick and easy to do so. However, they have now increased the minimum order amount as they said they have to pay JustEat 20%. Still, hasn't put us off. Recommended!

Poor food. Didn’t enjoy. Also, they only take cash. So obviously ripping off the taxman. I’m not a fan of that, especially foreign people not paying their way. I won’t return.
