The restaurant was directly across the road from our holiday cottage & we visited twice, both times the good & service were very good so good in fact that we gave a top the first time. However, when we got back we noticed a 10% gratuity on the bill, needless to say we didn't tip the 2nd time, would have given 5 stars if not for this sneaky extra charge so beware

Disappointed ordered twice now. Chowmain drier than the Sand on Saundersfoot beach. The chicken balls about the size of a Jack Russell's testicle. Chips taste like they were reheated in microwave. The pancake roll may as well been just pastry all bean sprouts. Occasional noodle. No meat. And as for the beef curry only saving grace. Little watery and lacking peppers. It really ain't a great chinease.

Good food and a very helpful lady on the counter. They don't do eating in or delivery. Just close enough to Bluestone Resort to be a viable option.

If I could leave a rating of zero I would. After a supposed wait time of 25 minutes our food was 45 mins after we had placed the order and only then did we have our food because we asked where the order was. No apologies whatsoever. The food was greasy ,the prawn crackers had a yellow tinge. The curry sauce full of oil. The hoi sin sauce with the duck tasted of vinegar. The skinny chips were greasy. Fried rice was clumpy. I threw the vegetable spring rolls in the trash. All in all I cannot for the life of me understand how this Chinese is still trading.

Quality of the food was poor. Beef had greenish/gray colour, weird texture and tasted odd. Chicken wasn’t fully cooked. Portions are very small for the price you pay. Spent over £30 and not had much meat in it, mostly it was veg and noodles But prawn crackers were amazingly good 👍 Not doing delivery, so had to pick up our order

Oredered several items for collection. The food was ready at the agreed time. The food itself was pretty good, nothing outstanding, but no complaints in our family!

As with all restaurants it depends what you have and how much you like it. I had sweet & sour chicken with rice and it was very good. Others had BBQ ribs which was ok but could have been warmer. Large meat spring roll was ok. The smaller vegetable spring rolls were very tasty. Overall very good.

We were staying at bluestone and was suppose to be a treat on our last night. No flavour what so ever. Swimming in juice. Fried rice wasn’t even fried, just white with maybe 4 tiny egg chunks. Vegetables were from a tin. (We dont eat meat) Nothing fresh. Lady who served us was nice. However we were warned from local as we browsed at menu in window not to bother. Wish we’d listened.

Staff are very friendly and polite but the food is so poor. It’s worth travelling further afield to Carmarthen for a good Chinese takeaway. Just a shame there isn’t more choice locally.

Brilliant Chinese Takeaway! We stayed at Herons Brook Retreat lodge and ordered a takeaway for collection on Sunday night from the Dragon House. The lady on the phone was extremely helpful and took our order promptly. The food was ready in 15 minutes and was super hot and delicious. Will definitely order again when back this end of Wales. Highly recommended!!!

Ordered a meal for collection. It was ffrshly cooked ansd avilable a couple of minutes after the promised pick-up time. The food perfectly OK, but rather stanbdard fare. Nothing to make this stand out, but if you want a Chinese take-out ... why not?

Very disappointing. Wish I'd read some of the reviews and rating. 3.6 is a very generous score. I had Malaysian beef satay which was supposed to be spicy. Very bland. Beef was tough.

We're on holiday and were looking for a nice takeaway. But this was the pits. We arrived at the correct time and the food was ready for pick-up, but not being kept warm. We had a 10-minute drive home but everything was barely warm when we got there. It mjust have been sitting waiting for us in the shop for some time. I had prawn chow mein; when I took it out of the container I fopund it was swimming in liquid. There seemed to be more bean sprouts than noodles and it seriously lacked flavour. My wife had beef chow mein and the beef was completely inedible. Order there at your peril and don't say you weren't warned.

First time buyer. Told to collect at 8.10pm. Partner left standing for an hour. Food was stone cold! The portions are shockingly small. Not enough to feed 3 of us. Prices are too high. Anything with veg in had more veg then meat. Eg: beef in peaking sauce was 90% onion. There were 5 small pieces of beef in it. Sweet and sour sauce ISN'T sweet and sour. It's lumpy and cold! The only good thing about it was the chips. Never buy here. Don't make the mistake we made.

Had a Chinese takeaway from Dragon House recently (and it was the first takeaway I have had from here), and it was very average. Nothing exciting about the dishes and the sweet and sour veg was swimming in sauce which I didn’t like. The veg chow mien was also very dry which isn’t to my preference.

Don't write many reviews but felt compelled because the chicken chow mein I ordered was soooooo bad. Had a strange taste about it, not like any other Chinese dish I've ever had. The chicken also looked rather odd with each piece looking rather wrinkled. All very weird. Maybe their other dishes are better so gave two stars just in case.

Down Tenby for the week and decided to have a Chinese for our first night so we came across this place on google.Rang for collection and the lady on the phone was polite and friendly. Went to collect the food and the staff were friendly too.The food was lovely and tasty but the only issue I had was the spring rolls were a bit dry, although drizzled with sweet and sour sauce it was better. Overall, I will be going back

A chinese takeaway which advertises and supplies a variety of dishes. However did not find the quality particularly good, although this may be due to a particular way of cooking. Service Ok

Tried to be optimistic after reading poor reviews, but it didn't work. Chips were dry and tasteless. Special foo Yung was equally as bland and tasteless. And to charge almost £9 for the 'dish' is robbery. If you'd never had Chinese before, this food would have put me off for life. VERY disappointing...

Well, this was possibly the worst takeaway we have ever eaten, everyone who ate it complained, the sauces on the food was as thin as water, mixed vegetables were just that, taken from a bag of frozen mixed veg. At home our mixed veg is Chinese mixed veg ie beansprouts, water chestnuts and bamboo shoots, if we had a delve around we found about 6 water chestnuts. The duck was small chunks stewed and flavour was completely lost. Sweet and sour sauce was really thin, we are used to it being sticky and much thicker. Finally the prawn crackers should be entitled crackers as there was no flavour to them at all. My husband says: if I'd have wanted mixed British veg id have gone to Asda, this was my worst ever takeaway and was tasteless rubbish. To top it all off, this takeaway cost more than we'd normally pay at home. Ripped off and disappointed. Save your money and go for a kebab instead.

Had a take away from here. The food was promptly cooked, piping hot and very tasty indeed. It did not taste like it was full of MSG that you get from some take aways. We had crisp beef, beef in black bean sauce, special fried rice (which was packed with meat) and prawn crackers. Defiantly be going back

Not very friendly when ordering, told wouldn't be long but had to wait 45 mins for order. The bbq sauce had zero taste and was like water, chicken balls were hit and miss some soggy and some burnt. Prawn crackers were nice. Second time this has happened, won't be going again.

After reading the reviews we were a little apprehensive about ordering. However we are so pleased we did. Enjoyed the food. Ordering was so easy with a very patient chap taking the order.( me having trouble finding my purse!!) Service pleasing and quick delivery so have no qualms about recommending Portfield Chinese Takeaway. Enjoyed the chicken chow mein and sweet & sour chicken with boiled rice. 10/10

Although we were apprehensive about ordering because the reviews weren’t great and we have high Chinese standards, we were very pleased with our takeaway. It was pretty much a standard one, not incredible but met expectations and was tasty. We spent about £70 on the usual chow mein, sweet and sour chicken, duck pancakes etc. All really nice with big chunks of meat, piping hot and delivery exactly on time! We didn’t get the usual free prawn crackers but did get a free bag of spring rolls and samosas which was a nice surprise.
