Amazing food! Was actually recommended to go to the Chinese restaurant just down the road to this one, however that was shut when we went so we opted for this. It was the best decision ever! Food was 10/10, price is good, the young boy provided good customer service. This made out trip to wales/snowdon worth it!

Closed until 3rd of August but doesn’t say that online and you’re still taking peoples money for orders that obviously won’t happen. Bit of a scam really, shame as enjoy food but this is terrible way to behave

Tonight 23/06/2024 me and my partner who are food critics, we ordered a Beef chow mein and chicken ball's with curry sauce and we rate this 10/10 👌 😋 delicious, complements to the Chef well done... Top notch ❤️

Had pork and mushrooms pork was red raw mushrooms hard as nails chicken balls well if you can call that batter chow mein well no taste rice bland dry just aswell put £ 50 in the bin ended up having beans and toast NEVER GO THERE AGAIN

went here with cai owen allan saw a handsome young man who handed me my food the smell was delicious and i got slightly aroused because of it. the beef and black bean sauce was amazing and the beef was melting within my mouth overall this well deservant of a 5 star review.

fried rice dont think it even saw the wok ,more like boiled rice with very little egg or chicken,and no flavour. also got home and no curry sauce,they had put in s&sour sauce.will not be going here again for a long time

The food is generally good though sometimes heat outweighs flavour but anyone can have an off night and we do keep going back. Service is always great and it's not really fair to give marks for atmosphere as it's a space to wait for your takeaway; it's clean, warm and dry if that helps.

Stopped as on way home after long drive. Wish I hadn't!! Rice: so pale, and tasteless. Curry: no curry flavour at all and sauce oily Pancake rolls: great size and filling, but no flavour. This place does not deserve to be called a Chinese takeaway. Where's their pride and passion?

Absolutely Vile! Ordered Veg Chow Mein And Got Some Mixed Meat Chow Mein, MEat IS Disgusting, Noodles Were Spicy Which They Shouldn't Have Been. Chick4n Balls Were Greasy & Stale And The Singapore Noodles Were Bland And Tasteless. NEVER Going Here Again!! No Use On The Phone, Expect Me To Pay A Taxi Fare For Them To Rectify Their Mistake! Will Be Going In Tomorrow To Get A Refund And Contacting Environmental Health As I Reckon They Are Unhygienic.

Absolutely disgusting. Got the wife chicken balls. Burnt and fatty. Everything was just horrible. Spend another 10 mins and go to llanybydder. This place is totally gone down hill. Never again!!!!

Went to the restaurant but when we went in, no one seemed interested in us being there. Sat down and we were completely ignored for a good while. All in all we were made to feel like we were unwelcome and an imposition so we upped and left

Ordered takeaway over phone and food was ready exactly when they told us it would be in 25mins, all neatly packed into a box and piping hot. Food was tasty and good quality - the quarter of aromatic duck was a generous portion and it was delicious with the pancakes and hoisin sauce. We also enjoyed the spring rolls, sesame toasts, prawn crackers, crispy chili beef and chicken balls with sweet & sour sauce. The tofu with black bean sauce was particularly good. Plain boiled rice and egg-fried rice both good too. Staff serving were friendly and helpful and the premises were clean. Will definitely order takeaways from this restaurant again.

Full sized, tasty portions, hand gel at entrance and on counter, masks requested, but unmasked are served. Currently groaning with a full stomach!

Been here twice now and the chow mein that we had were wonderful and taste so good. Been looking for crab and sweet corn soup at a Chinese for ages and they did a lovely one. Their Chinese chicken curry was a bit questionable as the colour (neon green/yellow) was off putting and stains bad but tasted okay. Hoping to try something new next time we order

Disgusting takeaway, food was inedible, even my dog turned her nose up to it! We ate a few mouth fulls as were starving, in the morning felt quite ill, luckily we only ate a small amount and threw the rest away! Shame as years ago it was a really nice takeaway. Avoid at all costs

If i could put a 0/5 i would Been a loyal customer for 30 years, never going to return again. Food was over cooked and cremated.egg fried rice was shy of the fry pan, basically boiled rice with scrambled egg. Meat spring rolls was just bean sprouts, and greasy. Crispy seaweed was cremated and stank the kitchen out. A disaapointing covid birthday meal.

Great Chinese, food was delicious and was made quick. Lost a star as they nearly messed up the order.

Rude staff very slow service food so greasy would rather go hungry actually witnessed a customer struggling to get 1 free bag of prawn crackers after just spending £ 65 wanted more money!!!!!!. 2 words wide birth.

Good for take-away: great choice, good quality Chinese food. There is also a restaurant - or rather a seating area - but it is very basic and not attractive, in my opinion.

I am allergic to MSG, this beaut of a place & the lovely young girl on the counter taking the orders bent over backwards to source my meal, it was gorgeous food too.

The girl who took my order was rude and the little boy who (eventually!) gave me my food had no idea what he was doing. The half crispy duck was merely a pot of minced (too fine to be called shredded) meat with little taste, served with a half of a very small pot of hoisin sauce. Very expensive too. To be avoided.

Always had lovely food from Canton Kitchen, The staff are friendly and helpful. Sometimes there is a long wait but that is because it's so busy

Bought a takeaway - lemon chicken and rice. The cartons and food smelt of urine so had to throw away. Phoned restaurant to complain and asked manager to ring me back, rang a left a message the evening asking to ring back. That was 2 days ago and they haven't bothered phoning back. Rude people and disgusting food.

Never had a bad meal from canton kitchen. Polite and friendly staff. Amazing food, good variety.great restaurant to eat in.

Food was cold, noodles 'off' taste, chips cold,pancake roll 'warm' , main 'warm' offered free noodles and pancake roll on return. Asked for full refund which was refused and then agreed if food returned, attitude poor and manager went through each item in waste bag arguing it was 'hot'.Finally got refund . Would never visit here again, tasteless cold food and very poor service and a one star review is too many!

Had take away here lots of times. Love the vegetarian variety. Always enjoy the food. It's well cooked and tastes great. We tend to go early because it gets busy

The sweet and sour chicken balls were virtually inedible. Solid on the outside and batter an inch thick. Same with sweet and sour king prawns (tiny king prawns too). A portion of king prawn fried rice is over £5 and had 4 prawns in it. Chips lukewarm. Will never go back and I would advise others never to go this takeaway.

Disappointed is how I would describe this visit. The portions were poor. My noodle was swimming in the water and have no taste. The counter was rude to customer. Try somewhere else avoiding waste money.

La peor comida para llevar china que he visto. Personal grosero, terrible servicio en todo, intentaron cobrarnos dos veces. En cuanto a la comida simplemente el peor que he probado. Grasienta, recocido de arroz y pasta preparadas crudas con salsa dulce y agria que sabía a vinagre. En el vermicelli las verduras estaban cortadas en trozos enormes y los fideos y carne tanto probado gomosos. Las fichas no eran adecuadas o chips de "fish and chips" este lugar es el peor. Evitar a toda costa.

Pobre, el servicio es un auténtico basura, capacidad básica en inglés y el servidor es una señora mayor china que es bastante desagradable.

Puede comer en el restaurante la próxima vez que visite. Pedí mi habitual que uso como referencia cuando pedir comida china. Mi petición no estaba en el menú, pero estaban más que dispuestos a acoger con mi petición. La comida era deliciosa y bien caliente. 10/10. Volveré.

Nos detuvimos aquí para una llevar en mi camino a casa del trabajo y pedí un arroz frito de gambas de king. Estaba delicioso - jugosos gambas grandes en arroz frito esponjoso. Tenía un inesperado giro como el arroz estaba un poco picantes pero lo hizo aún más sabroso! Recibimos una buena porción tamaño servido en una bandeja de metal que mi comida caliente hasta que fue la casa. El personal era amable y servicial, y el servicio muy eficiente. Ya estoy deseando que llegue mi próxima visita.

Such a misunderstood Chinese restaurant all I heard was bad things but thought we would give it a go anyway and we wasn't disappointed it was stunning by far the best Chinese food in had in ages the beef in garlic sauce was the highlight along with the bbq spare ribs most definitely will be returning

Canton Kitchen is very hit or miss sometimes food can be lovely & sometimes the food can be terrible, I don't know whether it is down to different chefs? It is good value when the food is good. All of the staff are always very nice & friendly.

Loved the crispy peking duck, and I really loved that they could make one of my dishes a bit hotter than normal. Great service, lovely people.

have eaten takeaways from here for years never disappointed with quality and portion sizes. have also eaten in restaurant but not lately.

this place was excellent when it first reopened. hadn't been there for a while and I wont go back. Very expensive and very bland, totally tasteless. so disappointed.

Food far nicer than Ling di Long as far as takeaway concerned, can't comment on restaurant as haven't tried it. Would recommend.

Steer clear of this place it is dirty! the lady serving was using a dirty cloth to wipe the tables at the same time as coughing into the cloth, it was disgusting and the food is **** cant say no more then that just look at the carpet leading to the kitchen!

Had takeaway from here twice in the last month and I have to say it was the best chinese we've had for years. Beats the other local ones hands down. Staff are friendly and waiting times are short. In past years the food has been poor but recently they have improved massively. The food is fresh, crispy and full of flavour. Chicken is fresh and not dry and tough, pancake rolls are crispy, rice falls out the container instead of prising out an overcooked lump, prawn crackers taste of prawn, and sweet and sour sauce isn't one bright red jelly mess. Both times they've got our orders right which other Chineses seem to find impossible!. We have takeaways regularly and will now choose Canton Kitchen above the rest. They no longer deserve the poor reviews they've had in the past.

Had a take away tonight as thought would give them a try again as not had food from there in ages. I now remember why we don't go there anymore! Ordered a quarter duck in the order which was not fit for consumption, even for a dog. It was as if it had been cooked about 4 times and was really tough. The meat would not come off the bone. Phoned the restaurant who said they would cook it better next time and put down the phone. We took the meat back and did get a refund but won't be back there. Will stick to Ling Di Long from now on.

Canton Kitchen used to be a take away but about 2 years ago they added a restaurant. We went for a birthday meal, not having been there before because a friend mentioned that their take-aways taste nice. The place was completely empty on a Bank Holiday Monday evening. The decor is as un-Chinese as you can possibly imagine. We were seated towards the back near the toilets although there were no other guests and there were plenty of free tables in the front near the window. The starter (spring rolls) was ok. As a main meal I ordered duck in black bean sauce, my partner ordered chicken chow mein.Given the price of the duck I had assumed rice was included - it wasn't. The duck itself was ok, although there was a distinct lack of black beans in the sauce, which tasted awfully artificial and gave me heartburn all night.The chicken chow mein came as a real shock. The plate arrived and it looked like something I would not offer my dog. There was a load of chow mein noodles with some sauce splashed on, one sliced mushroom, a couple of bean sprouts and a few slices of reconstituted chicken. It tasted awful.Had to wash down the food with plenty of beer to make it bearable.The lady responsible for the service was friendly, but no knives were on offer and she was not particularly professional in appearance and behaviour.All in all one to avoid.
