The best restaurants serving Chinese food in South West Scotland

First time visiting for my nieces birthday celebration and wow!! The his is a real find and we are all completely blog n away by everything in this beautiful place. The decor the welcome, the staff are all outstanding. The important thing was the food is utterly incredible and never had such amazing food in a long time. For 4 of us, 3 courses, 3 rinks each we still had a bill under £100!! Its got to be the best food and clvalue I've had anywhere. Many thanks to the amazing staff and whoever came up with the idea for this place is a genius…..10/10

Mountain spice is absolutely amazing that's twice we've been and it's the best Indian food ,wouldn't go anywhere else now excellent service as well

Absolutely worst lazy-cooked Chinese food I’ve ever tasted. Sweet and sour sauce was the consistency of water and tasteless, salt and chilli chips just like oven chips with a few RAW onions and peppers thrown in. Rice and noodles totally bland. Icing on the cake is that’s it’s a ‘cash only’ joint. Will not be back and if it were possible I’d request a refund.

Son ordered chips and curry sauce, can of coke and chicken fried rice. Female repeated the order and took payment. Upon returning home no chicken fried rice, chips in curry sauce had rice added, this was not ordered. Called premises, Female staff member extremely rude. I understand English is not her first language but she came across as being unable to "understand ". Got absolutely nowhere, food in bin and no chance of refund for their inability to get order correct. Stay well clear

I ordered the sal N pepper munchie box!! By far the best munchie box I’ve ever had! Great flavour very generous portions and great value for money!! Best deal in Kilwinning and I’ve tried all the Chinese takeaways!! I will be ordering again and again! Xx

They've changed the satay sauce recipe by adding curry to it. It now basically tastes like a run of the mill curry sauce to the point you couldn't tell the difference between chicken satay and chicken curry. Shame really as it's one of the better takeaways in Carluke but I'll need to look elsewhere now as I don't like the taste of their new satay dishes.

Full of onion and green pepper and very little meet. All 3 were the same. Total rip off. Parking is also hard. There is simply nothing we liked about this place

Great food will not be disappointed

Ordered from 163 last night for the 1st time due to our regular Chinese takeaway being closed, it did come recommended, glad we chose here. Order was phoned in and taken in a very professional manner. Entire order was read back to ensure accuracy. All dishes ordered (Crispy Chilli Chicken, Chicken Balls, Honey Chicken, Mongolian Lamb, Jungle Curry) were excellent + complimentary spring rolls. Chilli ratings on the menu were spot on for the Lamb and Curry. Did take over 1hr for delivery and had to phone back to check where order was, but worth the wait. 5 Stars, might be our new go to!

We used to be regulars here but after having had several horrible meals from yoohoo last year, we haven't been for a while, but we ordered a meal recently to try it again and it was so delicious. Especially the new chicken curry spring rolls. From our experience, the food is better during the week when it's less busy and horrible at the weekends?....

Well decided to treat yourself to Jade palace on weds and managed to arrive not long after it opened for lunch as at this point it was not busy. We were seated straight away and within mins they came and took our drinks order and told us to help our-self to food. The Noodle soup was lovely and went down a treat. The Food portions were fresh and the smell of salt n chilli chips were making me even hungry. Good range on offer for eating. They have removed chicken Balls and replaced them with salt n chili hash browns which were really good. Even the deserts and ice cream were nice and filling and were presentable The bathroom was very clean and tidy. Price was Per person was £15.90 - Pint Juice £3.50 - Diluting Juice £1.80 After a few plates we were stuffed. and well worth what we paid for.

Originally my husband and I ordered from the Richmond Chinese on Stroud Road, however, due to poor service we tried Sizzling Wok via a neighbours recommendation. It's the best Chinese Takeaway I've ever triea. Delicious, Chinese food, not too expensive and given its takeaway we order on a Saturday evening - the waiting time of 20-40 minutes is fabulous. We wouldn't go anywhere else now in East Kilbride for Chinese takeaway.

Since change of chef it’s terrible. From being my regular to becoming the worst Chinese in Ayrshire is no exaggeration. That’s not curry sauce!! Their chicken is so dry and stringy. Their soup is like dishwater. Avoid at all costs.

We waited over half an hour for our food. If we had known this we would have gone elsewhere. When the food arrived it was not great. The staff were friendly but we wouldn’t eat here again
