This place gets a mixed reputation but I have used it for years and have had no problem with the food, it’s fresh made, affordable and good customer service

Food always hot and tasty ... Delivery is quick and unlike others in the town they haven't got greedy pricewise... Like for like 3 meals with the Chinese up the Woodwynd I was £5 cheaper with delivery

Bad food do yourself a favour order from somewhere else

First time using this place & very impressed. Delivery well within the hour. Food: Special Szechuan & fried rice was fantastic, flavoursome & generous & the little complimentary bag of prawn crackers was an unexpected extra. Thanks & I will be back regularly from now on. 👍

Great value for money was getting a carry out for my mum and and she said it was delicious. Staff very polite and friendly. Will definitely return.

Quality & Quantity, food's great

So dissapointing! My breast of chicken curry was full of oil, my prawn crackers were chewy, the salt and chilli chips come in a batter and the vast majority were stuck together in 3's. Chicken chow mein was dry, overcooked 'chicken'. Delivery time was good and it was reasonably priced but the quality of food was awful, need a complete overhall to compete with the likes of other chinese takeaways in the area.

worst Chinese ave ever had in ma life honestly barking! The texture of the fried rice with curry was frightening and the chips just as bad, should not be aloud to sell food

ordered from there tonight,and the chicken tasted like a tramps feet, the crackers were like sadam hussein's toe nail clippings.am not sure if they send curry sauce or diarrhoea but the rice was delicious. 10 out of 10 for that lovely rice.

The management are pig ignorant as are the staff, the kitchens are filthy as are the cooks etc , they dump oil at bk off premises and steel their water supply from flat upstairs depriving a family with two small children of running water for twelve hrs a day and even refuse to turn there taps off for five mins to allow repairs to heating therefore leaving the family above them with no water or heating even though the takeaway has been ordered by Scottish water to get there own metered water supply.

Absolutely awful, used a few times and pretty good but Saturday 22nd Dec we ordered chicken curry and ended up with severe food poisoning. It nearly ruined our entire Christmas my 3 and 6 year old daughters were vomiting all night as well as the adults it was seriously dangerous. Should not be allowed to sell food.

Regardless of what you order (within reason), they always use the same generic red sickly sweet sauce. Despite the dishes being described differently. Sweet and sour, kung po, Mandarin, Peking... All the same thing! Obviously these should all be very different. Orders are also, often incorrect. As another reviewer said, they ordered chicken curry and went home with chicken balls. Similar mistakes have been made with me. It comes from a language barrier between the desk staff and the cooks... Chinese whispers. To boot the hygiene practices aren't the best. Desk staff handling food after money handling with nowhere to wash hands (or they just don't bother). They shouldn't be anywhere near the food preparation. Unfortunately hygiene and quality is rarely at the top of a backstreet takeaways priorities, but this takes the fortune cookie. Rice paper in dreghorn is better if you can be bothered to make the trip. My advice.... Save yourself 20 quid and have a slice of toast.

One of the best Chinese restaurants in north Ayrshire. They never disappoint. Food is fantastic, decent sized portions and good value. Delivery is usually pretty quick as well. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

We used this Chinese weekly. But recently changed as its not as good. Chips dry. Prawn crackers soggy!! But will try again as before it was great.
