Was so excited chicken rice soup was on the menu, however with bread I didn't need ended up costing £5. Decided to go for the sandwich soup combo instead worked out a little less than £7.50 but at least got protein in my sandwich. The place is clean and you queue to get a table then you queue at a counter to place an order. I joined the table queue at 2.10 . at 3.40 from my table after having ordered I said I only had 15 min to eat the meal. 8 minutes later it came which meant I had seven minutes - so a long wait. In addition sadly the soup was tasteless , no taste of chicken whatsoever and my prawn marie rose sandwich needed twice the amount of filling to avoid throwing half the bread away

Second time I've been here, the gifts etc are nice however the food is not great. I got a few scones which on further inspection were clearly frozen and defrosted. They instantly fell apart on trying to put butter on them and we were left with a pile of dry crumble. Two coffee's and two scones for a tenner. Last money I will spend here.

Met by the wonderful Melissa who took our trace and contact details. She showed us to our table and provided menus. We had the amazing afternoon tea. Quality of food and presentation was superb. The restaurant is very anti covid with screens and arrows very evident. All staff are marked up. Pay it a visit after lock down and you will not be disappointed. Will be back for sure.

Visited the shop & cafe for 1st time since before lockdown. Oneway system in operation for entry & exit in cafe as well. All screens in place in cafe. Coffee & scone just as good as before , although menu is slightly limited in comparison to before lockdown. Plenty of breakfast stuff though & cakes. Go on try it you won't be disappointed.

I got bad service the last time I paid a visit to the cafe. However today I gave it another go. My roll on sausage was fine however I asked for a piece of apple tart for my wife and noticed that one half of the outer crust was burnt. I ask for a piece that wasn't burnt. Guess what arrived!!!!! yes you are right a burnt bit. I ask for it to be changed and was told the burnt bit was the best bit. They did change it but who ever heard of serving cold apple tart with hot custard. Sorry but don't think I will be back.

On the face of it Cumnock does not have a lot to offer. There are a few shops the biggest being ot the south side of the town ( the factory outlet) Its got a swimming pool and gym ( visions) a few cafes and many take away shops. Theres also a museum ( The Baird) Theres an active history group who have created a guided walk ( leaflets available) Its in walking distance of Dumfries Estate, driving distance to Auchinleck Estate and has easy access to the countryside. The River Ayr walk passes through. There are a couple of hotels in the centre and a few pubs if you want to stay.

We visited the Cafe in the Factory Outlet Cumnock at the end of September for a late lunch whilst on business in Cumnock. The food was very average in quality, as was the overall service. Prices are not of particularly good value for the meal experience.

This was my first visit to the Factory Shop: I was aware there was a restaurant but I was pleasantly surprised at the service we received and the range and quality of food.on offer. There is no doubt in my mind that I will return sometime in the near future.

We had ordered afternoon tea for our customers on the mini bus and sat at the bottom of the cafe with the tables pushed together. Our tables had reserved signs on them. Quick service by the ladies serving. One of the best value for money afternoon teas I have had.with Plenty tea and coffee. Nothing was any bother for the staff. Our customers went home with polystyrene boxes full of cake and traybakes. Excellent service from the catering staff especially the manager. Third time we have visited would recommend. Plenty of space for wheelchairs and lots of nice clothes, shoes accessories etc

This factory shop is a good shopping destination, with a wide variety of clothes fancy goods and lots of other nice things. The Restaurant looked promising too. However, we were very disappointed with the dans which lunch on our first visit. We had either Coronation chicken/chicken Tikka ( hard to know which) sandwiches. The filling was not proper chicken and was , I guess, reconstituted bits, the MDF equivalent of wood. It was spongy and tasteless and the curried mayo added a slimy feel. I was given a glass which was noticeably dinner and it three attempts to get one which looked as if it had been in the dishwasher. Despite that we returned a week later to try again. This time we had a cheese and onion toastie. How could one ruin that? Someone did. The cheese might well have been plastic, absolutely tasteless and the white onion was equally tasteless, half cooked and not chopped finely enough. Perhaps the main courses are better as they are busy. However, I note from another reviewer that the cheese toastie was a problem. We do want to return, so please rethink your sand which selection which is easy, not rocket science

What a nice way to spend a few hours to get out of the rain. Huge sales floor with a very comprehensive array of designer wares nicely displayed. Lots of opportunity for a leisurely browse, I particularly liked the bed linen section with huge reductions on the recommended retail price. The in store cafe was very clean. Home cooked food with plenty of choices and nicely presented at reasonable prices too. The cakes and afternoon tea looked extremely inviting. Very friendly and efficient staff. This outlet has good disabled access, parking, level throughout and well maintained accessible toilets.

I've been a couple of times and the food is average. I had a cheese & onion toastie but the onion was still raw and had that nippy taste. There must have been a whole white onion in it. The salad leaves were a bit brown too. Cakes are nice, but I thought it was a bit expensive for what we had. The outlet itself is good for older people (age 55+) due to the kind of clothes they sell. Parking is plentiful and free and you can spend a couple of hours there.

This place is large and spacious with a lot of selection of shoes and clothes. It is always busy especially at weekends with bus visits a regular thing. They also have a busy cafe but I have never eaten it but my wife has and says it is ok,It was a favourite haunt for my large mother in law and it is very popular with the locals as well,

Popped in for a look around the the outlets and my hubby and I decided to have a light lunch in the cafe. I ordered a cheese and tomatoe toasty he had a baked potato with chicken and sweet corn. The toasty sounds plain but it was lovely and was served with a side salad with dressing, some coal slaw and crisps. It was tasty. The baked potato was HUGE with a HUGE filling , salad and dressing and some crisps. Well worth the money and I would recommend to friends and family. There was a selection of scones and cakes and we observed a couple having an afternoon tea. Staff were friendly and helpful.

No pretensions, Fresh food well cooked. Don't expect cordon-bleu. You get what the menu says and it is served with warmth and friendliness by efficient well-trained staff. It's a good place to stop and shop and have a bite to eat.

We were in the area so popped into the factory outlet to see what it had to offer. There is a cafe but we didn’t go in. There is a huge choice of items to buy. Clothes, books, gifts, toys etc... I think the majority of the clothing is more suited to the older generation though.

Decided on afternoon tea for two in the cafe. It was DELICIOUS. Two sandwiches , two cream scones and two cakes with tea or coffee all for £11.95. Don't know how they manage it for the price. Well done . We'll be back sooner rather than later.

Had heard about the factory outlet and wanted to see what it was all about, drove from North Ayrshire on a cloudy day but still some great views along the way, easy enough to find and plenty of car parking with disabled parking bays near the entrance door. The outlet and cafe are all on one level so easy access for those with walking difficulties or using a wheelchair. Plenty of various goods, from cards (birthday and such like) to pots and pans, from shoes to crockery also some designer goods. Have to say there was an odd sign that seemed to imply that all cards were £1 or three for £2, the sign was on top of each rack however this is not the case so be careful. There are toilets in the facility which were nice and clean and looked after. Some very good prices in the sale but others were a little dearer. The cafe has an outlook over the countryside and is quite big suggesting that a lot of folk go for the food. It suggests you go find a table then go back to order, would be difficult if it were busy as your table could be taken by the time you got there, anyway, it wasn't busy when we went and got the table number for our order, sit back and wait for your food/drink - wasn't too much of a wait and nice cakes, nice soup and very nice coffee. Lots to choose from in the outlet and a good choice in the cafe, comfortable and clean. Its the kind of place when you are after a wedding outfit - ladies anyway. Will be back.

this is a place where you can go and do shopping at your leisure it is especially good for men for they can go and sit and have a nice cuppa and read the papers while the wife can browse through all the womens clothes and you don't have to follow her there is also a men's department where you can go and have a browse not as big as the ladies but once seen you can retire to a soft seat and read once your wife has finished and you have paid for everything you can have a nice meal the staff are very friendly in the shop and in the restaurant once you are fed you can retire to the car refreshed knowing that you didn't need to trail around the woman's underwear or skirts dresses and everything else that the women like to paruse
