tasty with an excellent selection and efficient staff went Easter Monday lunchtime and was busy, so much so some things ran out and dishes that are normally constantly lifted could be left up to 20 minutes...as was messaging on the floor

A wee visit for dinner with my partner & kids. Great food, service & great value.

It challenges even the big eaters !! I personally had two ( decent sized ) starters, then, a very large ( OK, I was a bit of a pig 😳) main course …. followed by my sweet, and I must confess ….. just a wee bit of ice cream 👀 !!! I keep forgetting to take a wheelbarrow , or a trolley 🛒 to assist me back to the car 🤭, obviously you eat far toooo much, but it’s so good, and a very wide selection to go through. What ? Pictures !! Absolutely not, to busy eating 📸🥗

This was our first visit to Beijing banquet and we were quite impressed by the selections of starters and mains on offer but the desserts were very poor, they had a chocolate fountain with only marshmallows on offer, not a strawberry/banana/etc in sight, a very limited choice of ice cream, a weird horrible chocolate crispy thing and unflavoured popcorn and cakes that I've never heard of? Jelly cubes that tastied like they hadn't even set the jelly, it was like they just cut it out straight from the packet. Most of the mains were good but the chips and satay chicken were not cooked properly, it was very pink in the middle, so be wary! It's good but could be so much better! Edit- visited for the second time recently and things were just the same, the starters and mains were good but the desserts were not good, I didn't eat any!

Travelled from Dumfries on a recommendation, glad I did.

To be honest I absolutely love the food fresh hot and a fantastic selection. The deserts was amazing ice cream 🍦 lots of flavours cakes marshmallow with chocolate fountain will certainly be back well worth the money 💰

A great range of dishes, wide variety of choices to suit basic tastes or people who are a bit more adventurous. Friendly staff, quick at cleaning up any used dishes etc. Well worth a visit

Great place if you are looking to eat all you want and try a wide selection of food. My only concern was children helping themselves to food without adult supervision and hand no hand sanitising stations at a buffet is asking for trouble.

Great as always good fresh food and a good selection of Chinese and normal kid kinds of food for younger ones or picky eaters

Just what we needed in the middle of a local power cut. The food was excellent and kept well stocked and fresh. Sweets were a bit odd but then that's universal for this kind of place. Recommended

I've been a few times over past 3 years. With family and friends. Food was beautifully present. Fabulous tasting. Drinks plentiful. Atmosphere wonderful. Staff very helpful and with a smile.🤗☺️ Very reasonably priced too.

Spotlessly clean. Food really good with a good selection. Been here several times and standards very good every time. Would highly recommend this place.

I had a lovely meal when there but about 4 hours later I was hit with food poisoning. I was so ill. I ate prawns which I never do and I'm sure that this is the culprit. I won't be back due to this.

Great place to let young children try different foods and cultures

So we have been here a few times now and is normally very nice however today we went and the people in the table next to us were absolutely stinking however we said to the staff and they put us to another table but unfortunately it was all ready to late and we were all put off our food so it was a complete waste of £70 and it really put a bit of a downer on our daughters birthday dinner as this was her favourite restaurant to go out to and won’t be back now as they could see we had been put off our food and still charged us full price even though we had not ate anything apart from a plate of ice cream

Always a pleasure to eat here only draw back is that sometimes the food is not always warm enough. Chicken and sweet corn soup is the best ever,king prawn with ginger and spring onions amazing. Still haven't tried everything yet but I will endeavor to try 😂

Having never been before,I wasn't quite sure what to expect. It was absolutely delicious. The choice of food was incredible,especially the honey chilli chicken! You also get unlimited juice if required. That was my own personal downfall,as the pepsi was flat. It was quickly dealt with by the fantastic staff. Have recommended it to friends and will definitely be back.

Lady was cleaning with dirty cloth then lifting handle of food containers with same cloth bits food falling in using it to lift trays of food ect walk out told the lassies at desk food contaminated withe her ok I’ll give you it cheap ate nothing not the point cheap got it free as we ate nothing it’s went down hill

Just visited the Benjing Banquet in Kilmarnock and whilst standing in the queue for food a woman started screaming and when I looked down there was a large rat running through the dinning area don't think I'll be back as if there is one there will.be more lurking around which now questions there hygiene beyond there lovely surroundings

Enjoyed some good food in a friendly atmosphere

Came here yesterday with my partner as we love to visit buffets together. From the moment we walked in the atmosphere was amazing. Wasn’t too expensive either. The music playing was great, partner loved all the songs that came on. Our waitress was super friendly! The food was amazing! All tasted good and fresh! I loved the soy sauce which tasted homemade, still thinking about it now! The duck was probably my favourite, never tried such good duck in my life! There wasn’t one dish that we didn’t love here. And the desserts were beautiful! Would definitely come back here super tasty food!

Now one of my favourite places to eat. Fantastic value for money and the food was wonderful. Don't judge it until you have been 🙂

Most people come into buffet restaurants to reward themselves with food and get the most out of their money. I think this facility achieved that. The website clearly explained the difference in menu (i.e., lunch v.s. dinner) and hence, the difference in price. I think the salmon is well worth the price of choosing dinner over lunch. Let's talk about the food now. They offer both Western and Asian category, from appetizers to mains, and of course, desserts. I had high expectations with Asian category, as the name of the resto suggests. I think if one is offering dumplings and sushi, appropriate sauce and dipping bowls should be provided. It's completely understandable, though, that sushi quality is not the same standard as the authentic ones due to scarce raw ingredients. One of the highlights, in my experience, is the roast duck. And again, the provision of appropriate dipping sauce for this would be perfect! Overall, I still think that this place is brilliant, especially the choice of location. You can enjoy a movie at the nearby Odeon while trying to digest all that food. They are (as far as I know) the only resto offerring buffet in Kilmarnock. They offer a wide variety of food that you can choose from. The ambience is homey, and the seats are just comfortable. The toilet facilities, I must emphasize, are clean and even air-conditioned. I think this is very important for a buffet restaurant.

I wasn't impressed with the quality and freshness of the food, and that was us turning up at the start of their scheduled dinner time. The cutlery also doesn't appear to get cleaned properly. A positive was that your used plates are moved quickly.

Been there for the first time ever and it was better than expected. I'm not a big fan of Chinese food, I also don't eat meat (except fish), and still the selection was so big, I'll definitely have to come back to try some more. I'm a simple, boring person who loves potatoes and macaroni cheese, therefore most of my plate is just that 😂 well, and I had lots of sweeties and fruit which was great. Much different from any restaurant I've been to 🤗 helpful staff.

I usually love this place but my last visit the food wasn't great, some of it was over cooked and chewy, took my friend for the 1st time she wasn't impressed either.

Been here numerous times over the years and came today for lunch and as always the food is delicious plenty for everyone to chose from and it’s good to see the same amount at lunchtime as it is at dinner time! Lunchtime is cheaper so definitely worth it and you’re getting a wee bargain. Only criticism is the staff pack everyone in one corner next to the loos and I was sat beside a screaming baby the full time which was extremely annoying at times! I came out for peace and quiet with my wife and managed to get some free time away from our kids last thing I want is to listen to others. I think couples should be seated differently from families so it can be a more enjoyable experience all round.

Decent food good prices, it's a buffet so you help yourself to food. Drinks can be expensive but you can refill softdrinks for £5

I advise anyone to not eat for 2 days to be able to experience the biggest banquet buffet selection I've ever seen. My only complaint was that I had popcorn at the cinema beforehand and it probably stopped me having any of the desserts. More fool me. Great friendly staff too. Thoroughly recommend, especially if you're really really hungry!😋🙂👍

Great buffet place, lot's to choose from, if only they had one nearer me. I don't get to go as often as I'd like as it's in Kilmarnock.

Your average buffet, nothing it's great but it's standard food for a decent price, don't expect fine dining, but good for a bite to eat while out shopping/at the cinema

Decent buffet and at a decent price

Liked the place until my recent visit where children behind us were very annoying , running up and down, noisy and their parents weren't giving 2 F%$£s, neither were staff, wont be rushing back, also price on website is different from price charged. Expensive for a buffet Chinese, 3 people , 3 refillable drinks and buffet £75 not cheap.

Been going here at least twice a month since it opened and usually love it. Unfortunately they have replaced the carbonara wae mashed tatties 🫤 in the last month or so, carbonara was awesome, but the fact we went tonight, paying a fiver a head more than our usual Sunday and there was no bloody coleslaw!?!? Folk say you don't go to a Chinese for salad stuff but the coleslaw was ace. Gutted, why take the best things aff the menu?

Visited here a few times, food is always first class and kept to a high standard, surrounding is high spec but can be very noisy, not for intimate dinners. Staff are very attentive. I obviously have mobility issues however, almost invariably have to ask for a more appropriate table. It's still a fun experience!

Quite disappointed from lack of customer service from them today. Had been gifted a voucher as a Christmas gift, fair enough we hadn't noticed it said valid for 6 months, but when we came in this afternoon the woman at the door was quite rude and told they wouldn't accept it. Definitely will not be visiting again

The food is excellent atmosphere very nice and the place is shining clean .

Food was nice as always however the experience was let down by the number of small kids left to run all over the place and dropping food everywhere. Feel sorry for the staff having to clean it all up. It was also a little disappointing to discover that they no longer offer discounts to Blue Light Card members. Obviously now the pandemic is over everyone is forgotten about.

Good food costs about 20 pounds per person highly recommended

Good food got to taste a lot of different Chinese food

We came here at the end of July, it is a really nice place, with good food! We had a good evening for my husbands birthday. It was a place that all kids and adults enjoyed. The only thing is defining ages for food pricing. On the website, it says 10 and under. For pricing in the restaurant, there was single pricing, which was under 5s, 10 years and under, and then adult prices. For a 5 year old in many places, they come under the bracket under 5s, so my friend got this price for her child who is 5 but for my child of the same age, was charged 10 and under pricing. I did question and got a refund, but it's not the point. This needs to be clearer for staff and customers.

This was our second time at Beijing Banquet. We much preferred the 1st time we went although the first time was lunchtime it just seemed a much more reasonable price. Almost £60 for 2 adults and a 2 year old is a bit extreme. It is nice but I actually think China Buffet King is nicer at X Site in Braehead and it's actually significantly cheaper per head and for juice etc and it's actual cans they give you not draught.

This is easy. Superb food. No faults whatsoever. Don’t miss it!

The Bejing Banquet was a good place to go . The variety of food from starters soup and loads of others dishes The choices from starters to mains to deserts the choice is fantastic lots to pick from and seconds if you could manage it . Everything I tried was lovely and I tried food I havnt tried before it was all good. The price is reasonable for two people . I ve never been before my first time but was impressed. I also used the toilets and was impressed how clean they were. The staff were also very helpful in the Bejing Banquet . Plenty parking spaces even for disabled. Now Im away to sleep this lunch off . Hope you enjoy also. This place opened at 12.00 for lunch and was instantly busy but closes again at 16.00 then opens later

Visited one week ago, very ill the next day and still suffering from the effects of the food poisoning. Staff are quick to take plates away so no issues with them - just be wary of the food.

Good food, a lot of variety of freshly made dishes. It's self service but the staff are attentive in removing plates cutlery etc. It's designed for maximum turnover so the atmosphere is almost conveyor belt/ factory oriented. That said it is good food you just have to understand what experience you are buying and go with it or not. I will happily go back.

Chicken impossible to cut maybe need chainsaws on the tables! Jelly had a film forming round it because of how long it had sat there and the pepsi max was flat. Staff were at least nice

This is the best buffet restaurant I have visited. The food is delicious, hot, varied, and plentiful. Staff are very helpful and the prices are excellent. Highly recommend.
