Chefs World Buffet in South Ayrshire

Poor choices for vegetarians and pescatarian with my food requiring heated in the microwave. Plenty desserts and staff attentive enough.

Under new management, floor staff very attentive, not as much selection of starters as before, mostly everything on the bone which I don’t like, what I did have was fresh and tasted lovely, could do with a wider choice of mains aswell, wouldn’t rush to go back

Not the same from the orginals who had it Way to expensive and half the selection now. Won't be hurry to go back

We had a lovely meal at Chef’s World Buffet, there was 8 of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed it, not one complaint. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help. Will definitely be back.

Visited yesterday with my partner and daughter. Food was fantastic, service was brilliant and it’s great value for money. We’ve visited before but this is the first time since it’s been taken over by new management and it’s by far superior. Fresh, tasty and great value. We will be back soon that’s for sure.

Visited yesterday with my son and all I can say is that the food and service was very very good. Many choices and everything was delish. We had never been before but will certainly return. 100% worth a visit. Great value for money too at these times!

Impromptu visit, well worth a visit, food was gorgeous and the staff couldn’t do enough for you, making sure your drinks were refilled and your plates cleared, not to mention making sure you were enjoying the food ! Prices were reasonable too, not hiking them up as it was a weekend/bank holiday Definitely will be back !

After getting a leaflet through our door yesterday we decided to give Mr Chef a try. We ordered Indian dishes and they were fantastic!! Plenty of meat in them and great flavours as well.

Under new management and it is not as good as it used to be. A lot of empty containers which meant very limited choices. Nothing was properly labeled so didn't know what was what. I was charged £2.90 for a glass of tap water which is shocking. We won't return again.

Went today for the 1st time. It was amazing. The food was so good and the staff were lovely. Prices are amazing. Enjoyed it that much when I got home told my partner and we have book for next week.

We have visited here in past, & always found things OK, however under new management place has been freshened up inside & the food quality noticeably better. Great value for money,2 kids ate for £1 & found plenty of choices, adults enjoyed the curry options....

Under new management and they have a more extensive menu. Quality is fantastic and all dishes are cooked perfectly. We'll done and we will be back.

The worst thing about most buffets is the meat options. you always having dry, chewing meat. this is my second time here and both times the meat its fantastic. My favorites being ribs and wings.

My mum loves coming here for lunch and has missed her wee treats over the past few months so it made her week to go back. Yet again the staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was as good as ever. Easy one way system and the tables and chairs are thoroughly cleaned Between customers.

Just been back now it's open again. Was unsure how the buffet side of getting food would be handled but no worries, all the menu choices are as before, you get as much as you want as often as you want and don't even leave the table it's all brought to you by your individual waiter. Will be going back as often as we can. The prices are even the same as pre covid BRILLIANT

This place is amazing, we were so sad when it had to close it's doors during Lockdown.But GREAT NEWS, its open again and still giving fantastic service and quality at great prices. Why go anywhere else? Give it a try, you won't be disappointed, I promise.

Have to say I love the new way of service. Pick what you want and is brought straight to your table. Anything you need just ask staff and they assist you right away. Very professional and polite. Very relaxed eating atmosphere. Tbh I actually prefer the new set up. Definitely return again soon.

Had our 1st visit to this fab restaurant since opening after lock down service was fantastic. All safety procedures in place making us feel very safe. The food was fantastic and such great value can’t wait to return.

Seen great reviews so tried the restaurant today for dinner with my family. There was 4 adults and every one of us loved it. Reasonable prices, everything we ate was lovely. The desert section was also unbelievable. We will be returning. Loved it. Service was excellent and they ensured my sister who has Celiac disease had all the information she needed. Gem of a place!!

I’ve been countless times with my family and extend family for meals and special occasions and I have never been disappointed the staff can’t do enough to help you the food is fantastic and there is plenty of choice for adults and children I have an extremely fussy child who only eats pizza and he loves the pizza in here too! It’s always busy I’ve never seen it quiet and I’ve been at all different times it’s definitely worth a visit!

I’d been to this place few years ago & was fairly impressed. However, after eating there tonight we certainly won’t be back. The menu is extremely limited, only a couple of main dishes on each. The chicken was dry, ribs were full of fat, sweet & sour tasted like Sarsons vinegar The desserts are plentiful but you can tell it’s the cheapest of products by the taste. We decided to take some friends to Chefs world buffet a couple of days after the New Year. We noticed this place won an award at the Scottish awards. Staff were efficient and polite, happy to take you on a tour to show different sections. It’s suprisiing how much they fit in such a small room.The majority of the dishes were really tasty- I would say Indian would be their specialty some of the Chinese dishes were pretty poor.All in all we can’t conplain and would happily visit again.

We've been to the Chef's World Buffet several times as a family and we all enjoy the fayre. It's looking a little tired decor wise and some of the dishes could be changed so that different options were made available, but it's reasonably priced, well cooked food and my children love it.

As usual lovely food, good service. Been numerous times and will certainly be back. Always loads of choices and always tastes as good.

If you have not been before then definitely worth a visit...the food is delicious and there is something for everyone. Expect a warm welcome and excellent customer service because that's what they do best. Looking forward to many more visits in 2020.

Homestly, the Food is 5 Star Quality. Sauces are thick and wholesome,with everything cooked perfectly.Absolutely love the place. If I stayed nearby, I would eat here every night and with the vast amount of various different dishes, I would never get fed up. All notions catered for from Indian, Chinese, Italian and European A TRUE WORLD BUFFET.Can not stress how great this wee hidden gem is.Well worth the Trip up from Glasgow every Saturday.Give it a go. Excellent value for money very clean and staff were very helpful there was a lot of menu to choose from would go back again.

We went on a busy Sunday (local light switch on, unbeknown to us until we got there). We were seated quickly, the staff were very attentive and the food was delicious. The toddler devoured the crab claws like he hadn't eaten in a month! Everyone enjoyed their meal, the staff were very attentive and there was a great choice for everyone. Would visit again

We have been here about 7 times. Service is always amazing. You always get a warm welcome and they are so attentive. They always make a big deal of our 4 year old who frequently asks to go here. She loves the sausage and pizza and chocolate fountain and make your own ice cream. It is about the same price as a takeaway but so much more value and a wide variety of food. Highly recommended.

A good selection of mainly Chinese and Indian cuisine with other food included too such as carvery Turkish and Italian but good value for money and food was ok.

Had family lunch here yesterday. Lucky to get a table from the dozens there. What a great buffet with Indian, Chinese, Italian, Turkish, Spanish etc dishes available to take from as well as a huge selection of sweets. Please take helpful staff to show us around the selection. At £5.95 great value

Im a big fan of buffet meals, and the Chefs World Buffet does not disappoint.

Great range of meals well cooked never over or underdone, won the best Buffet in Scotland award this year and rightly so, lovely friendly staff great price also tea coffee included fantastic desert choice also included simply cannot be beat as my wife and I have been round them all over the years Jaz the owner real friendly guy always have a bit of banter with him, once tried you will always go back a hardworking team behind him makes it all worth while as I said we go there every week would not do so unless pleased with meals etc.

I was greeted by a young handsome boy named Daniel, the manger Jaz was very polite too me and my 21 year old brother, he showed us to our seats and took our drinks with a calm and collected maner, he delivered our drinks in a rapid succetion with good quility and speed. Once he took our order, He said to us to enjoy our meal and he politely left us to eat our meal. Once we had finished our meal he came and took away our plates. We offered the eligent individual a handsome sum of £10 as a tip but he declined.

Disappointed again, its been 2 years since our last visit and things have not improved. After winning the award for best buffet in scotland i would have thought things would be better but it hasnt. My father was given the wrong drink 3 times, waitress doesn't seem to understand what a heavy tops is?

Went for the first time in ages. Great to see them winning Best Buffet - well done. Food was good, especially the curries. Good staff as well - Cara looked after us fantastically.

My partner and I went here for lunch today for the first time, was blown away, food good, service 1st class. Couldn't fault it, will certainly be back. Staff so pleasant and polite, don't know whether it was the owner or manager, but couldn't have been nicer to us, very helpful asking if it was our first visit and showing us around.

I’ve been here many times before and have been very happy with severe and food. However, I will never be back!

You're not going here for a luxury meal, but everything you do get will be tasty. I've never had any adverse side affects , noticed anything un sanitary, or not enjoyed my visit. Would go if looking for a bargain.

We have been coming here now.since it first opened. All my friends and neighbours absolutly love it! Food is always hot tasty and of a really high quality,the sauces are thick and very moreish. I am totally addicted to this hidden wee gem and can not recommend it any higher than Super Wow. Love it.... service is alway 5 star and everything is spotless. If you haven't tried it, honestly, you won't be dissapointed.

Once again been to Chefs World Buffet with my son and enjoyed a superb selection of food with excellent service all at a very reasonable price. By far one of our favourite eateries.

Popped in for family early dinner. As always very friendly atmosphere and tasty food. Was about half full and plenty to choose from

Food was ok but staff need lessons in smiling very poor customer service we arrived at 7.30pm they close at 9pm staff were emptying bins and generally making it known you were in their way - will not be back and will not reccomend

Have not left feed back in a while. Still truely amazing. It's that good that we now have to wait to be seated. We come here at least once a week sometimes twice, The food is fantastic and service is great. Been to a lot of these buffet style restaurants and sincerely believe this is the best one in West Central Scotland. Well worth the 40 minute trip from Glasgow. I will continue to come here as long as the food quality is maintained, as it definatley can't be improved, You can't improve on perfection. If you have not visited this hidden gem, make the effort. Having recently moved to Ayrshire and having tried a lot of the buffet style restaurants in and around the Glasgow area we were surprised to find online this buffet restaurant in a small Ayrshire town , we were very impressed with all aspects from the very friendly greeting from staff (Andrea I think) to the fantastic selection of very tasty food from around the world ,also the free soft drinks refills went down a treat, the price was amazing as much as you can eat and drink (soft drinks) for two people for under £20, as good as if not better than any of the larger establishments in and around Glasgow,will definitely be back.
