Viva Garden in South Ayrshire

It was only quick visit but a place I wanted to go to the food was delicious. Nice little restaurant friendly front of house lady. I will try full meal next time.

I hate leaving bad reviews but I feel the need to. After more than 1 bad experience now. I ordered a delivery, food was here in 20 minutes but drinks were missing. I called back and explain the situation, the reply back was the driver hadn’t left yet. I was not understood. No apology. I was then told my drinks would be sent out. This took half an hour. I tried the salt and chilli satay skewers for the first time, nice flavour but I found them chewy. Very disappointing for the price. Another time I placed an order for delivery I waited hours and called back. They said they didn’t have my order and accused me of calling the wrong shop. Eventually they realised that I had indeed called and my order was “lost”. I gave them another chance because I do enjoy the food but unfortunately this will be my last. I have also sat in the restaurant for a meal. Our waitress was very loud and eccentric. Being inquisitive asking why I had only ate a certain amount also asking why our table booked for 3 only had 2. We explained this at the desk on arrival. No communication between staff. I witnessed a lot of mistakes at different tables too. My family member ordered a combination curry. I think this was around £12 and we were surprised when this came with no rice. The menu did not state you had to order separate nor did the waitress.

£27 for King Prawn curry, noodles & chicken balls, waste of money, complained and no reply, that's me bye with this lot

I came for Chicken & Cashew nuts, and a flavorless bowl of lumpy goop came out… the rest of the family loved theirs though, Teriyaki Filet of Beef, Chicken Fried Rice, Prawn Pad Thai and another one I don’t remember. I would try this again, I think I might have just been unlucky…

Good quality food, tasty, not oily. Nice, Family run place. Pre-theatre menu good choice and value. A la carte is expensive. Small drink selection. Very good service by the younger members of the family, respectful, helpful and well mannered.

Best Chinese in ayr , just my opinion 😋 great service

Food took 2 hours to come when was told between 45minutes to 1 hour . Was delivered 2 hours later 😠. Food wad not impressive dry noodles and was cold 🤨. Would Definitely not recommend and won't be ordering from them again 😔

I love the Chinese restaurant! The food is delicious and the service is great. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, perfect for a date night or a family dinner. I highly recommend the dumplings and the Kung Pao chicken. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. The staff is friendly and attentive. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that I will definitely be returning to.

Absolutely the best chinese around, the Satay sauce is perfect, Unlike any others.

Just ordered from here,they forgot my drink and said it would be at least an hour before delivery,I said the delivery driver just left send him to the shop,the owner bumping there gums in background,so if it had been chips for main meal would it have been the same outcome probably,utterly appalling customer service,and very small portions for the price we paid,it’s simple they lost our custom over a simple can of coke

Horrible food!Cotted in stuff, prawns not succulent and my partner didn't touch his food,waste of money and would like a refund.Beging Palace is so much better

Got carry out, fantastic meal phoned order in and got phone call back to say it was ready before original time was given brilliant service. Went for sit in meal absolutely brilliant staff more than 1st class very friendly and nothing was a problem to them

In the area for a wee holiday. Seen this place had good reviews so had to nip in. Absolutely amazing was impressed by the started just knew the main meal was going to be good and wasnt dissapointed customer service was 2nd to none perfect wee place

Came with friends for dinner as have had carry out before and enjoyed it very much but this was amazing! We had the starter for two which was a fantastic selection AND loads to eat then we all had different mains. Personally my satay chicken was the best I have had in a very long time and everyone enjoyed their choices too!!

Professional Friendly Service, picked up at agreed time slot and food was all present and correct. Only thing was chips was a bit of a let down but was very minor. Been a few times now and loved it

I had Cantonese sweet and sour chicken and rice, it was amazing, my husband had ribs which were also amazing but he also had fillet fillet steak with black pepper sauce but fillet was very tough.

Just had a takeaway.chips were disgusting,definitely re heats and tasteless,I won’t be revisiting,I used to enjoy this restaurant too.

This Chinese restaurant have the best food I ever try. Each dish had they unique flavours. And the attention was great definaly is a good place where to go for a family meal.

Rice portion at £2.40 is tiny! They charged us for chips but didn't deliver them. We phoned back and told them, so they sent another portion of chips over an hour later. Would expect to get a small conciliation for this, but nothing offered, no apology either. Pork dumplings are superb, but everything is overpriced for what you get!

The staff handled a large order excellently and when they accidentally double charged me, they were super helpful about returning my money. Food was excellent too.

One of my favourites in prestwick, only ever had takeaway but always been delicious 😋...even after quite a few miles for delivery everything is still fresh, deffo worth a try and the owners see lovley, same with the delivery driver 😀

Lockdown and we got a delivery of a fantastic meal. To top it I got a gluten free chicken and mushroom which is a real treat for me as I can never get gluten free. Hubby loved his ribs and beef and cashew. All delicious and lovely and hot. Well done viva garden

What a lovely place, went on Valentine's day with my husband and son on the way home after a long journey. Was great to be able to get tofu dishes as they're not easy to find around here and the food was tasty. Absolutely lovely staff, very friendly and helpful.

Quickly delivered, good proportions and great taste! Only issue (if any) is that the food could of came slightly warmer, however, stay great, stay humble.

Visited Viva Garden last night with friends. Had never been in before but knew it was there, it came out as no 2 restaurant in Prestwick in Trip Advisor so we booked. What a delicious meal the 4 of us had, from starters of vegetable spring rolls, aromatic duck pancakes and chilli prawns. Mains were chicken curry, Thai green curry, honey chilli chicken and wok satay with beef and chicken. The portions were big and everything was piping hot and cooked to perfection with the beef and chicken melting in your mouth. No bland food here, your tastebuds will explode with happiness at Viva Garden. The service was brilliant too with lots of attention to detail. We have all walked passed this restaurant hundreds of times, so don’t walk past, go in and give your tastebuds a treat.

We were in Prestwick late afternoon and we were looking for somewhere to eat. We pretty much chose this place at random. What a great surprise!

We had a pre Christmas family gathering on the 21st of December. There were 14 of us plus kids. Decided to have a carry out. I placed the order in the morning to be delivered approx 5pm in the evening. Food was delivered on time, was piping hot and excellent. Well done to all involved. We were very impressed and will be using again. Thanks!

We had a Chinese take-away last night from Viva Garden and once again the food was fabulous, massive portions and we struggled to get through them. They provided a first class delivery service and the food was piping hot. The price was very reasonable, we will definitely order from them again in the future. Well done to all concerned.

This is a fantastic chinese restaurant excellent service food great

This was our second visit to Viva Garden. We can thoroughly recommend the mixed starter to share, consisting of prawn toast, ribs, spring rolls and chicken wings. It's served with satay sauce and sweet chilli sauce. The prawn toast is the best ever and I don't know what they put around their chicken wings, but they put KFC to shame!

New favourite restaurant, delicious Chinese and Thai food in a lovely setting. You can sit in or takeaway as they deliver. ordered from the Tapas Menu to sample everything. favourites are salt & chilli prawns, shredded crispy beef, Thai spring rolls and the noodles and spicy chips are my favourite sides. They also do nice Thai options like red Thai curry etc which is also delicious. Everything we've ordered has been fantastic. Lovely decor, friendly staff and large menu to choose from with generous portion sizes. 100% recommend giving Viva Garden a try if you haven't been yet! X

We ordered a takeaway this evening & the quality was so poor, we couldn't eat it! The sweet & sour dish was watery & almost completely tasteless, and the chips had obviously been reheat! The other dish we had ordered was supposed to be crispy but was soggy.. the delivery was really quick so I don't know how they managed this!! It also had no sauce, as it had spilled all over the bag! We unfortunately won't be ordering from here again!

I'm really sad to see that Viva Garden have lowered the quality of their food. Cost-cutting I'd imagine. Over the past year, Viva Garden became my go to Chinese takeaway in Ayrshire. The prawn crackers were thin and crispy, ingredients fresh and proper meat. The past three times I have eaten from here - the prawn crackers were thick and far too sweet, chow mein and rice greasy and the honey and chilli chicken did not resemble chicken at all. Just squidgy formed meat of some kind. I thought I'd give them a couple more chances but unfortunately this seems to be the standard now.

Fabulous food and service. Owners and staff friendly and most welcoming. Food arrived promptly and piping hot. Menus varied and included many vegetarian options.

Was in for dinner Saturday service good husband had chicken sweet corn soup which he enjoyed we then had duck in pineapple which was most enjoyable we also ordered sweet and sore chicken balls the first 3 very good cut into the 4 and it was a prawn and it appeared so was the other 2 spoke to the Chinese lady who apologised but still brought us a bill for the full amount again pointed we only had 3 but I'm afraid it did fall on deaf ears won't be back for a while.
