I’ve not posted a review in years but I feel compelled to come out of retirement after tonight’s meal. My aging father brought home the warm bag which initially smelled delicious, and I looked forward excitedly to the contents and the flavours which awaited me. Unfortunately what happened next, shocked me to my very core. To begin with, the chips were triple cooked (evidently reheated multiple times). While this isn’t the end of the world, it’s a slight disappointment after parting with hard earned coin. After this relatively disappointing start, I prized open the curry, hoping it would turn things around. Unfortunately what can only be described as ambiguous bird entrails greeted me. I’ve never seen or had the displeasure of tasting such vulgar chicken. I genuinely cannot believe how bad the quality of this stuff was. One expects chicken from the Chinese to be slightly rubbery but my Lord this stuff was foul. The only plausible explanation for the texture and flavour of this stuff is that it’s sabre tooth tiger frozen for centuries and repurposed by the Dragon Palace to put in these meals. While this review may elicit a laugh, I simply must stress that it was the most harrowing experience attempting to consume this meal. I actually feel bad for the staff who work here, they must cringe every time they hand over the bag to the customer, knowing the horrors they’ll experience upon consuming the food. To those who have given this place more than one star, have some respect for yourself, you deserve better. Foul meal, sauce was decent though.

What has happened to the Jade House. I used to order regulary for many many years. Well, after a long time, I ordered a home delivery...the salt content in all the food, especially the gravy, the satay sauce and the chow mein is absolutely horrendous. The high levels of salt cannot be safe for human consumption.. shocking. If you value your blood pressure and kidneys, stay away...

Usamos aquí durante un año la comida siempre fue bastante buena, así que no hay quejas allí, pero el costo ahora es demasiado caro, así que ahora use una alternativa que es mucho más barato y la comida igual de buena

Pretty much what you expect, nice food, pleasant staff and a reasonable price. I go quite regularly and never felt like I was served bad food. Not an enormous selection but perfectly adequate to feel like you have variety and has some more generic food (onion rings, pizza etc.) which is good for my autistic son who can be very picky about what he eats. Never had more than a 15 min wait even in busy hours because they have a lot of seating too. And they serve pints unlike some other buffets in glasgow

This was my first visit since before covid. The staff as usual are so attentive, hard working, the restaurant as usual is spotless, the food obviously is always fresh, however, since my last visit I found the selection had changed to boring, there were more fried vegetables like green beans, fried broccoli, and onion rings, in my opinion it was like the management were cutting down to maximise profit rather than maintaining a tasty and interesting meal for customers, as I said earlier, the more times I went up to smaller the given choices, the more bored I became, one dish merged into the next taste wise, however, at the end, their usual apple crumble and custard was as usual excellent, and given the price including a half pint shandy at just over £24.00, the whole exercise was a ripoff, I've had a much tastier take away from Lidl a £2.89. Yours Tom Forsyth.
