First time getting order from here, was brilliant, got special chow mein and curry chips, defo be going back

Food worst I have ever experienced and service not much better. Ordered chicken curry and got beef. Each time had to ask and wait for fresh cutlery. The Food cold. Meat dishes mostly chicken and I do like chicken but not with every dish. 2 dishes with beef but no pork or prawns at all. Chow Mein all noodles and very ittle else. Only ice cream for desert and nothing to go with it. Will not be back and would not recommend.

Tried ‘18 by Oaka’ for the first time yesterday and I was well impressed. Place was clean and spotless, staff were knowledgeable and friendly and our order came promptly. When it did, we were delighted by how it tasted. Spring rolls for starter, chicken curry and fried rice for main with a side of salt & chilli chips for the table. I know I’m not the most adventurous when it comes to Chinese food, but I do know what’s good and what’s not. Their food yesterday was terrific. Felt like I needed a kip after it. I even got up to go to the toilet (cigarette) and forgot to put on my face mask. When one of the waitresses pulled me up for it she was polite and courteous. Well handled. Couldn’t fault it in any way, well only one small point. The table kept sliding on the tiling floor which annoyed me. The missus had to eat with one foot placed on the other side of the table leg. I’ll knock a point off for that. Other than that, a definite strong 8.5/9 out of ten. Loved it. Keep up the good work folks, we’ll be back. Hunter/Table of three. 😉
