The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Glasgow and Surrounding

This was recommended to me this place , got meal A , says Peking ribs . No bigger than a 50p piece per rib . Portions are laughable if that's what you call a portion of ribs daylight robbery trying to pass these off a ribs. Rice ok , curry sauce not the greatest I could taste the powder of the sauce so not a good sign . I'll be staying well clear but no surprise as shrinkflation on show everywhere and hard to find a good Chinese takeaway these days. Only reason I went cause eves was closed and drive to spring garden to long but wish I drove now as this was shengus . Only giving two stars for rice n chicken but Won't be back 👎👎

Tried all of the Chinese takeaways in Clydebank and this has to be the most economical very large portions very tasty, with a choice of free extras after £18 spend.. all meals with prawn crackers.

Good food and reasonably priced. Got food from here a couple of times. I'll be eating here again

1. Service. Chucky and Janice make us feel more than welcome every week when we are there...They know us all by name and really do look after us...First class. 2. The food is really outstanding and we have never had a bad meal in the 2 years we have been coming to the Mandarin. We couldn't recommend this place more... First class in every way.

La comida era muy patética y el ambiente general era incómodo y malo. Traté de salir del lugar de al lado para cenar y ese lugar era mucho mejor. Podrían aprender de ello. También por alguna razón solo el efectivo aceptado y los trabajadores eran desagradables.

Quite simply the best mixed meat chow mein (no prawns) I have had in Lanarkshire. The photo does not do the chow mein justice with meat throughout the noodles as well. All the meat tasted great. Highly recommend.

Comida horrible, grandes trozos de pollo absolutamente insípido como lo era el arroz y las nueces de anacardo! Creo que el chef necesita ser despedido! Llamaron por teléfono para decirles pero no estaban interesados, nuestra noche se estropeó y esperamos no tener ninguna reacción adversa a la comida terrible creo que las autoridades locales necesitan revisar las cocinas

We always order from Wokstar and never had any issues, tonight we ordered just before 8 pm, the estimated delivery was between 8:40 pm and- 21:10, at 21:30 send a message through the app and they said it was delayed, the delivery driver came at 21:50. Wokstar is at 10 driving from my house, not sure what happened tonight, on top the that the food was warm, usually the food is fairly hot. Nos sure if I order from here again, 2 2 hours to get our food, that seems too much.

Reheated chips 4 times in a row now and I mean reheated to the point they are unfit for human consumption!!!! Never ever again!

Have been using this Chinese for 6 yrs however tonight our usual order was very disappointing, the chicken was so chewy and tough we could not eat! With the rising cost of food this Chinese food is always a treat however all family were disappointed Will now look for another Chinese in the area it’s a shame after 6 yrs

Tonight after being a loyal customer, I will never be ordering again from Canton House again. 2 hours 40 minutes later still no food, lies told on 4 different phones call promised it was 5 mins away. Only explanation was it must have been delivered to the wrong address and an apology but you have to realise they’re busy. We’ll just lost customers.

Given wrong item. Live far away so pointless to return and get it replaced/delivered. Even worse that the wrong item given was honkin 🤮😫 chicken wis chewy and no him fae Star Wars. 0/5 Harrison Fords. Rice was nice tho. Curry sauce anawl. Aw well…

This was perhaps the worst Chinese food I have ever tasted. Granted we didn’t have the traditional Chinese menu, opting rather for the more westernised items. My wife started with salt and chilli wings which were basically just fried chicken wings. And seasoning that did come with it was scattered around the plate. I started with the West lake beef soup which was ok. For mains I chose the satay - the chicken was very rubbery and cheap tasting and the sauce was overly sweet. The accompanying fried rice was very sticky and heavy. My wife had the chicken curry which she said was nearly ok. As a result we ate virtually none of the main course. We asked for the bill and the waitress completely ignored the fact that there two virtually untouched portions of food on the table. She merely took my card and the bill was paid. This part of Glasgow has lots of Chinese/Malaysian/Korean eateries from street food to high end. Unfortunately this one does not rate at all. I so wish we had gone to the far far superior Dumpling Monkey across the road. Needless to say we will never be back.
