Best chinese takeaway in Glasgow, hands down. First visit in a while and the food didn't disappoint. Highly recommend.

Had for the first time- very good vegetarian/vegan menu which was great. Reasonably priced and very tasty- would recommend.

We’ve been ordering from here for close to 10 years, we’ve tried other Chinese restaurants of course but always return to panda house. Best Singapore chow mein in the town, chicken is consistently delicious. After that many years I can count on one hand anytime something has gone wrong with the order, this happens anywhere you go it’s just part of the industry. Panda house however stand out when these things happen as they very attentive, courteous, professional and quick to help.

Bought salt & pepper chicken balls from here having tried the Kam Wa chicken balls,The Panda House couldn't touch Kam Wa's.It was like they served old chicken balls,they were halved in 2 deep fried (again) then wok fried with crushed chilli flakes. The grease seemed old also ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!! Never again.

That was the WORST MEAL ive ever had from a Chinese this place used to do nice food that's twice this has happened there won't be a third time TERRIBLE SHAME

Had a really disappointing experience. Had been ordering from them for years. Last time I ordered there was thick a black hair in the main dish and the order was otherwise wrong. I politely asked for a refund. They agreed but when I got my card statement- the refund hadn't been processed. When I went back to them and to just eat to ask for its to be fixed, I just got ignored by them/stonewalled. So disappointing. Really poor customer service.

Takeaway only, but never again. Food was revolting, chicken was bland and tasteless, they had managed to serve fried rice could best be described as soggy. Chicken balls & chips tasted of stale cooking oil, gravy tasted bitter, the satay overwhelmingly tasted of vinegar. Awful

Unanimously won in a blind taste test with 8 people against other local Chinese take aways. You won't find better Salt and Chilli chips.

We have been ordering from Panda House for over 5 years now and I have not once had a bad takeaway from them. It is a shame some of the reviews are negative as I cannot say I relate. Please don't let it put you off ordering from them as I can honestly say their meals are lovely. I particularly love their chow mein, salt and chilli spring rolls and their beef curry.

Ordered from here since 2015, but have noticed the quality of the food getting worse over the last year or so, not sure if due to the cost of produce increasing. The food doesn't feel as freshly cooked. Shame. Prefer Kam Wa these days.

Extremely disappointed. Ordered from this place a month or 2 ago and food was nice... Fast forward to today, went onto just eat and just clicked "order again" and it auto populated with my previous order and I processed it. Expected it to have been as nice as last time.....wrong! 1) i put a clear instruction on the paperwork saying "dont ring buzzer" I was looking out for the driver and was going to call him to the window as we have a disabled family member who was sleeping. Since the restaurant never updated the just eat app with the progress, I didn't know when to expect the driver and he had no option but to buzz. The app has STILL not updated from "we have received your order and are working on it". 2) none of the food tasted anything like the previous meal we ordered. It actually seemed like it was from a totally different place. So much so, that i had to go back into the app to double check. This would suggest that it's a hit or miss whether you will get a good meal or not. 3)The beef in the curry was disgusting! thick ,chewy and inedible and the curry sauce was too thick and gloopy ... needed thinning out a bit. It also had a cheap taste that lingers in your mouth like its been over seasoned. 4) chips were bland and nothing like the same style of chips we had last time. Even salt didn't revive them And the chicken balls were so oily and although they looked huge, when you bit into them, there was more soggy, oily dough than chicken, and the chicken had the texture like it had been cooked from frozen with hard bits. There's nothing worse than ordering food and spending your hard earned money on something and looking forward to it, only to throw it in the bin, be 25 quid down, annoyed and left with nothing but an oily taste in your mouth for hours later. Won't be returning sadly.

Not sure what happened as we liked Panda House. They maybe didn’t have a cook in yesterday and were microwaving things that should have gone in the bin as our usual dishes were completely inedible. Avoiding now

My first time using Panda House and ordered few dishes for my birthday meal , I was very impressed , food was first class , tasted beautiful .... I will defo use again as restaurant quality food from a take away !!! thank you :) I got a take away from Panda House tonight and was blown away by the quality of all dishes wonderful birthday meal :)

The single WORST Chinese takeaway I have ever had in my entire life......it took 80 minutes to arrive....the food was cold, undercooked and congealed - in fact, inedible. To add insult to injury, they hadn't even included all of my order!! If I could give it minus 5 stars I would, as it is the polar opposite of good food and service. An absolute and total rip-off - please do yourselves a favour and go ANYWHERE ELSE - Panda House is the pits!!!

Best Chinese food in the southside. Amazing quality. Ordered more than 30 times and only once did they miss a dish and after calling they sorted within 5 mins, not like just eat. Will only order direct from now on.

Used to be great but in the last few months the service and food has gone way down and orders have been incorrect. Stopped going for a few months but decided to give it another shot recently and three items were missing from our order and I was given meat in a vegetarian dish. Very disappointing.

It’s one of my favourite Chinese’s in the South side. We often like to try other places as there’s so many options in the area, but always fall back to Panda House. The salt and chilli chips are the best I’ve ever had and their satay sauce is always unreal. Would love a few better vegetarian options though

Totally disappointed ! Travelled 40 minutes with the kids and guess what ! NO PANDAS. kids where in tears, I promised kids they would see a beautiful big panda, so off to bearsden now and hope for some luck

So we've had nice food from here before but last night it was awful. I got my usual chicken satay and the chicken was fatty and the sauce was watery. As i was unhappy I decided to call and explain the issue but instead of trying to resolve the issue I was made out to be a liar. Why would I waste my time phoning to complain about something, I have better things to do with my time. I will no longer be ordering from this restaurant.

My favourite place for Chinese food. Always a treat & better than cooking. Had salt & chilli mini veggie spring rolls & braised chicken in peking sauce. Loveliest Chinese take-away i have ever had so THANK YOU so much xX :) This was brilliant after a long Monday at work!

Found the Panda House by accident - whilst up in Glasgow visiting family. Went out looking for a good takeaway for me and my daughter and found a great one! Got lovely friendly welcome from staff. Huge choice on menu! Great food. Best. Chinese. Ever! No exaggeration - maybe it’s all better up north but portions were so much bigger than we expected (we just don’t get this down south) - and we literally couldn’t finish everything we ordered. Despite it all tasting great. Highly recommend and will def. return next time we’re up. Thanx Panda 🐼

If you know you know, this place is the real deal. Dont be afraid to go off menu, gong is a wok wizard. Anyone giving this place 3 stars or less are cretins who order chicken curry and chips in a Chinese.

This was my favourite Chinese in Glasgow. The first time I tried their food it blew me away. Unfortunately today I ordered my favourite salt n chilli tofu with sweet n sour sauce. The tofu is usually bursting with flavour today it was extremely bland, the sweet n sour tasted of nothing but salt. I also ordered crispy seaweed and apart from the sprinkle of seasoning on top the seaweed tasted of nothing but cardboard which was extremely disappointing given the price of it. I put this down to a bad day and sent them a message stating almost exactly what I have here. Instead of receiving any acknowledgment to what I had said, I received only a very rude comment stating that I should of called the shop. Very disappointing as I doubt I will ever order there again die to the serious lack of customer service.

Currently waiting for a delivery placed 1 hour 40 minutes ago (and it’s still not here, despite a phone call to check). This should be stated at time of ordering. For this reason I will not use again and cannot recommend.

Delicious food, good value. I can't eat onion or garlic and they accommodated my needs perfectly. Attentive staff and a good range of food. I recommend the vegan duck and the salt chili tofu.

I was going to submit a fantastic review as the menu is quite extensive and even has vegan dishes. I was so happy to find a chinese which has sweetcorn soup (not chicken and sweetcorn) on the menu. The food is very good however, I found a sharp piece of plastic in my take away so unfortunately, I won't be going back.

After a late film viewing on Sunday, it was struggle to get a restaurant still serving in Pollocksheilds and Shawlands after 8:30 pm. We saw this place and it was still serving food, the decor is not exciting and once you see pass that its a great place and good value for money. The staff were friendly and food was good, we even had half a duck and were given a great trip to add some chilli sauce to the pancake to enhance the flavour which it did. We would defo go back here again!

This was soooo good! We ordered a takeaway for my friends and I one Sunday night sitting in. I didn’t think it was expensive at all for what we got. My friend order tofu and said it was the tastiest veggie dish he’s had from a Chinese restaurant in Glasgow. I got salt and pepper chicken (without batter) which was lovely, as was the chicken curry and salt and pepper spring rolls. Prawn crackers are so think and crispy, nicest I’ve had in Glasgow so far. We ended up ordering from them again the same week we liked it that much! For honest sesame chicken which was beautiful, very sweet. The salt and pepper chicken balls were really good too. Everything is piping hot when delivered. Really impressed and recommended to others. Free spring rolls and free prawn crackers if you spend over a certain amount. Delivery was a little slow for us but we live a bit further out I think.

This is my absolute favourite Chinese. For sitting in and take away. Everything is so so fresh. I love sitting in the staff are lovely as is the presentation and the food is always hot and they sit your plates on a little plate heater on the table. Really good value and worth a try.

Mi marido y yo fuimos aquí para una cena rápida hoy pero deseamos no habernos molestado, la comida estaba muy grasosa y nos dejaron a nuestros propios dispositivos, ya que parecía que los camareros vecinos estaban en la mesa de al lado y tenían un servicio increíble y su comida se veía mucho mejor y tenía porciones mucho más grandes (afortunadamente) aunque pensamos que pedimos la mayoría de los mismos platos, nunca volveré y le insto a cualquiera a que vuelva a pensar en comer aquí.

Well this is primarily a ‘take away’ with a restaurant as an after thought. S few chairs and tables in s room.

I found the service terrible , as we had a waiter with a terrible attitude. The food was greasy, too salty and wasn't enjoyable to eat. I didn't sleep that night from constant vomiting and stomach cramps, so never again I'm afraid.

Awful in every experience and would have give 0 stars if I had the option.

Got overcharged and given the wrong order. Wouldn't normally leave a bad review as I work in a takeaway and it annoys me when people leave bad reviews without going direct to the restaurant first, but the minute I opened the bag I remembered that they tried to do exactly the same thing a couple of years ago and were really rude when I questioned them about the price. Wish I had remembered this before I went in again tonight!

Me encontré con este sitio, no parece mucho desde fuera, pero nos quedamos gratamente sorprendidos. Personal atento y pleasing​ interior, y sobre todo buena comida (y bien de precio). Si estoy en la zona de nuevo volveré.

Pedimos una entrega el pasado fin de semana. Esperamos más de una hora, sólo para la comida llega fría piedra. Pudiera sostener las cajas metálicas en la palma de mi mano, apenas registrar cualquier calor.

Been going to the Panda House for 10+years.Food is excellent can honestly say that I've never has a bad experience. Place owned and run by Damian, also Kevin's been there from the start. The honey chicken sesame starter great as is the salt and chilli chicken. Satay dishes as well as the seafood combination in a potato basket.

haven't been in this restaurant for a while, we had a large table booked no one else in the restaurant, staff as always really friendly and nothing is too much trouble.All of the food was lovely except the beef satay could not get my teeth through it, won't be ordering that again, the chicken satay was perfect as was the chicken balls and the crispy shredded beef.

A chinese student recommended panda house over 10 years ago and I've going ever since.I'm rarely disappointed. I wouldn't think about another Chinese restaurant in the southside. Portions are huge so it's very easy to overorder

Food fantastic as always, was lied to about the food being out for delivery, turned out it hadn't been cooked and came an hour after the expected time which had already been pushed back by 45mins.

The Satay is far too sweet and too watery! Roast Duck and Mushroom was very sweet too. The duck was cooked okay. First time trying and I won't be returning.

Panda house was our regular go to Chinese. Order was 30 min late, rang and was told would be 15 mins... came 1.5 hours late... food was lukewarm and no where near normal expected standard. Very disappointing indeed! Shame there's no option for zero star review!! }:-(
