Fresh tasty food and huge portions!!! 😍

Ordered from here since 2015, but have noticed the quality of the food getting worse over the last year or so, not sure if due to the cost of produce increasing. The food doesn't feel as freshly cooked. Shame. Prefer Kam Wa these days.

Extremely disappointed. Ordered from this place a month or 2 ago and food was nice... Fast forward to today, went onto just eat and just clicked "order again" and it auto populated with my previous order and I processed it. Expected it to have been as nice as last time.....wrong! 1) i put a clear instruction on the paperwork saying "dont ring buzzer" I was looking out for the driver and was going to call him to the window as we have a disabled family member who was sleeping. Since the restaurant never updated the just eat app with the progress, I didn't know when to expect the driver and he had no option but to buzz. The app has STILL not updated from "we have received your order and are working on it". 2) none of the food tasted anything like the previous meal we ordered. It actually seemed like it was from a totally different place. So much so, that i had to go back into the app to double check. This would suggest that it's a hit or miss whether you will get a good meal or not. 3)The beef in the curry was disgusting! thick ,chewy and inedible and the curry sauce was too thick and gloopy ... needed thinning out a bit. It also had a cheap taste that lingers in your mouth like its been over seasoned. 4) chips were bland and nothing like the same style of chips we had last time. Even salt didn't revive them And the chicken balls were so oily and although they looked huge, when you bit into them, there was more soggy, oily dough than chicken, and the chicken had the texture like it had been cooked from frozen with hard bits. There's nothing worse than ordering food and spending your hard earned money on something and looking forward to it, only to throw it in the bin, be 25 quid down, annoyed and left with nothing but an oily taste in your mouth for hours later. Won't be returning sadly.

Not sure what happened as we liked Panda House. They maybe didn’t have a cook in yesterday and were microwaving things that should have gone in the bin as our usual dishes were completely inedible. Avoiding now

Delicious food, nicest Satay I have ever tasted 🍛

My first time using Panda House and ordered few dishes for my birthday meal , I was very impressed , food was first class , tasted beautiful .... I will defo use again as restaurant quality food from a take away !!! thank you :) I got a take away from Panda House tonight and was blown away by the quality of all dishes wonderful birthday meal :)

Only had delivery, sometimes it can take a hour to come but we'll worth the wait

Took hour and a half. Rice cold. Noodles not nice. In bin. Prawn toast rubbery as were won tons. Really bad.

The single WORST Chinese takeaway I have ever had in my entire life......it took 80 minutes to arrive....the food was cold, undercooked and congealed - in fact, inedible. To add insult to injury, they hadn't even included all of my order!! If I could give it minus 5 stars I would, as it is the polar opposite of good food and service. An absolute and total rip-off - please do yourselves a favour and go ANYWHERE ELSE - Panda House is the pits!!!

Best Chinese food in the southside. Amazing quality. Ordered more than 30 times and only once did they miss a dish and after calling they sorted within 5 mins, not like just eat. Will only order direct from now on.

This is by far my favourite Chinese takeaway. The food is always delicious and Theresa, the owner, and her colleagues are always welcoming and courteous. Would definitely recommend.

Hands down the best Chinese in the Southside. Food is consistently delicious, delivery has always been reasonably quick, staff are always friendly.

Used to be great but in the last few months the service and food has gone way down and orders have been incorrect. Stopped going for a few months but decided to give it another shot recently and three items were missing from our order and I was given meat in a vegetarian dish. Very disappointing.

It’s one of my favourite Chinese’s in the South side. We often like to try other places as there’s so many options in the area, but always fall back to Panda House. The salt and chilli chips are the best I’ve ever had and their satay sauce is always unreal. Would love a few better vegetarian options though

Totally disappointed ! Travelled 40 minutes with the kids and guess what ! NO PANDAS. kids where in tears, I promised kids they would see a beautiful big panda, so off to bearsden now and hope for some luck

So we've had nice food from here before but last night it was awful. I got my usual chicken satay and the chicken was fatty and the sauce was watery. As i was unhappy I decided to call and explain the issue but instead of trying to resolve the issue I was made out to be a liar. Why would I waste my time phoning to complain about something, I have better things to do with my time. I will no longer be ordering from this restaurant.

My favourite place for Chinese food. Always a treat & better than cooking. Had salt & chilli mini veggie spring rolls & braised chicken in peking sauce. Loveliest Chinese take-away i have ever had so THANK YOU so much xX :) This was brilliant after a long Monday at work!

Sally and chillie squid was a..murdered with salt and like rubber very much overcooked the noodles were also very salty

Found the Panda House by accident - whilst up in Glasgow visiting family. Went out looking for a good takeaway for me and my daughter and found a great one! Got lovely friendly welcome from staff. Huge choice on menu! Great food. Best. Chinese. Ever! No exaggeration - maybe it’s all better up north but portions were so much bigger than we expected (we just don’t get this down south) - and we literally couldn’t finish everything we ordered. Despite it all tasting great. Highly recommend and will def. return next time we’re up. Thanx Panda 🐼

If you know you know, this place is the real deal. Dont be afraid to go off menu, gong is a wok wizard. Anyone giving this place 3 stars or less are cretins who order chicken curry and chips in a Chinese.

This was my favourite Chinese in Glasgow. The first time I tried their food it blew me away. Unfortunately today I ordered my favourite salt n chilli tofu with sweet n sour sauce. The tofu is usually bursting with flavour today it was extremely bland, the sweet n sour tasted of nothing but salt. I also ordered crispy seaweed and apart from the sprinkle of seasoning on top the seaweed tasted of nothing but cardboard which was extremely disappointing given the price of it. I put this down to a bad day and sent them a message stating almost exactly what I have here. Instead of receiving any acknowledgment to what I had said, I received only a very rude comment stating that I should of called the shop. Very disappointing as I doubt I will ever order there again die to the serious lack of customer service.

Currently waiting for a delivery placed 1 hour 40 minutes ago (and it’s still not here, despite a phone call to check). This should be stated at time of ordering. For this reason I will not use again and cannot recommend.

Delicious food, good value. I can't eat onion or garlic and they accommodated my needs perfectly. Attentive staff and a good range of food. I recommend the vegan duck and the salt chili tofu.

I was going to submit a fantastic review as the menu is quite extensive and even has vegan dishes. I was so happy to find a chinese which has sweetcorn soup (not chicken and sweetcorn) on the menu. The food is very good however, I found a sharp piece of plastic in my take away so unfortunately, I won't be going back.

After a late film viewing on Sunday, it was struggle to get a restaurant still serving in Pollocksheilds and Shawlands after 8:30 pm. We saw this place and it was still serving food, the decor is not exciting and once you see pass that its a great place and good value for money. The staff were friendly and food was good, we even had half a duck and were given a great trip to add some chilli sauce to the pancake to enhance the flavour which it did. We would defo go back here again!

This was soooo good! We ordered a takeaway for my friends and I one Sunday night sitting in. I didn’t think it was expensive at all for what we got. My friend order tofu and said it was the tastiest veggie dish he’s had from a Chinese restaurant in Glasgow. I got salt and pepper chicken (without batter) which was lovely, as was the chicken curry and salt and pepper spring rolls. Prawn crackers are so think and crispy, nicest I’ve had in Glasgow so far. We ended up ordering from them again the same week we liked it that much! For honest sesame chicken which was beautiful, very sweet. The salt and pepper chicken balls were really good too. Everything is piping hot when delivered. Really impressed and recommended to others. Free spring rolls and free prawn crackers if you spend over a certain amount. Delivery was a little slow for us but we live a bit further out I think.

This is my absolute favourite Chinese. For sitting in and take away. Everything is so so fresh. I love sitting in the staff are lovely as is the presentation and the food is always hot and they sit your plates on a little plate heater on the table. Really good value and worth a try.

Mi marido y yo fuimos aquí para una cena rápida hoy pero deseamos no habernos molestado, la comida estaba muy grasosa y nos dejaron a nuestros propios dispositivos, ya que parecía que los camareros vecinos estaban en la mesa de al lado y tenían un servicio increíble y su comida se veía mucho mejor y tenía porciones mucho más grandes (afortunadamente) aunque pensamos que pedimos la mayoría de los mismos platos, nunca volveré y le insto a cualquiera a que vuelva a pensar en comer aquí.

Well this is primarily a ‘take away’ with a restaurant as an after thought. S few chairs and tables in s room.

I found the service terrible , as we had a waiter with a terrible attitude. The food was greasy, too salty and wasn't enjoyable to eat. I didn't sleep that night from constant vomiting and stomach cramps, so never again I'm afraid.

Awful in every experience and would have give 0 stars if I had the option.

Got overcharged and given the wrong order. Wouldn't normally leave a bad review as I work in a takeaway and it annoys me when people leave bad reviews without going direct to the restaurant first, but the minute I opened the bag I remembered that they tried to do exactly the same thing a couple of years ago and were really rude when I questioned them about the price. Wish I had remembered this before I went in again tonight!

Went here on spec one Saturday night. A nice wee restaurant with very attentive staff and reasonable food. Not a lot of atmosphere though.

I have been buying food from this restaurant for a long time. A few pints in Heraghtys tonight after work and I ordered Salt and Chilli ribs to take in the taxi home. When opened the box at home it was honestly about a third...

Me encontré con este sitio, no parece mucho desde fuera, pero nos quedamos gratamente sorprendidos. Personal atento y pleasing​ interior, y sobre todo buena comida (y bien de precio). Si estoy en la zona de nuevo volveré.

Pedimos una entrega el pasado fin de semana. Esperamos más de una hora, sólo para la comida llega fría piedra. Pudiera sostener las cajas metálicas en la palma de mi mano, apenas registrar cualquier calor.

This restaurant doesn't even deliver to my area,but I go there to get Chinese all the time. Food is great,never dry like a lot of Chinese takeaway can be...huge portions!!! Brilliant restaurant!!!

Been going to the Panda House for 10+years.Food is excellent can honestly say that I've never has a bad experience. Place owned and run by Damian, also Kevin's been there from the start. The honey chicken sesame starter great as is the salt and chilli chicken. Satay dishes as well as the seafood combination in a potato basket.

haven't been in this restaurant for a while, we had a large table booked no one else in the restaurant, staff as always really friendly and nothing is too much trouble.All of the food was lovely except the beef satay could not get my teeth through it, won't be ordering that again, the chicken satay was perfect as was the chicken balls and the crispy shredded beef.

A chinese student recommended panda house over 10 years ago and I've going ever since.I'm rarely disappointed. I wouldn't think about another Chinese restaurant in the southside. Portions are huge so it's very easy to overorder

Ordered roast chicken and salad expected it to be chicken breast with gravy and chips , but no I got a chicken salad which is cheaper but panda house quick to fix order for next meal with credit note , well done panda house

Well I ordered 2 and a half hours ago and its still not here.....it doesn't really matter if the food is good....if it ever arrives!

Panda house was our regular go to Chinese. Order was 30 min late, rang and was told would be 15 mins... came 1.5 hours late... food was lukewarm and no where near normal expected standard. Very disappointing indeed! Shame there's no option for zero star review!! }:-(

Food was amazing' fast delivery only thing was they forgot the chips!

Estimated delivery time got delayed by 10mins and then it arrived 15mins after that, but food was amazing so not too bothered.

Chow main was amazing as always, tofu in szechuan style sauce was also good but a bit too salty. The boiled rice was the best I had in ages, cooked to perfection

Definitely the best Chinese in the southside, a small restaurant on Pollokshaws Rd, the Panda House is great for sitting in or takeaway and they do home deliveries too. The food is always excellent as are the staff.

Food got here quicker then estimated time. However all the food was really cold, chips weren't cooked properly and the wontons were burnt. Unusual cause it's always usually so delicious from here. Maybe they were having a off night.

Food was horrible phoned up ask to give the food back for my money back as was cold staff were really cheeky and said nothing they can do wouldn't use this place stay well clear if you want soggy salt and chilli chips and rubber chicken that hasn't even been cut up I don't no how they have any reviews saying the food is good absolute laffable I could tell aslweel there not cleaning the woks as food was all greasy and salty the chicken chow main came it there was like a portion of black lard goo it was the wurst food I have eat and yet once the food is sent out and they have there money they couldn't care less lucky I didn't go down just want use again p.s good luck if you order food from here I gave them 24pounds best putting your money in the bin I made an order tonight from another place half the price and it was amazing..... Use Sam's Chinese there amazing giffnock.... Can't bealive how disgusting the food was need to sort that out and you shouldn't get cheeky with the customers keep it up anyways couldn't care less just lost Me as a customer i order takeaways every night anyways just extremely anoyed that I waisted 24pounds on this food and always tip I gave them an extra 3pounds wish I didn't give them any money for anything absolute horrible food good luck with the future and anybody ordering don't order try a different takeaway or one you regularly use because you will be extremely dissapointed

Was an hour and 30 minutes for delivery! Unacceptable!

They added 20 mins to original delivery time. Then i phoned 10 mins after expected time and they hadnt made it yet. Delivered in the end nearly an hour over estimated time (after they added on 20 mins). Over 2 hours for a delivery that is a 10 minute drive away is not great! Shame as food usually good.

I asked for the kung po WITHOUT batter. But again it came with, the third time this has happened. It was chicken but there was a bit of pork flung in it. Paid extra to get it hot and it was just regular. However the delivery time was very fast and the food was warm enough.

Panda House is also a restaurant that has been the South side of Glasgow for many years...food is absolutely delicious, and I can say this with conviction as I have tried all the surrounding takeaways, but none have reached the quality and flavour you get from Panda House.

Second time recently i've ordered from here and both times the order was incorrect and the quality poor. Used to be very good an consistent sadly no more.

We ordered our food at 19.45 and it was due to arrive at 20.55. When I rang at 21.20 to see where our food was, I was told that our order was just getting made now and that the roads were busy, which doesn't seem relevant to getting our food made on time. The food eventually arrived at 21.55, an hour late and over 2 hours after we ordered which is terrible. As usual, the food was very tasty but the overall experience was very disappointing.

1 hour and 45 mins late, ended up having to cancel the order..... NO FOOD and NO APOLOGY !!!!!!!!!
