Empire Chinese in West Dunbartonshire

Food is always good. Don't let a guy stand in the customer service area taking about his family issues and scratching his face constantly. Puts folk off their meal.

Always been a good takeway. Stuff missing from menu and understand the reason but the rest of the food disappointing. New management using cheap rubbish. Won’t be back

So ordered food from the empire Chinese at hardgate yesterday!!! And this is what I got!!!!! At first I was told it was just the marinade!!!!l no it's raw!!!!! So my order was £28 and they kindly refunded me the £8:80 for the lovely raw chicken

i use the Empire often and have never been dissapointed i would really recomend it is a take away p[ace so you cant sit in and the delivery is always lovely and warm and not long to come

Was disappointed with the order having ordered from Empire on previous occasions. Curry sauce more or less black and the chicken was like rubber. Satay sauce was bland (almost like it had been reused), and the beef looked like thinly sliced square sausage (not sure it was beef to be honest,woof) And the prawn crackers.......😔 my misses will be lucky I don’t start barking at her in the morning to take me for a pooh, or howling at the moon!! Woof

For sure this is the best Chinese takeaway in Clydebank. Always fresh and great meal. I highly recommend!

Use this chinese all the time. Food fantastic and decent portions and always tastes great and delivered in a reasonable time.....

We got a takeaway from here again as we go here occasionally. When we got home we realised that they had forgot to put part of our order in so we phoned and were asked to go back as order would take an hour but just told them to deliver. When it arrived they had given us a bag of prawn crackers for free and the guy was so apologetic it was so kind of them. We love the big portions you get as it does us two days. We would recommend the Empire for its good food and kind friendly staff also it is a very reasonable price. Thanks again

So, basically i moved from Aberdeen to Glasgow and could not find a Chinese take away that matched our local on Hardgate in Aberdeen. So, myself and my partner decided to go to a new Chinese take away on another Hardagte in hope it matched the one in Aberdeen. Our order was quickly delivered too the house and it was AMAZING!! Absolutely advise others to go here! Prices are great for the food you get. Try the salt and pepper chicken breast, its great!

A Chinese take-away i have used several times and will use again in the future. the service is very good and the staff are polite.. I am not fond of Chinese food as a rule but ialways find something to eat, my partner usually has a hot curry and enjoys it very much The delivery can be delayed on busy nights for obvious reasons.

Ordered takeaway from Empire after a few years of being away from Clydebank. It delivered on taste and portion size. Friendly staff and prompt delivery. No complaints

The place is nice has great food staff are great and polite and when phone delivery its fast so foods still realy good and hot and kids also live the place aswell

Every dish I have ordered have been delicious and always delivered pipping hot ....THE SALT &PEPPER CHIPS to die for they are a must try !!! Everyone I have told are addicted 👌👌

all food ive ordered has been 100% to my taste ive had chicken curry beef curry salt and pepper chips chicken fried rice barbecue spare ribs all delicious would recommend it

I have tasted better, it was ready in jig time however the end product was not a stir fry meal. The peppers and onions were pre-boiled the chicken not sure about some bits were tasty like chicken other larger pieces tasted more like duck to my tasted buds. the portion was big and the price reasonable , the staff on the counter were - no comment perhaps i am too critical of hardgate having being eating real Chinese cooking but sorry things will have to improve but will try again to see how things are

Usually get my take away from San Sui in Peterson Park but as it was shut this night I looked up Tripadvisor and picked here to get my take away. Ordered our usual chicken and beef curry no onions with extra curry sauces with onions and got free prawn crackers. Comments - crackers are enough to have for a meal for that night but we usually have ours over two nights so not enough but that is our choice and not the Empires fault. Curry sauce was a bit spicier than we are used to but again our choice but iwas nice enough. Again with the onions we didn't like them as much but again our choice because of what we are used to. The price is very good and the food arrived within half an hour and was very hot. My favourite is still the San Sui but if not availabl would use the Empire again.

Bought carry-out meals last night the portions were enormous but the quality of the food was very poor!!! The chicken curry was advertised as chicken breast but was processed rubbish with no texture the chicken and fried rice was the same. Will not be back. I was surprised to to see one of the other reviews which was marked as excellent was from the lady who served me, coincidence, don't think so.

Fantastic range of meals on offer from this takeaway. We had two chicken curries which had lovely flavours and spices. The chicken and broccoli is made in a soy sauce which was ok but not spectacular. The mini spring rolls are lovely as are the free chicken wings that you get if your order is over £18 as well the free prawn crackers.

I have never tasted better food than what you get from Empire Chinese Take Away situated at Hardgate Cross near Faifley in Clydebank. The portions are fantastic and would recommend it highly.

I am very fussy and don't really like Chinese food. However there is a good selection that I can have a little bit of along with the good old favourite omelette and chips. Itdoes say it's plain omelette however it isn't- it has onion in it but i can normally pick some without onion or just leave it on my plate. Sometimes the food isn't as warm as it should be however the staff are very nice and bring fresh stuff a.s.a.p. I also love the pineapple fritters you can ask for. Great for a reasonable priced late lunch.
