I really enjoyed eating here. The food was great

I go china buffet most times. I live in Dunoon but i travel all the way just to enjoy the atmospere, food and service. There are variety of food and very yummy.

paid for an unlimited refill which we never got. food was really good but the bathrooms were absolutely vile

Would never go again, place dirty - smelled like a toilet next to the buffet area, ordered unlimited drinks - got one, ordered another that never arrived after waiting 25mins and asking again. Went to pay and advised I would only pay for one drink as that's all we had. Then the man explained that he can't change the bill as that's what I ordered however I received only one drink so I will not br paying, he argued with me, made a scene! - called up the waiter who I ordered the second drink to ask if I had ordered another - he denied serving me/ what a laugh, I will never return to this dirty horrible place.

Used to absolutely love this place. My favourite buffet. Went today ordered food and unlimited drinks. We got 1 drink. When we asked a server for another, they said it wouldn't be long. 10 minutes later, I asked a different server for the same drink order again, we were told "right away" after explaining that we'd already asked someone else. 5mins later, my partner goes to the bar and asks for our drinks to be told to sit back down, and they'd be over with them now. Another 5 mins passed, and people who have ordered drinks after us have been given theirs. So, we thought forget it and let's go pay. I told the person who was at the till I only wanted to pay for signle drinks since we'd asked 3 times for our second drinks. He looked at me and said, "It's fine, it's not like it's much of a difference anyway." I couldn't care less about the difference and told him that 😂😂. Again, he told me, "Well, you should have come up to the bar and asked for your drinks." WE DID 😂😂. Some staff retraining wouldn't go a miss with your staff that interact with customers.

🤢words don’t describe how uncomfortable I felt here! Food was like Slodge and slime, I took one bite and immediately wanted to start crying and leave, even looking at reviews on pictures whilst going to write this I feel my stomach turning!!!! Staff were nice but food and the place in general, absolutely barking

Despite the smaller plates than in the past, still an ideal place to eat.

Has alot of options including salad and deserts. Staff are fast and friendly. Place is kept repelnished well and is clean.

Went with a few friends was amazing very friendly staff. I managed to complete the 10 plate challenge and receive an audience with the Last China Buffet King who was surprisingly down to earth and very funny

I love this Chinese! There egg fu young is amazing aswell as Singapore noodles, and bbq spare ribs 😇! I'm stuffed!!!! Great takeaway 💯%

Atmosphere, there wasn't any, just people eating food in silence. Could do with a bit of music playing in the background. The food was freshly cooked and quickly topped up when finished and plenty to choose from, overall lovely meal

My friend went here today and text me and said she has food poisoning and has been spewing her guts up all day would not recommend eating there.

Cold food and cold atmosphere went in just after it had opened. So can't understand why most of the hot dishes were not that hot in temperature. Good selection on offer, poor desert choices. Would I return probably not.

Great all you can eat for £12. Nice variety, including English dishes. Probably one of the best we've been to in a while. Coke cans and free refills. Staff very friendly

The service was good as well but this guy I think his name was Zach he looked 2 but had a beard he kept asking me for food once I gave him something he went to another table asking for food not sure why but it was cute. Hi everyone I think this buffet establishment is one of the best I have seen I myself eat a lot of food so I know my way around a buffet and take it from me the place does not disappoint the food is great and the people are greater The atmosphere is top notch I personally love this place would recommend. Not overly pleased with the restaurant, feel like it has went downhill over the years which is a shame as there is nothing like it in the centre. There was dishes that were cold and other people complaining about it while we were in. The staff seem to stand and stare due to it not being very busy which in itself is a little off putting but can't really do much else can they. I had some sesame chicken and it had a really bad taste of fish as did the pepper chips when I had no fish dishes at all, strange. The chicken curry was okay as were the egg fried rice dishes. But other than that not fantastic. Definitely the cheaper place in the centre to go for lunch so is attractive that way but otherwise wouldn't revisit anymore sadly

Friendly staff, great selection of dishes to try from starters through to dessert. Always a welcoming atmosphere when dining in and reasonably priced.

The food was delicious, very fresh and tasty. They were serving sushi, many plates of traditional Chinese food, cakes and ice creams. Staff were very kind and attentive with a sense of humour 🤗 lovely people! The ambience was simple but clean and tidy. Price for all you can eat was £16.50 pp. That was the first ever place which asked if we have NHS card. Places which usually accepting blue card don't bother if you have it or not. Overall we had a great time, we filled our bellys and pay low price. Definatelly will come back in there x

We went on my bithday had a great night the staff are nice & friendly we enjoyed the food, absolutly loved the puddings I had the chocolate cake &it was lush he had the Cheesecake & loved it, we will definetly be going back again!!!

Went here for my partners birthday with partner and his family. Super friendly service and a large variety of Chinese food, there was something for everyone here! Everyone else in my party got unlimited drinks, I thought it was nice how the drinks came in can form as opposed to from taps. Left full and happy. Food was amazing quality, one of the best buffets I’ve visited! I loved all the different ice creams for dessert. Clean and well kept place. Although pickles tasted a bit stale but not a huge issue. Would come back!

Large selection of food. Even Had sausages. Nuggets, pizza and other items for anyone that doesn't fancy Chinese food. Soft Drinks are unlimited even the cans are included. Really enjoyed the food.

Have went here for 5 years on or around the date of my daughter's birthday (her choice). What can I say ..it's actually pretty good. Food could be a lot hotter but selection is fantastic. Value for money ..yes. go on the afternoon eating .

Regular customers staff are always working hard to help provide service, great food at low cost prices. All you can eat no matter what day, good location for lunch or dinner during your activities.

The China Buffet King is a lovely place to visit, it's based inside the far end of XSite, Braehead, Glasgow. You have to queue up and then when there is a table avaialble you get taken there by the staff and then you can help yourself to their food, I thought it was a good range that meant there was something for everyone, the flavours were good and I loved the sushi section, the chcoloate fondue was lovely too. I do think it's best to visit in the afternoon because it's quieter than the evening when it is expected to be full no matter what day it is.

Food was okay , ice cream WASENT , it was warm and like mouse my dad was sick because of it , not good made us feel sick overall 2/10 WOULD NOT !!!! RECOMMEND COMING HERE !!!!

A bit disapointed Wasn't good at all... The food just tasted weird. All the dishes with sauce I tried was like it was filtered with water. Vegetable spring rolls and noodles tasted like it was gone off. Sushi wasn't great, was a bit hard. Swiss roll was hard and inedible. The cheesecake was okay but the biscuit at the bottom was hard and again inedible. However, the little mini Swiss roll was good, but this was the only good food that I had. I think the food was just lying out for way too long... The service was okay, just people doing their job. No hate towards them. I hope that this is helpful for the restaurant and that it can get better, cheers.

Went for lunch on a Saturday with my wife and 2 year old, £11.50 per adult for an all you can eat buffet with sushi, all the usual Chinese dishes and plenty for kids. Food was fresh and tasty, service was nice and deserves to be tried if you’re in the area!

Absolutely fantastic dining experience here this evening. Delicious food, very well cooked, excellent selection and great service. One of the best Chinese restaurants I have ever been to and I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

If I had a tagline for this China Buffet King, It would be that; TO THE HUNGRY, EVEN WHAT IS BITTER TASTES SWEET. I said that to say, This is just an ordinary unorganised eatery. They blame you for their own unprofessionalism and irresponsibility. If you are going here; Please Manage your expectations, if you expect better regarding many things, SORRY. It might excite those are very hungry, those whom their taste bud don't know any better, and those who don't mind better because of price & just want to settle for less. Personal experience: Wife was hungry and decided to go eat there, we didn't know we were meant to hang at the entrance and wait for someone to give a seat. We got a seat by ourselves and she alone took the starter and a bit of dried grain called rice, before we decided to leave. On going to make payment, the cashier wanted to charge for 2 persons, i told him it was my wife alone that ate. He started behaving funny, So I asked if he could verify using their CCTV to ascertain the authenticity of my claim. Next he said, "I am the Violent and aggressive one. Whoever employs anyone to for whatever reason verbally abuse a customer. Not nice. Agreed they don't have any hungry customer retention plan, they should train staff on workplace communication and conflict resolution management at through least. Never again, Its okay for me to pay for a food not Satisfying or delightful, I am happy to pay for an atmosphere not looking impeccable but I won't be found again in a place where I would pay for someone to freely verbally insult for a meal of not up to 50 pounds. If you want better i recommend COSMO.

The best Chinese buffet I've had in a while! All fresh food being served constantly. Lovely staff on hand to help and plenty of dishes to try! Worth the money

Having now been again since it was closed down for a while I can honestly say I likely not be back. Food was bland but plentiful, almost boring. Food was mostly warm and topped up regularly so no complaints there but it just really missed variety and flavourful dishes which is a real shame.

the workers kept staring at me and the people i was with while eating and made us so uncomfortable that we left after only eating 1 plate

Food was brilliant . Took about 15 minutes before getting our drinks which were ordered as soon as we sat down. It was very quiet. Emptiest I've seen it but usually busy and good atmosphere. Staff onto of game with topping up empty food trays.

Food is lovely. However, I have noticed the size of items, i.e., chicken balls have gotten dramatically smaller and prices higher.

Fabulous choice of food from salads, soup, sushi and hot starters. Ample different mains and sides followed by fruit, cakes, jelly and ice cream or a chocolate fountain for dessert options. All of which were replenished often and fresh. Superb value at £3 for bottomless soft drinks and £13.49 for the 5-7pm service. If you can't find something you like here then there is something wrong with YOU and not this place! A firm favorite when we visit Glasgow.

Great selection of food. Everything we tried was delicious especially the prawn toast and the cheesecake. Service was fab too. Will definitely be back.

The prices here are really good with a wide variety of food, the quality of food was also not too bad, however during my second visit during the summer there was some flies around the sushi area, and the pudding area isn’t always the cleanest (due to kids loving it) It’s a super causal atmosphere with a lot of families with young children and there’s definitely a lot of food options for fussy kids as well. Service wasn’t the worst very basic service. Sometimes we’d wait a while on drink refills (can replacements unlimited drinks are served as cans of juice) Overall it’s not a bad place to go to especially if you’re out shopping or at the arcades and there’s a lot of buses from Glasgow city centre straight to it so super easy to get to.

Went for family meal was lovely, food was very fresh and tasty.

Vile. Atmosphere of a morgue. Looked filthy, especially the toilets 🤮 lots of staff, but not very attentive. Food - over cooked or twice cooked chicken-was like trying to chomp through a shoe. Most items tasted freezer burned or off. Main dishes reeked of vinegar and were watery slop. Could only eat the obviously tinned fruit. As a care worker I resented paying premium for utter durge. Certainly won't be back

Huge choice of food, happy hour is best value for money 5pm - 7pm Monday to Friday.

Food did not get changed over quickly

Loads to choose from, such a variety of food, not just savoury, they have a great selection of sweet stuff too. The cheesecakes are great! The staff are very efficient and friendly.

the place had a damp sweet smell that completely threw us off, the tables were sticky aswell. the food was cold and lacked flavour and felt as if it made us feel sick, the atmosphere is very depressing but the head waiter was quite sound.

Went for a meal here on way home. The food was a hit or miss some food was hot and some selections were colder and must have been out for a while.A good selection of food but timing people on food let them down went in at 4 o'clock and had 1 hour to eat meal as tills are automatically set to charge you if you go over time we were 8 minutes over and got charged a extra 2 pounds per person. Surely they could charge you on entering and this would elevate people having to rush food. 🤔

Food (and range of choice) is excellent. Staff friendly without being obtrusive. Would suggest that if someone was planning to visit with more than one or two others, they book ahead - particularly at the weekend, as this is a popular (and therefore busy) place. Easter Monday visit, so very busy. Staff were swift and efficient - had a great day🌹

Place was freezing, charged full price for my grandaughters both under 11 but they are tall so they get charged full price 1 had soup and ice cream they other had fruit and a few things from my plate . Good value for adults but avoid with kids especially if they are blessed with tall genes .

In about 5:30pm and it was "happy hour" with just a mild splattering of folks in. Food was hot, tasty and plates were cleared in an efficient but not in an overtly in your face manner. Staff were polite, blended into background and were not overly officious. Good place to eat, good selection of foods for all tastes, fresh and hot. Great place to eat and hood value for money. .

Nice buffet food at good price and also helpful staff with good service

A beautiful, all you can eat buffet inside Xsite, Braehead. We came here for lunch and we throughly enjoyed it. There is a wide variety of Chinese food to choose from which is all hot and presented nicely. There is also a section with chips, chicken nuggets and pizza which is great if joker visiting with children or fussy eaters. There’s also little starters and soup to choose from as well as your regular Chinese dishes. The dessert section has a wide variety and the fruit is fresh. The staff are always on hand to help and to get you a refill on your drink if you need to. Very reasonably priced and parking is free. Will definitely be visiting again.

Have been many times before. Enjoyed our time there with the family. Went in the afternoon- prefer this time- quieter. Plenty of variety to choose from- all hot when eaten. ( good tip when at any buffet- stir the food about and take the food from the bottom- I was told this many years ago ). All food looked appetising and tasted good and all areas looked clean/ checked regularly by staff. Staff clearing tables regularly. A good place to go when we're back at Braehead shopping!

Favourite place, regular customer here and the management and staff are always the best! So friendly. Food is always warm, fresh and regularly put out. Can be a bit crowded sometimes, but that's just a buffet for you ☺️ For anyone who can get overwhelmed in these situations I'd recommend not going between 6 and 7.

Went on a Thursday about 7.30pm (which is the most expensive) and all the food was cold and stale. Looks like it's been out all day! Less than 20 people there at the peek. Been there many times before and always very good. Hopefully this was a one off

Great Chinese buffet wide selection of food which is topped up regularly. Only downside is the children's cost my granddaughter is only 11 years old but tall for her age charged full price height restrictions of 4 foot 5inches for children. Do not think that an 11 year old can eat as much as a grown adult..

BEST BUFFET EVER !! this is honestly the best buffet i have ever been to. i actually wish i could go here everyday. the staff are so nice and very quick and helpful. there is a giant selection of foods to choose from and the desert bit is amazing! i always like to watch out the window and look at the people skiing, it’s very cool and i really like this place.

Would avoid, not worth the money. Disappointment from the start never mind the inedible food.

Most dishes were near empty! Don’t get refills as server doesn’t come back after 1st drink! Kids running riot - had ice-cream all over the place, serving spoons were dirty! Too many customers not enough staff!

China buffet are the king's excellent range of food for everyone even if you are a picky eater like me, the dessert are amazing banana ice cream beautiful chocolate fountain is interesting what you can cover in chocolate lol the price cheap really good price and the staff very welcoming please come and try this wonderful place I will be back for more.

Food was shocking barely edible won't be back. On the plus side they did have a very good verity but it was all over cooked or been left out to long. Very disappointing.
