Delivery was a minimum wait of 55 mins ( order placed after 9pm) only order a rice dish, prawns were spongy and Mushroom foo yung, overcooked and seaweed in it wad either soggy or stalk. Was not worth the £27 90 . Worst meal we've had . Wouldn't eat from there again

Worst Chicken I’ve Ever Had – Absolutely Inedible! I can’t believe I’m writing this, but I just had the most appalling dish. I ordered what I thought would be a simple, tasty chicken dish (salt & pepper chicken), but what I got was borderline criminal. The chicken wasn’t just bad – it was old. You could taste it immediately, that unmistakable stale, almost sour flavor that tells you this chicken has been sitting far beyond its prime. It was dry, tough, and had a stringy texture that made each bite worse than the last. It’s a miracle I didn’t get food poisoning. It’s as if they’d dug this chicken out of the freezer from a decade ago, defrosted it in a microwave, and hoped nobody would notice. I noticed, and so will anyone unfortunate enough to order it. How this even left the kitchen is beyond me – do they not care about their customers’ health, let alone their taste buds? If you value your stomach (and your life), avoid the salt & pepper chicken at all costs. Actually, avoid this place

We hadn't made a reservation but arrived just after 5p.m and were warmly greeted, and even at that time there were several diners already tucking in! After being presented with 3 different possibilities to order our food we opted for the £24.95 all you can eat buffet. The waitress was very patient with us as we decided what to eat and pointed out that we could order more dishes later on if we liked. The food was delicious and tasted very fresh. As the vegetarian of the group, my favourite dish was the stir fried vegetables with cashew nuts, but my fellow meat eaters were also happy to include some vegetarian dishes in our banquet, so I also enjoyed vegetable spring rolls etc. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Restaurant was clean, inviting and nicely decorated. Staff were attentive and friendly and accommodating when we asked to move to a quieter part of the restaurant away from a table of screaming kids. The ordering process was simple to use on the app and food was unlimited and delivered quickly by a quirky robot. However the food was very disappointing and bland. We tried a range of dishes and didn't enjoy any, they were edible but not tasty and were very small. Everything was super processed, oily and not worth the £30 per person. The Veg noodles had no Veg except a few onions and bean sprouts. Dessert was also disappointing, ice cream was icy in the middle and cheesecake had a strange texture.

What a lovely experience! I booked a table for 10 people on a Monday night for a family birthday celebration. We opted for the all you can eat menu in order to be able to try a few different dishes. The staff were amazing, so helpful, friendly and efficient. The owner was very attentive, checking everything was ok and laughing and joking with us. The food was delicious and plenty of it. We didn't order more as we couldn't even manage the initial food served, for this we were offered boxes to be able to take what was left home, so I now have tonight's meal sorted.....the gift that keeps giving! I would highly recommend The Ruby restaurant and we will definitely be back soon :-)

The food was mediocre greasy and bland was very dissapointed we were a party of 4 the bill came to over 200.00 which included some drinks , split 4 ways I personally paid 55.00 for some greasy veg spring rolls and some tasteless veg vermicelli thank god for soy sauce , but the worse thing for me were the toilets omg probs the most dirtiest I’ve ever been in 🤦♀️was horrified I’m surprised they keep busy , the place needs a full refurb , so dated and looks like it hasn’t been decorated in over 20 years I certainly will not be going back 😳

I recently visited for both lunch and dinner, and while both experiences were enjoyable, lunch stood out as the better deal. The dim sum during lunch was simply phenomenal—delicately crafted and bursting with flavor. The variety and freshness truly impressed me, making it a must-try. Dinner, while still good, didn’t quite match the magic of the lunch experience. The food was well-prepared, but lacked the wow factor of the dim sum offerings. If you're choosing between the two, lunch with dim sum offers the best value and experience.

Restaurant is always empty. Precovid very busy daily, quality was very good. Quality does not justify the cost now. Barbecue pork...tough and inedible. Crispy pork was all fat, any meat was tough. Noodles.....greasy. Sauce is watery and not tasty. So sad.
