Arrived to the restaurant at 20:30, an hour before it closes at 21:30. After speaking to the lady at the reception who's explaining to us they'll start cleaning up at 21:15 which only leaves us 45 minutes to eat we decided to sit in. What a mistake... Teppanyaki was already closing. After sitting down with a plate a food (at 20:45) a waiter suggested to take some more food because they start taking them away. Load a staff members stormed out trying to save some food for themself filling their bags and so on basically taking everything away from us. The hole place was cleaned up by 21:00. I felt like we're put under pressure so they can walk out the door bang on at 21:30. Terrible experience espacially with kids who aren't used to eat their dinner fast. Couldn't enjoy any part of it and definitely didn't worth £20/person. Wouldn't recommend it at all.

Arrived 15 minutes early to a booking made online. Payment taken for food on arrival as flat rate depending on day and time. Quickly shown to our table. Would have been nice to see if we had been before and if not explain how to order drinks - you go to a bar and pay for your drinks. Food was really nice with an excellent selection of everything on website. Most things filled up regularly and hot. On the down side the area where we were sitting quietened down so the staff start wiping tables down, and actually moving and stacking chairs whilst moping the floor. The restaurant was open for another 2 hours after we left! My son was told by a member of staff that he would have to go round the long way when he returned from the toilet. Such a shame as everything else was so good.

My friend and I have been here a few times with no issues. On this occasion we had paid our money but then a lot of the food was taken away without warning and somde of the food was cold. We really didn't get our monies worth. We had staff standing by waiting to clear away our plates with 40 mins left till closing. When my friend approached a member of the team to ask why no apologies were made. Unfortunately will not be returning as this made us feel very uncomfortable and rushed.

Visited for a buffet on a Sunday and it was around £21 per person. The décor is really nice and the different food stations looked dazzling though we didn’t open all the lids of the hot dishes to see what was available. You pay upon entry and then get your drink at the bar separately. Staff were generally pleasant. The restaurant seemed really clean and staff were working hard to clear tables and clean up after guests had left, which was good. There were a variety of cuisines on offer, from South Asian curries, to Thai and Chinese, as well as Western food, such as brisket, and pizzas. The salad bar had some unusual items such as aubergine and peppers, and also a squid salad, and prawns. There was quite a lot of seafood on offer in the hot food section, which was a nice surprise – mussels and prawns in the South East Asian section, as well as whole roasted salmon in the Western section. The salmon was the best thing on offer, and worth a trip just to have it! There were a couple of soups available (tom yum and chicken and sweetcorn), but not sure we spotted any bowls! There was a teppanyaki station where you could pick veg and noodles with seafood or meat to be cooked on the spot (think you could only pick 2 of the meat/ seafood). We had some prawns and two pieces of salmon. It wasn’t bad but the chef put a bit too much soya sauce and the veg were overcooked and soggy as they were cooked with the prawns. In terms of the quality of the food, it was pretty average (such as the curries eg the lamb curry wasn’t tender as expected) though better than some other buffets we have visited. The standout dishes, other than the roasted salmon were: • the seekh kebab which had a really nice, smoky flavour to it. • the crème brulee and apple crumble with custard which were very tasty and comforting. The dishes to avoid include: • a ‘fish fillet’ which tasted like really dry and hard chicken breast • all the different variations of fried chicken dishes we tried from the starters section, which were hard & dry • naan which was way too thick • tofu dishes as the tofu was hard and chewy • ice cream in tubs which were bland and did not taste creamy Overall, we enjoyed our meal at the buffet and wouldn’t hesitate to return in future!

Terrible from the start this restaurant has two sittings, lunch & dinner, we opted for the 5.00pm slot a huge queue formed outside but thankfully we booked our table to avoid the hassle, the restaurant is quite big , and seem to be able to handle the influx of customers, as for the food you have to hunt down a plate or bowl then form a queue for lukewarm average tasting food I didn’t notice any other food except Chinese or pizza as for the sweet section with its chocolate fountain it’s a mess bordering on unhygienic , we attempted the teppanyaki the server was just down right rude , he barks at you to choose your food for him to prep/ serve when we challenged him about his attitude he tried to wave us away, I spoke to a supervisor regarding his attitude and he offered me a free drink ( one only) a bit of haggling later and all three received a free drink, to be fair all the food is changed frequently and the pizza did look nice on appearance, the staff on the restaurant floor were helpful although slightly disheveled in appearance, Would I go again ? No would I recommend it ? No

Big choice of food but most of it was bland or undercooked. The sauces were thin and oily. They didn’t seem to replenish items during the lunch service so you had to be quick. The amount of food wasted by other diners was eye watering, can’t be helped by the staff but they really should enforce a waste charge. More control needed on kids being allowed to wander round and help themselves too, saw some using the same spoon for multiple dishes and picking things up with their fingers. Drinks are extra and were expensive. Also discovered since leaving their hygiene rating is a 1…. Explains the questionable hygiene practices we saw.

Tastefully decorated and clean. Teppanyaki was good, tried with king prawns and salmon. Other dishes were not great: - Shredded duck/pork was very dry (to go with pancakes and hoysin) - idem for the lamb skewer and chicken tikka. Food-in-sauce faired better Desserts are to be given a miss - cheap mass produced. Bill for two of us came to £45. 20 pp for the food and 2.50 pp for a Pepsi. Certainly nothing to rave about but also didn’t deserve to be slammed. We’ll avoid buffets like these in the future.

If you want tasteless bland food, this is the place for you. Nothing has flavour. I’m always sceptical about buffets and was reluctant to go but my friends wanted to go here. £19.50 for canteen food is shocking. Drinks you have to pay for separately. Wouldn’t return.

I was yesterday Tuesday with my granddaughter in this restaurant for the first time, and everything was very good, the food was great, the atmosphere very good. The only bad thing was the service I received from the woman at the bar, she served us in a very bad way. We mentioned it to the Indian man who was at the table talking to his friends and he didn't do anything about it, he just smiled and said sorry.

They wouldn't let us pay for him, refused another human being a simple right to a meal. We even said he could sit at our table with us and they refused.... Disgusting behaviour! Turned a homless man away even after we had paid for him to get a warm meal inside him. He looked like he hadnt eaten in days, and he was so polite. We asked if we could pay for him to take a meal out with him. They refused. We asked if we could pay for a meal for him to sit with us and eat. But again they refused. They were happy enough to take our money thou and turned the man back out on the streets. I am absaloutly shocked at their lack of humanity and will not be giving them another penny. Had some noodles beef then got some sat & pepper prawns noticed the shell still on I don’t like that but then shell off noticed it not been de vaind .left there poo in disgusted for a place of that size and can’t be bothered to clean prawns makes me wonder what they are doing with all of their food never again

We went for a family birthday meal with an age range from 10 months to 70 years there were 8 in total so we pre booked ( advisable as it can get very busy at lunchtime) . There is a very good selection of dishes both oriental and european so everyone was happy.The 1 drawback is that there is no table service for drinks you have to go to the bar.

I visited on Friday, not expecting much tbh but was very pleasantly surprised. By far the best buffet restaurant I’ve been too. It is nicely appointed inside rather that the usual ‘cafe experience’ most of these places offer. However the biggest surprise was the food, what we ate we both thought was excellent. All fresh because the place is so well patronised the food is constantly being renewed.A pleasant experience & if i revisit Liverpool I’d happily return.

Busy place heaving with people, very cheap place to eat.Plenty of choices, however some dishes are best to avoid as this place seem to adopt the procedure of " pile it high and sell it cheap" method. Chinese cuisine there is quite nice but all the other dishes were poor, not actually that much selection and the dessert section should be avoided due to kids helping themselves and fingering the food, for the price not worth it and also on the way home mine and my sisters stomach started hurting which I assume was down to the food.

We asked on phone to book a table near buffet as we had a wheelchair user with us, whilst on the phone we where told that we could bring are own alcohol and birthday cake which they would serve.when we got there we where on a table furthest away from buffet, we where told that whilst we could bring our alcohol we where not allowed to drink it !!!The cake was left behind the bar as instructed and told to just ask when we wanted it. When we asked for the cake, this caused a problem as they then said that they should have had more notice. We had to take the cake away with us.

This used to be my goto spot when it first opened. It rivaled the smaller casinos in Las Vegas.A downhill dive into a bin is where this restaurant belongs now. Warm soda and lukewarm beer, food with no flavor and lots of fatty meats. The "who cares" sloppy attitude and service of the grill guys. Everything has changed here. The desserts are always in short supply if not unavailable. You may wait an eternity to see anything replenished if ever.The floor managers give 0 sh1tz to what you ask them for and are happy in verbally telling you so. And then they stand from afar with employees just staring at you. Uh, sorry I paid this much for so little?Very overpriced and underwhelming.

I went eating there Monday 3rd of January. The bathroom was dirty, the staff wasn't enough and they were running everywhere so I had to put my dishes by myself in the trolley because the staff members were busy af. Its really a shame because this place was better I the past but now the standards really dropped down. I asked for the noodles and the chef was touching his hair while preparing my food!! Disgusting!! All of the desserts were frozen, the corn soup tasted like wc water!! They should test this place for sanitary reasons because I was astonished by the lack of cleaning. And someone, I think the manager because she had different clothes than her staff, was disrespectful and answering with a grumpy tone. Never going again!! 15£ for absolutely low service and quality...

My family and I came for a meal on 27/12/21. When we came to the city centre we wanted to get a bite to eat and we came across bon pan Asian. The restaurant is very clean and tidy. All staff wear face coverings. They offer to remove any unwanted plates, glasses and bottles off your table. Staff are really friendly, and help you if needed. My family and I had 2 lovely people helping us with our table i am not sure if the name was progress and Stephen. But they was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. As for the drinks we heard other customers say they do refillable glasses of coke and tango and as we went up to the bar to order they told us they don’t do them no more and when we asked why they didn’t answer us, which is not a problem but it would be nice if they had a little but of communication with us. As for the food, their is an amazing variety of food to choose from, from pizzas, to curry’s, to salt and pepper. I would definitely return with my family again.

I really can't fault this place to much, the food variety was superb, fresh tasty and plentiful.Our party consisted of 4 adults and 5 children from aged, 5 to 14 and they lovef the fact they could pick what t they liked and able to try foods they weren't shure about too.I have to compliment BON on the drink prices, £3.50 for a pint and £2 for soft drinks are excellent compared with some restaurants charging £5 for similar.As for the staff this was variable , the tables clearing staff were fun with a great sence of humour and we had great interaction with them, bar staff were a little techy and the Chinese guy on the bar till was such a miserable get , thowing money in to it without registering it in. Probably makes the book keeping easier? Front of house, reception staff appeared really stressed, no idea why? But they weren't the politest I've come across and the place had only been open 45mins! So apart from some staff, who really should get a grip and remember what they are there for and paid for too. I would give it BON, 5 stars but some of the staff really need a shakeup. Here's an idea. Put the Front of house and bar staff on clearing tables and the table clearers,man front of house and the bar as their personalities were so much better. I will go again as I enjoyed the food and experience and hopefully the BON management's will do some in house training and remind the staff what they are employed for and when they meet the public they are all on stage and people will remember the bad things rather than the good.

I emailed this company just days ago I’m still waiting for a reply off them it was disgusting this service this was my email to the head office in LiverpoolTo whom it concerns My name is Mike, I arrived the other day 7th December to your buffet restaurant in Liverpool to enjoy a meal with a friend I have been to your restaurant before there and I really really enjoyed it! However on this particular night I was absolutely appalled at the sheer lack of respect and customer service in your establishment as I walked in through your door it was an absolute disgrace !! I will add I will never step foot into any of your buffet businesses again. Not only was I insulted I was made to feel robbed and used and I never want to experience anything like I did that night again! I want to make you aware that if you continue to be like this to your customers your reputation will be one that might not ever recover!! Therefore I will proceed to go into detail into what I experienced. I will say I have never experienced anything like this before. When myself and my friend approached the counter where you take the money before service. The attendant who greeted me grumbled and literally barked ‘£14.50!’ I was taken a back I again asked the attendant again how much it was just to make sure that it was his attitude and it wasn’t just me imagining it. And the answer I got was obviously the first!! ‘Can’t you see mate? Look at the bloody screen on the card machine I mean bloody hell!’ I couldn’t believe my ears, my friend picked up on the man and his sheer rudeness and later told me that it wasn’t just me and that instinctively put him off too. When we got to our table I was already insulted by one member of your staff and feeling perplexed but I later found my dining experience rushed. I went to collect a drink in the bar area and a woman just shouted ‘NEXT’ I stepped in line and said what I wanted, I have autism and I struggle sometimes. I ordered my drink and proceeded to pay she got very flushed and became red in the face ‘It’s contactless! Just tap!’ so I did, it was saying enter pin ‘come on mate I don’t have all day chip and pin come on!!’ At the end of the night I came home I was in front of my wife and I explained everything. She was mortified and explained that I must email to complain. So that is what I am doing.There is absolutely no excuse for what I experienced here. It has put me right off Bon Restaurants in general and I cannot express enough that what I experienced was horrific, I believe if this email gets into the right hands perhaps the main manager they can give me a reply to this message or give me a ring.Kind regards Michael

Arrived to que in the freezing cold and wasn’t too impressed from the get go. A nice looking place but the hygiene standards are appalling - talk about the epicentre of COVID. Remember when the rates in Liverpool were so high , this restaurant alone is to blame for the whole pandemic. Prawns = Cardboard and the stay to the left rule may as-well not even have been mentioned as no one enforced it. If you’re a firm believer in letting your kids play with food then this place is certainly for you ! Saw kids playing in the ice cream like feral rats and the chocolate fountain is certainly a free for all. For a “refined” buffet ive been left disgusted , sick and questioning how sober was I when i said lets go to Bon Pan Asian.

My daughter and her friends visited on the 11th december for her 16th birthday,travelled from wirral and was refused entry as none of them were over 18. Now ive searched the website and facebook page and can't find anywhere that says you have to be with an adult to eat!!! I think it's disgusting that in this day and age that you would turn away 4 girls who just wanted to have a birthday meal!!!

Its is a few years since we last visited the Bon pan Asian Buffet and as we were having a few drinks in that area we thought we would call.We arrived at the restaurant at 745pm but there was still a good variety of food on offer all for the price of £14.99 the restaurant must be doing something right as it was very busy mainly with young people.We will come back in the future.

The worst food in existence, cold, watery food. The duck isn’t duck, raw chicken and I can’t explain the steak was. I have never ever had food as bad as that. We went as a family for Christmas and all struggled to find anything to eat. Even the chicken and sweetcorn soup was just yellow neon water. The men making stir fry in the middle we’re watching videos on their phone and scratching their beard and hair before touching the food. Do not eat here.

During our visit we saw a man lick the serving spoon of a dessert (Eton mess), laugh to his friend and put the spoon back into the dessert. I immediately addressed this with the ‘man’ and immediately reported this to a waitress. After repeatedly telling her she eventually changed the spoon but left the dessert for anyone to eat. I reported it to a different waiter and pointed the ‘man’ out to him and nothing was done… the dessert was left out for the diners! This was very unfortunate because the food was ok however we will never return! Extremely unhygienic especially in COVID times. AVOID.

Lots to choose from and good price for lunch but the food was average. They were cold too even if we were there as soon as it opened. We walked 2 miles to try this buffet restaurant which clearly stated closed at 9.30pm. On arrival at 8.30pm we were told. “We are closed”On asking why. (Even though the restaurant was 3/4 full) “we decided to close earl as we weren’t busy”. Good way to run a business. Normally this road leads to failure. We had been here once before,pre pandemic,fancying a trip to Liverpool & something different to the usual pub lunch we thought we would give it another try.Arriving at about 1215hrs the place was quite busy but,like the City Centre in general,we have seen it busier.After paying the £8.99pp at the door we were shown to our table.The staff here are very efficient,empty plates are cleared very quickly & vacated tables are cleared,cleaned & ready for use remarkably quickly.There was a good selection,hot & cold,sweet & savoury available & staff worked hard at keeping things topped up.Everything we had we enjoyed,in particular the Pork stir fry,mushroom stir fry & Fried Egg were excellent.Hand sanitizer was readily available,signs asked people to wear masks while moving around although few did.One gripe was that there was no low alcohol or alcohol free beer available.Overall really good value for money.

We arrived as a group of 10 on Saturday 20th November 2021. We had an unexpected situation arise within the large group however, the Manager and his team looked at the situation independently and made our whole experience the best he could have done. The food was fresh and everyone has seconds of mains and desserts. The food preparation areas were always clean and dirty dishes were taken away very quickly. I have to say a great thank to the Manager and his team.We will certainly be returning when we are next in the area.

Ive eaten here twice now, in a matter of weeks.There is always a queue of fifty + people at 17:15 waiting for the place to open at 17:30. However the queue disappears quickly .Once inside you are treated to a full experience of smells from all corners of the globe,What ever you fancyIndian,ThaiChineseEnglishVegetarianItalianetcFor less than £30.00 you really cannot complain.even with a 2 hours stay limit in the evening it is splendid. food is excellent and dare i say it- fun. mix it up pizza and curry sauce. thai and chips.and lets not mention the desserts. WOW. so much choice and colour, tastes and smell.Love it.Every trip overnight to Liverpool always ends here from now on.Would i eat here again. Oh yes... every time in Liverpool.

My mum is half Chinese so when we saw quite a few Chinese customers we assumed the food must be good. How wrong. I actually spat the prawn toast out it was disgusting. There was not a prawn in sight, it was basically deep fried bread with sesame seeds sprinkled on, fried in a terrible tasting oil. The duck for the pancakes, I’m not even sure it was meat. Neither of us could eat it it was that bad and I had to spit a lot of meat out into my napkin, just gristle. The only good food was the cakes, as these had come from a box. Needless to say we won’t be returning. I would never feed this food to my kids!

If you decide to go to this particular restaurant make sure you speak very slowly and clearly to the staff otherwise they will completely ignore you. I have eaten there on another occasion and found I had to stand around for trays to be filled. Itis a pity that the resteraunt is being let down by its staff as I would imagine it would be a nice experience eating there. But when you are being completely blaitenly ignored I asked for a refund before I had even eaten in there this time. Will not be attempting to try eat there again which is a shame.

On our Royal Caribbean Britain Cruise we were told to visit this Restuarant near Lime Street Sation .After completing the Beatles tour through the lanes visiting the sites of the magnificent group and walking in their foot prints we decided on lunch in the Bon Pan Asian Restuarant recommended by our Son .Although after 1.30 the eatery was very busy but we were shown to a table for 2 ,only mistake we made table not big enough for dishes and our wine .The selections were plentiful and fresh and areas we very clean and continually kept stocked The food was delicious and even though I visited food area twice I stilll kept seein areas I’d missed ..We were recommended and I would recommend this Restuarant but be hungry and pick a bigger table and just enjoy it is truly worth a visit and very reasonably priced ..enjoy

Lovely restaurant which looks quite new. Nice decor and I thought the price for the food was good. You had to buy drinks separately. We had a beer and a cider which came to £7.98.There was a variety of food which was quite tasty. I really enjoyed the food that was made at one of the food stations were I chose noodles, pac choi, prawns, salmon and a few bean sprouts. He added chilli and soy which enhanced the flavours. The salad section looked really fresh and inviting. The food included Chinese, Indian,British food, salads and 2 cooking stations. there is a big variety of desert items. The children loved it.

Came here for lunch. Very good value for money (£8.99 per person if I remember correctly), and plenty of choice including Indian, Chinese and Thai cuisine. There is also a station with a chef making omelettes or similar, but we did not try this on this occasion. The crispy noodles and salt and pepper chicken were absolutely gorgeous, as was the sweet and sour and the curry. Everything is nicely spaced out and well organised, making it easy to navigate. We did not have dessert, but they looked lovely. It’s a shame the refillable soft drink station is no longer available, but understandable given the current covid situation. Overall I highly recommend this restaurant and would return soon!

A very enjoyable asian buffet. We used to love this style of restaurant but had got bored with them, but just fancied a selection of small bites.Quite often we find the starters are much better than the mains but at Bon they were both high quality.There was an extensive selection and it is hard to identify favourites - we’d go for the fried mushrooms and salt and pepper chicken.I’d filled up on my first 2 visits to the buffet so didn’t sample the desserts but my wife said they were lovely.Definitely worth the £15 each

We have visited this Bon Pan a few times in the past and have always enjoyed our visit.This visit was a birthday treat for our two grandsons aged 9 & 11.We had pre booked but before we paid they made our eldest grandson stand against a height chart. He was 1cm above the line so we had to pay adult price for him. Hubby and I agreed there must be a fairer system based on age etc as no way was he going to to eat as much as a grown man!We went to our table, hubby went to the bar to get drinks and then we proceeded to select our food. As we went around we noticed there were many empty foods trays in need of replenishing, we also noticed that a lot of the trays had loads of veg/rice/basic (cheap) foodstuffs,so we got what we could.As is normal practice in a buffet restaurant, we went back up to try some other foods; yet again we noticed that the same food trays were still empty! Not impressed!As the boys had been before, they knew where to go to refill their drinks so off they went.Two very glum faces returned as it seems that element had been removed, so hubby back to the bar to buy more drinks-not impressed yet again!We appreciate that restaurants have had a tough time through the pandemic but to change a format that loyal diners are accustomed to in an attempt to up the takings seems very unfair. It was a ‘grown up’ thing for our grandsons to be able to get their own drinks, the money saved by the restaurant by removing this facility must be negligible?Added to this the hike in the general price, the unfairness of charge for children plus the overall lack of selection means we will not be returning.We will try other restaurants in future that hopefully won’t be so blatant in trying to fleece diners!

Wow. Just wow. Quite possibly the worst buffet I’ve ever eaten. Absolutely everything tasted awful. Even the soy sauce tasted like vinegar!!I tried three plates, broken down into starters, mains and desserts. Literally everything got slightly nibbled and then left. I honestly cannot even fathom why this place is so busy. Yes it’s cheap but it seems like they have gone out and sourced the cheapest food they can find and then just warmed it up. Who even leaves the shell on king prawns and then deep fries them?? Total madness!!

Really disappointed visiting this place today, big fan of Chinese buffets and normally they are great. Good points, the decor is lovely and the place is really clean and looks great, sadly that's where the good points cease. Overall good selection of food, but only one soup on which was sweetcorn, no hot n sour etc. Food was bland, tasteless and a little mystery meat instead of clearly identifiable meat such as chicken, mushy tasteless rubbish. Foods that absolutely should not be bland, salt n pepper chicken....just mush in batter....not a chilli or pepper to be seen. Chicken satay tough batter with a hint of chicken that tasted of popery, no nuts or sauce in sight. Beef in blackbean was the highlight of the visit, nice beef in a rich tasty sauce. Had really high hopes for this place and went with a friend on my recommendation based on the large extensive menu and hearsay. Sadly would not return

It’s a lovely place to eat but be mindful that if your a large party booking that they require a deposit of £5 per person which is fine, except they don’t take the payment over the phone. This can be troublesome if you don’t live nearby. Our party was 13 people. We live in another town 40 mins away. Might be beneficial if the company look into taking booking deposits over the phone too. Overall though, it’s a nice place to visit.

We really love Bon pas Asia so whilst in Liverpool we decided to come here. We were greeted at reception who took our payment and then never said anything after . We stood waiting to be told where to go as this was unclear for her to just throw her hands towards the restaurant which I thought was rude. The next man seated us and didn’t say a word which again was rude. The bar staff were nice. We then proceeded to get some food. All of it was cold and the chicken wasn’t cooked very well. We told a member of staff and he went to the manager who said it’s probably because the lids are left open. When I went up to get the food previously none of them were open. And that was the end of that. So we just skipped the food and went to desserts and this wasn’t much better. There was hardly anything there. We then got told it was closing in 15 minutes. Therefore the food was probably cold because it’s not fresh. Was amazed by how rude the staff but there was one lovely member of staff the young scouse man he was very polite and did try and help but seems that the management isn’t very good. The only good thing about this places are the refillable drinks. Won’t be coming back!

At first, we were a bit sceptical because we tried to book online and it wasn’t working, so we thought we’d turn up at 5:30pm when it reopens for the evening. We turned up just before 5:30pm and there was a queue of about 50 people. We waited in the queue and got in about 15 minutes later. You pay straight away and once you’ve got your table you go to the bar for your drinks.The variety of food was amazing. Only downside was is that we were hoping for sushi and there wasn’t any, but it wasn’t a big deal. The desserts were also really good, too! We had a ticket to say we had to leave our table for 7:30pm, but we were gone by 7pm.It’s definitely worth the money!

We booked online and arrived in good time to find people queuing outside the door, took a quick look to see if we could go to the front of the line if booked in - there was no notice to that effect so joined back of queue, the family party in front of us had also booked. When we eventually got to the front desk we were told we could have come straight in - surely a note to that effect is not beyond their capabilities. Front of house staff were brusque to the point of rudeness. The restaurant is decorated well and the food was fine with plenty of choices. The cashier at the bar was also rude and snatched the cash from my hand with barely a thankyou. With the one exception of a girl behind the bar who was friendly the other staff were diffident and most appeared not to want to be there, disappointing visit, we won't be back.

Seen the queues so decided to try for myself. Basically average chippy food with a few Indian dishes that weren't nice and a few pizzas to choose from. Soup was like water no taste and they don't serve sui mais (I went at lunch time so maybe they do later when you pay more). The noodles were nice and the sweet and sour chicken and beef in blackbean. Nothing to rave about and I defo wouldn't stand in a queue for it.

Came on a Monday lunchtime and was told that there was a 20 mins wait when we first came so we thought just come back in bit, but there was still a 15 mins wait then too as of course more people had come in and waiting. I wouldnt leave it too near the end of service as we did notice that some people came in not long before we were told had 15 mins to go and get any food we wanted. But we were onto sweet by then anyway so it was fine but I thought the people who hadnt that long come in would struggle to get stuff. The drinks are extra and you just go to the bar but you can ask for a refill for soft drinks and you just get a glass and then help yourself to the soft drinks.There are salads and chinese and indian and freshly cooked pizza (salami and cheese & tomato only when we went), they also do freshly cooked noodles which I think you could add bits to it and give to them to cook with the noodles (neither of us had any but that is what it looked like). There are things like chicken nuggets and bits like that, so quite a selection and then a good selection of puddings, being gateauxs and fruit and ice cream and actual sweets. From understanding they have more things in the evening including a chocolate fountain but of course you pay more for the evening session.

Going to watch a show at the empire yesterday we called in here at 3.00pm, WOW absolutely amazing choice of food, something for everyone’s taste, king prawns, ribs, curries, Chinese favourites eg sweet and sour chicken, noodles, tofu, too many to mention, salads, prawn mayonnaise, all kinds of veg, Nan breads, corn, roast beef, salmon, Yorkshire puds, I could go on and on, and the desserts are fantastic, the only thing to roll your eyes at is the amount of food wasted by people piling their plates sky high then leaving loads, then going filling up again, best thing try lots but just a mouthful then if you luv it go and get some more. This is defo my port of call next time in Beatle city.

First time visit to Pan Asian in Liverpool. We really didn’t know what to expect. Overall I would say it’s the worst dining experience I have ever had. However, it’s is by no means the quality of the food or the service from the staff. The food it self was good with lots of choice. The staff were organised pleasant and a credit to the restaurant. The biggest problem was the rest of the guests in the place when we were there. This is a buffet style restaurant and I witnessed people using their hands to pick up food ignoring the utensils provided. This included using their hands to pick up noodles and put on their plates. I also say guests walking around the buffet and picking up food with their hands and eating as they walked around then picking something else up eating telling their child that this way she didn’t need to bring her plate. There was also people pushing passed people knocking in to others carrying plates of food. It was chaotic and considering we are still in the middle of a global pandemic there was people coughing all over people and no masks in sight. As stated above if it wasn’t for the other customers this would be a good place to eat. However, I won’t be going back.

If I had thought to review this restaurant when it first opened, i would have sung it's praises for the food, service and value for money. However, i believe this restaurant has suffered with the lock down because I went today and while the service was the same friendly and helpful service from the start the food was significantly poorer in quality and quantity which isn't worth the money, the only stand out was the noodles that was cooked in front of me fresh and well. As much as I wish I could say differently, it has stood the rigor of time and the challenges posed by the pandemic well. Hopefully it's will improve as the restrictions reman minimal to non-exist for a long period of time.

This is not the place it used to be. You prepay for food and drinks and it is not cheap or reasonable pricing by any standard. The servers look bored and do not speak to you They will not discuss the food at all.The food. The Indian food is just color, water and poor quality meat. The sauces are bright pink or orange and flavorless. The soups in the Asian area are just water and flavorless. Half the drinks were unavailable and the selection is meagre to start. Orange, papsi max and sprite. The Teppanyaki grill meat is lower than dog food quality. Try for yourself or better yet, just throw your money in a local sewer it is the same experience.

First of all, I asked if they had any spare masks for my fiance whose mask had just broken. I was told there would be a 50p charge?? Find these ridiculous really when we were about to spend £40 there. We turned up at 8.15, having checked that the restaurant closes at 10pm. The lady at reception informed me that they were going to close early that day and stop serving food at 9.15 and close at 9.30 - why? Because it wasn't busy enough apparently. No offer to reduce the price of admission given that we would have had a short time frame to eat dinner. Really not impressed with this service. I don't understand the logic of turning away money because you fancy closing half an hour earlier. We had specifically come into town to go to Bon and we had made sure to check closing times beforehand, so you've really wasted our time.

I was put off a bit by some of the recent reviews on here but i found that the vast majority of the food was very nice. I was disappointed that while we were queing insude there were people in front of us just holding their masks or with them in their chins. When they were paying on entry the staff said nothing to them about it! There is a one way system in operation fir getting foid but a lot if people simply ignored this. You have to wear a mask when getting food and you were also given disposable gloves to wear. You now have to pay for drinks on entry . It was a but expensive for what it was but we did enjoy it.

Good afternoon We visited restaurant on monday and we booked a week before our visit 2 tables for 9 people. Firstly my auntie has terminal cancer and your staff was advised right from the start about her we had a wheel chair she was forced to wear a face mask by the girl standing by the food and she shouted towards us. She said something about table service which we was not told about or we would of happily used that service. All we was told about was the drinks. My little sister is also advised about not wearing a mask she told the girl she panics was told to still wear it so she did and then she has a panic attack around a lot of people and a lot of hot food and your staff stand around and watch myself panic and struggle holding 2 plates noone helpee just stood around looking at me. Secondly the food was not up to expectation as the sheesh kebab balls was pink inside. I only eat eat and mess for desert and I came to it.... it had all crisp inside chocolate fountain was off waste of money for sure. Thirdly my cousin took my auntie to the toilet the 2 kids was up getting food I looked and there table was being cleared so I said to the staff cleaning the table wow hang on a minute they havent finished. My auntie then came back from the toilet and walked out upset as she had felt rushed away. Not happy customers and we used to come end of most months for family meals. I dont normally complain as I work in customer service myself but I really hope something can be done about this as it was quite an appalling service we received I would either like a refund or part refund or if you know a way to solve my complaint will be great The customer service on reception desk somebody called jasmine (male) is absolutely terrible was very snotty and abrupt

Booked a table for a Friday evening knowing that it was likely to be extremely busy to then be told the day before, the booking had not been completed due to customers attending in person and booking which counteracted my booking! This is not an acceptable form of customer service, especially being told the day before that such booking wasn’t confirmed, left me very little notice to book somewhere else and meant that the whole party of guests was unable to book another restaurant Unfortunately won’t be rebooking here as I feel customer service should be paramount especially after being shut for a long period due to covid

Visited here at peak time on Saturday 12th December.Bit of a queue to get in (even though we'd booked) but that is understandable as they can only deal with 1 booking at a time, especially at the moment.Once inside the restaurant the experience was faultless from start to finish.All tables were well distanced, a one way system around the food section, disposable gloves handed out each time we went up for food, food replenished very regularly.There were lots of staff available and it meant that tables were cleared and cleaned very quickly, drinks were served in quick time etc. All staff encountered were very friendly and helpful and a credit to the company. There was an amazing range of food available, I certainly had my fill and it all tasted amazing, you could even have a turkey dinner with all of the trimmings!This was my 2nd visit to the restaurant (last visit 2019) and both experiences have been great, I look forward to returning again soon.It threw me a bit to read the negative comments as I honestly had a fantastic experience (and I am fussy!) . I would absolutely recommend anyone to go there!
