Came in to try a variety of food with my son. So that he could taste more than one thing. Not great, I would say standard fair. I wouldn’t go again as not much choice

3pm deadline for the lunch serving and they stick to it rigidly. Food was looking very tired at 2.40 pm when I got there. Quite enjoyed it at the time but an hour later my stomach was turning somersaults. Had to make an unplanned stop to allow the dramatic evacuation of my lunch.

Food was nice . Wouldn't recommend if you have children that are fussy eaters as you are still charged full price for a small plate of duck and pancakes ! My one year old grandson who was having small bits of his daddy also was about to be charged until my niece put her foot down and said no way are we paying for a baby ! Absolutely ridiculous

My son lives near Warrington so we visited for his birthday and Booked a table here. On entering the service was spot on. Food delicious and what a choice didn’t know where to start or finish.Even the desserts spoilt for choice…. and the ice cream machine went down well. Definitely would return next time we’re visiting and will be our go to for food. Went on a Saturday very busy but efficient turn over.

We go normally 4 times per year. Went for evening dinner and had the KING PRAWNS. Mistake had to spit them out , they were all slushy inside , very very odd. After complaining 22/11/23 the lady just laughed shrugged her shoulders, as whats your problem ! The meats were fatty.Too much salt. Not impressed, needless to say will not be returning...

AWFUL! Wasn’t going to go again after last time we pointed out that the apple crumble had mould on but thought it may have improved since.. Food was average, went for tea with my 9 year old tonight, we have been home an hour and half and both of us are being sick and have stomach ache already!!

The prices were expensive, the food really wasn't that great! Which was really annoying considering there was a lot of us. It was mostly greasy. Rather poor quality and we are leaving feeling quite sickly! We really weren't amused by the adult to child price system as its by height not age! I find this ridiculous and scandalous! Also, i am certainly not amused that 1 child was "classed as a child" when first alocated seats - by your standards may i add.. although they are 11 years old, yet upon paying you chatged for an adult for an 11 year old. Again, ridiculous and scandalous!!! I'd like to state that my shortest-for-her age child ate far more than the other kids that you classed as adults.

Not really my thing Chinese buffet. Not been for years. Was nice back then and was my daughters choice today for her birthday. £19.95 for adults is just absurd and children’s £10 even worse. My son is 3 and don’t think he even finished a prawn cracker.. should be a lower priced one for younger ones!!! No air con so couldn’t enjoy my food in 30 degree heat. Beef inedible, literally had to spit it out it was that chewy. the rest not much better. Best bit was the banana in toffee syrup thing. Don’t normally leave poor reviews but can’t stand how this place massively Ofer charges for very poor quality food

I am very picky with Chinese food. The past few years everytime ive ate it I've swore I will never eat again due to it being awful every place I've tried. I came here not expecting much but wow, the abundance of choice was great. The food was good quality ,tasty and most importantly freshly topped up, buffet style. I really enjoyed everything I tried. It was a little more expensive than other places but I don't mind if it's worth it. Couldn't comment on dessert because I was stuffed after starter and main. Honestly beautiful and value for money!

Before we went to east orient today we looked through reviews and seen that there was quite alot of negative reviews. We are a care company who were having a special thank you day within our company so we arranged to go for lunch with the young adults we support with the staff team. Both our young adults are on autism spectrum with learning disabilities. One young adult gets really overawed with busy places and can become quite aggressive which he did become on arrival. A member of staff quickly seen this and asked if we required a quieter area upstairs which we accepted and our young adult managed perfectly. All i can say is a big thanks to all the staff at east orient, the food was excellent and cleanliness was excellent also. Once again thank you

First time eating here and definitely the last! We paid £67 for cold food. The restaurant is dirty and staff are rude they seem to just just want you in and out as quickly as possible. We also had bad tummies the next day. AVOID!

The place was clean, the staff were attentive, helpful. The food was delicious and such a large selection too. It was busy, but they cleared away plates and kept the table clean. I can't fault the service at all

The restaurant is a bit dated and didn’t look very clean. There was plenty of food choice on offer but looked cheap and the teriyaki service was not on offer which was a bit disappointing. The desserts looked and tasted like they was bought from Iceland. We paid £80 for 2 adults and 2 children with drinks which I think was a bit pricey for what we actually received. That night I got home and I had an upset stomach all night, next morning we all had bad stomachs and the Chinese just kept repeating on me so we definitely which wasn’t nice at all. I would not go back for the price and experience we had.

Not been for a few years - OMG it was horrible. Sticky tables, dirty chairs, floor was grimy, food was nowhere near as good as it used to be. This place really does need avoiding. Do yourself a favour, save your hard earned money and go elsewhere. It was just rough!!

Went here tonight as a large group and the staff was absolutely rude! My child who is 11 is tall for her age, but she does not eat like an adult and I was rudely told she was being charged the full adult price when we sat down ( hadn't even asked at this point). I explained she wouldn't eat much and i was told very rudley that she is too tall to be charged a child price even if she ate one plate full of food it is full adult price. And i could leave if I didn't like it. Well i would have if i wasn't there for someones birthday. Well what if you are an adult under 150cm therefore you could pay the childs price? When they was collecting food they rudley leant over you, and at one point the woman was collecting plates either side of me and almost got me in the face with a handful of plates and cuttelry (no apology) When one of our guests was paying they snatched the credit card out of his hand before he could check the price. Never again will i go here.

Very little to complain about and the food is very good. It’s like having all the takeaway menu fresh and available for you. I enjoyed the many, food options snd they were cooked well and tasty. Service was excellent. All good.

It has been many years since we were last here. I was pleasantly surprised by how lovely the staff were that greeted us and took our drinks order. I remember thinking that there wasn't much choice on my last visit and to be honest for a buffet it is selective but there was enough variety for us. I wasn't expecting it to be outstanding but i enjoyed everything I had as did the rest of the troop so its a big thumbs up from us.

Me and my family went for my little brothers birthday and had an excellent experience. My grandad who has a problem walking came with us and we didn’t want him to miss out on choosing what he wanted so we called in and very happily let us in through the top doors and let us choose where we sat! The staff are extremely friendly as well and keen to help with any problems.

This restaurant simply does not comply with food regulations when it comes to temperature probing. The temperature of food was barely warm with the manager suggesting we should get the food from the bottom of the buffet tray?Surely this is admission that the food temperature is not regulated.

Having visited 2 years ago and being impressed, I now take that back. This time we arrived at 12.15pm so expecting everything to be fresh but were met with food that was only just warm. Also, noticed the food is just topped up rather than replaced for fresh - a ground for breeding bacteria! Didn't enjoy at all this time and to top it off the loose stink. Won't be wasting my time again - even my 8 year old wasn't impressed!

It's not the best Chinese/Indian food I've ever had, but as a way to introduce kids to the different flavours without having to order full dishes from a menu it is excellent!

Located in Warrington, U.K. The town appears quite desolate, with most of the shops closed. Found this Chinese restaurant, and went inside thinking we would have something fresh and tasty. What a disappointment! None of the dishes were of any appreciable standard. Most were variations of chicken. But they lacked that fresh taste. Not a single dish had a memorable taste. Dull. Frozen meats cooked in Chinese style, but very disappointing. The desserts were a disaster. One look at the ice-creams and you realized you were in a third-rate joint, selling what were essentially left-overs under the garb of buffet.

The choice and range of food was very good but the items I choice were not up to my liking, example the salt and pepper leg and wings we're over cooked and greasy and I could hardly taste the s and p. You will find something to eat to make the price good value for money.

This is a lovely chinese buffet resturant. There is a lot of choice condtantly bringing out fresh food. The place its self is very clean and the staff are friendly and very helpful notjing is too much trouble.

This was my second visit with the family, we came back as we enjoyed it so much the first time, there is such a great choice, a kids section with some english food, a large selection of chinese food and then Indian at the end, plus a great selection of desserts including mr whippy ice creams, my fave was the banana fritters.

Spent a fortune on very little. You kind of understood that there wouldn't be an actual vegetarian main meal on the buffet but there was always plenty of choice of side dishes which soon filled you up. There was actually very little choice of anything that wasn't meat of fish this time. I queried it with several of the staff who just thought I was crazy. Eventually spoke to a couple of guys who seemed to be in charge but they just dismissed me with contempt.

There must have been about 25 types of rather nicely cooked and tasting meat dishes. Not necessarily unusual in Chinese Buffet Restaurants, but what was very good was that each of these dishes actually TASTED different, which I am sure, was their intent!

I've been visiting this place since it opened in the early 2000's and could not fault it in any way until recently . They've always supplied restaurant quality food in a buffet style and the service was always friendly , efficient and polite , but recently I feel the management may have got a bit greedy . There have been a few price hikes over the last couple of years ; and although it still offers good value for money ; is now relatively expensive . Also they have stopped opening during the afternoon (bad for me as I would regularly pick the kids up from school and go straight there) and at the same time appear to have got rid of some staff , so now the service (clearing tables , getting drinks etc) isn't as slick . In fact at peak times , service could be described as poor . I now don't attend as often as I did ; mainly due to the cost ; but having said that I would never put people off coming here , the quality of the food has never changed . From my point of view it has become more of a once a month treat rather than a much more regular thing . If you do go , my personal recommendations are the Chicken and sweetcorn soup , stuffed mushrooms , steak cantonese style and char sui in hoisin sauce and of course the banana fritters drenched in toffee sauce !

We attempted to go here 28/06. We were seated and someone came over and said 2 adults and a child. We said no just 2 adults as our child won’t eat anything apart from maybe 2-3 prawn crackers. We were told we have to pay full price for him.

The food was terrible, only thing edible was the duck! They even charged my nephew £8.50 for his 3yr old daughter because she wasn't in an high chair!! I had not been here for a few years to which the food prices were reasonable then and the food was nice, 30 of us went on Saturday 1/6/19, they put us in the hottest place ever with petitions between each table so without going over to someone’s table to chat you missed out on family and friends chat, it was so hot you didn’t want to eat it was on the level we’re the bar is the roof is low and no windows or doors you can open, no air-con so very hot when food core is on the next level down and as heat rises it just got hotter and hotter so we didn’t stay long, then they sat strangers round us which I thought was ignorant of them as it was booked as a 21st meal, the food was disgusting, chips that tasted like they had been warmed up from days ago, prawn toast that was rock solid and would break your teeth, ribs in sauce with no meat on other food disgusting, sweets £1 each in Asda, they have a tappenyaki food counter which was shut, a large Chinese man on bar very ignorant he poured pints of lager which were half lager half froth looked more like an ice cream told him I wanted a full pint he put a little bit in and slammed glass down on bar which costs about £4 a pint, was charged £8.50 for granddaughter aged 3 because she didn’t sit in an high chair £3 if sat in high chair if they had told me this I would have sat her in a high chair not like they are were you can see them, then had the cheek to charge £16.50 per person, the large guy at the bar told us we couldn’t leave til everyone had paid cos we were all paying separately, my 21 year old niece was upset she had invited family and friends for a meal that was a big disappointment too hot ignorant and disgusting food ruined her special day none of the 30 guests will be eating there ever again BIG let-down

Visited with my daughter, a lot of food was dried up, some food wasn't that warm ( wondering if it was warm enough?) Staff all looked miserable. Then to top off our visit I was charged the adult price for my daughter who is 11 and clearly a child, I queried the charge and was told it was their policy if you are over a certain height. I would suggest they re-write their price list and remove the word child as they are charging based on height!! Surely a child of 11 is a child, regardless of their height? I certainly won't be going back anytime soon!!!

Lots of variety, but duck was soggy, not crispy, some food been out so long it was hard from the overhead heaters. If you shone a uv light, the place would glow with all the MSG. I expect Chinese meat to be velvetted, but only the chicken was, the rest was tough. Service excellent though.

This place is definitely all that you can eat and that is reflected in the quality of the food. I’ve been here before, at a lunchtime. If I remember it was £7.50 a head. Anyway this time it was a Friday night at £15.50 a head. Let’s just say if the price is double then it’s not worth the money. Either stick to lunchtime or get yourself a takeaway.

Just got back from our favourite Chinese. Stuffed as always . Staff always friendly and quick to clear tables . Food always fresh and hot . Lost count how many times we visit . Usually a Friday when we are child free . Never costs us more than 40 quid which is reasonable for a couple these days ..

I’m not really into all you can eat! But after a works Christmas party all I needed was lots of choice and wanted to pig out.

Used to bring my boys here often as they love it, but everytime i have been in the last few months the grubbiness has got worse. The chairs are all stained, and where they have tried to cover them with fake leather its ripped. Plates and cutlery are grubby, and the last time I went, which I why have stopped going, it was pouring down outside and it was leaking in through the ceiling, and the splashes was right next to the food trays. This put me right off and i havent been back since.

My wife and I visited here on a spur of the moment, what a terrible decision, the plates weren’t that clean, neither where bowls or cutlery. Chairs had lumps out of the coverings and to cap it all as we paid the bill we where told by the staff that if we went earlier than 1900 it is cheaper and all the rubbish food isn’t left. Certainly most definitely would not visit again.

Usually ok. But this time there was raw chicken. When told manager just made excuse that it's the marinade on the chicken really put me off eating anymore won't be going again and not even an apology.

We had a date night and we enjoyed a lovely couple of plates of food. Although I was sensible and didn't pile too much on so I had room for the delicious toffee cheesecake!

Whilst on a Sunday trip to Warrington, the ball and chain and I decided to nip in here for a bite to eat. Seeing as these places charge top whack on the day of rest, I expected a full array of oriental cuisine. On the whole, I was not disappointed, there was a lot to choose from. I didn't enjoy everything, but that may have been my own personal taste rather than a sign of bad cooking. My personal favourites were the chicken satay and honey glazed pork.
