Very tasty food. Really enjoyed and definitely be there again. Mango lassi was the best choice my friends said.

Appears they have changed hands, extortion by price, portions small, salad old and brown, more oil on top of curry than the North Sea Rig! Diry and unhygienic... Nope not the one any longer based on clean competition locally. If I lived closer I would be back there and they would be wearing it. Trash!

This place is stunning. The food is out of this world. Mr Kahn and his team look after you well but the food is the real star of the show. Farka Dal, Tandori baby chicken, all the curries are excellent.

The food is amazing nothing compares. It's been refurbished and looks great now. Will always come here.

The Food is freshly cooked the Seekh kebabs are the best ever & the Chicken tikka is amazing. Only complaint because the food is fresh it is quite slow ! Restraunt being re- furnished take away only at the mo.

Me and my friend decided to attempt to dine here last night, and from the off set it was a complete joke! I asked upon entering where we could be seated and no one responded! We eventually found a table at the back, and all I can say is the place was filthy! No concern or care in the world for the current pandemic with COVID! I asked for a menu, by one of the servers who chose to ignore me, I then went up to the till to ask, and got thrown a takeaway style menu! Upon sitting back down a we called the waitress over who was no concerned about taking an order and on 3 occasions started to have conversations with other employees. We eventually ordered with as much difficulty as possible! After waiting over an hour I asked a waiter where our food was, for him to look blank at me and walk away! We decided on the end to walk out! Worst customer service! And the hygiene is pretty much no existent! Avoid at all costs!

ordered chcicken and it was burnt to a crisp.. they said it was because they were too busy with no offer of a replacemnet, extremeley disappointing!

Simply avoid this place, waitress was like she couldn't be bothered working there, biryani was cold, mixed grill was burnt. The whole place looks filthy and hasn't been cleaned. Simply just avoid

Went to order a takeaway ordered kebabs and curry while I was waiting I can see the worker putting the kebabs on the grill and cooking the curry then suddenly he started sneezing on the food not one time at least 3 4 times didn't even use a tissue or wash his hands no hygiene at all in this place walked out dangerous and deadly place to eat. Health inspectors either dont care or not doing the job on MIDLAND ROAD food places

Eating here could be dangerous. I won’t eat anywhere that has a hygiene rating of less than 5 stars, for obvious reasons. Tread carefully, or go elsewhere.

Unethical halal meat products, dirty restaurant and rude, aggressive staff. Terrible place. Food is tasteless and small portions.

This is a basic place, plastic tables, nothing fancy in the way of service of decor. Having said that the food is great, the staff are friendly, and the service is efficient. The menu is quite large and features Pakistani classics from curries to grilled kebabs and meats. They have a big grill and a tandoor. Everything is cooked to order. I particularly like the lamb kofte kebab roll, which is served with salad and a homemade naan cooked in the tandooor. It comes with three different sauces. And is under £4!, I have tried some of the curries too and they have all been good. The masala lamb chops are also very good. If you’re looking for fancy then this is not for you. If you want great food at a great price, pay this place a visit. Don’t judge the food by the decor! I love it.

Rude staff, food is average and place is abit dirty. Needs ALOT of work to be honest. Wouldn't recommend!!

A local told me this was a good place to get a quick take away of decent quality. I am afraid I couldn't agree. Not awful but wouldn't return.

I've been going here for nearly 3 years. They have the same staff and same food... So I'm used to it and enjoy it. But at first the place did look a bit aged and the staff don't really have the best of social skills. They do try, don't get me wrong.. But let's say it's not great and they not bothered either. The reason being that customers are always coming and everyone knows what they want. Therefore there social skill doesn't need to be amazing. Either way.. To the point - the food. I give it 9/10 as they always get my order on point. I always order Lamb Chops, Lamb Karahi with Keema, Nihari and Roti x 3 and out of the blue I get their Special Biryani. And as always they get it spot on. Amazing food and at reasonable price. During busy days it can take upto 15-20 minutes to get the food to you but I think it's worth it. Personally I say with this type of establishment, you shouldn't knock it before trying it. Great food.. That's what matters to me.

Por desgracia, entramos y encontramos a la grosería después el personal había gratificado con sus egos poco ignorar me durante unos minutos en un lugar vacío. Puede tener más suerte si no una mujer. Una pena, porque la comida ha sido muy buena cuando pedí allí hace algunos meses.

Visitamos aquí con un amigo que visitas a menudo. Pidió para nosotros - en su mayoría sizzling carnes a la brasa y un par de curry de verduras y pan. Tengo que decir que todo estaba muy sabroso. No había señal de comida grasosa. Bien, la higiene quizás no sea el mejor pero si ya un poco cuidado no habrá problemas. No voy a pensar que es un pijo occidental sentarse. Si quieres la comida sabrosa, luego probarlo.

Walked in no greeting- dirty everywhere I looked, greasy tables, the floor looked like never been clean, tiles were dirty counter dirty, I just wanted to walk out, I order some chicken which was so dry and tasteless- the rice was warmed up in a container most probably from the night before and re heated and the server push the rice with his fingers into my dish!!! Cost nearly 10 pounds, needles to say the food went to the bin! Never again they will have to pay me to go there again- and TBH I wouldn't go anyway.

No flavour, despite impressive looking cooking. I have struggled to find anything worth getting other than the naan bread. Poor service. It would be better spending time to get better tasting food in London or across the road.

As close to home cooked food as possible...however i felt that the helpings were small for the price. Its a bit shabby ...like a road side restaurant..not too clean in the seating area.

this restraunt is fabulouse but what did hurt me mum and sis is that they gave us little amount we spoke to the waiter and he said "the chef told us that that is what we are going to have not to be mean but it cost £3 just for donner meat and chips its good price but they gave us such little bit but i would still go there the food is amazing i would recomend that you place your order then then sit down to eat food takes sooo long.

Elegimos este lugar para comer en mi cumpleaños y me sorprendió gratamente el Nihari y Halim. Muy agradable y sabrosa. Pedimos una simple arroz y arroz de Pilau en su lugar, pero no nos importó demasiado. La comida era tan agradable que no tenía espacio para pastel. Por desgracia no hacen las comidas de los niños,

The food is Fantastic compared to other restaurants in Northampton as there is no other competition in the town. Most of my friends hesitate to go to Al Fairoz as they feel unwelcome by the Staff. The Staff will ignore you, even though they see that you are at the till waiting to collect or make an order. Most of the time If you order over the phone, you will find that the phone just rings and nobody picks up. When they do pick up the phone and you make the order, they will tell you 15 minutes it will be ready, a lot of times when you go there in 30 minutes the food wont be ready.When the food is ready for collection, and you are at the till and wanting to pay for it. The Staff will ignore you and chat to their colleagues while you just stand there. Please note that not all Staff are bad. Some are very good.

We are quite regular customer in Al-Fairoz. We took lots of friends & family with us in several occasions. Everybody was happy with the taste. The taste is amazing. Specially tarka daal & nehari is awesome. Just need bit modifications of the downstairs hall. Menu looks cheap. Toilet is always messy. Staff should be bit welcoming. But we can consider this for taste of the food. Highly recommended for food.

I have been coming here for a long time with family and friends and I can honestly say it's the best ever! Proper desi food and the staff are super friendly and go out of their way to give you the best service I don't know what crystal was on about they must not like her very much...just saying

Working on a project away from home. Ate here and best indian food I have had. Plain surroundings, no lager, but dahl, mixed grill, bindi bhaji fab.

Guys a revamp of your restaurant is desperately needed. It doesn't do justice to the amazing food that you offer! Baby chicken (roast) always the winner but their BBQ is amazing as well!

Ordered mix grill and some keema curries. Like clockwork at 4am I was in the bathroom all night and behold me the next day speaking to my friends so was they at some point in the night. Stay away unless u enjoy having the runs

Succulent juicy and well spiced kebabs.. Biriyani was average.. Excellent value for money.. Will go there just to eat kebabs.. Especially the lamb ones

If you're in Bedford and want to have some authentic Biryani - this is the place!! I have to commend the chef, everything is made fresh and the taste of the Biryani was so good, I was doing a takeaway 4 out of 5 days when I was in Bedford. In case you're wondering about my knowledge about Biryani, I come from Hyderabad!! Not just biryani, I've also tried out other Gosht dishes with nan- they were fantastic. If you're doing a take away, call 01234355999 so you don't have to wait - trust me he's always busy! They do have a sit down restaurant as well, but unfortunately we couldn't as we have a 1yr old.
