The best restaurants serving Chinese food in South West

I feel the food from here is a bit disappointing. Not terrible but below par for a Chinese takeaway. They should also take card - yes it’s expensive but sorry you’re missing out on business being cash only.

Food, service and delivery is of excellent quality. The portions are huge, they really are! They have the best curry sauce by far, I’m not overly keen on their chips if I’m honest. (I just don’t like frozen chips, much prefer homemade.) The mini spring rolls are a real bargain, you get a bag full! I think it has improved since they first took over the ownership several years ago, and for the better too. It is still a cash only establishment, which is fair enough, why pay for card fees, cash is king so they say!

Never been let down by my local Chinese takeaway. Some of the lesser reviews suggest long wait times in the school holidays - that’s for a reason; it’s the best Chinese around!

夜晚到达巴斯，可选餐馆不多，看见中国餐馆就进去了，里面基本没有客人。老板娘倒是挺热情。我们点了三个菜，韭菜鱿鱼，姜葱大虾，干煸四季豆，一盘水饺。味道还可以，菜的份量太少太少了，姜葱大虾只有四只虾，韭菜鱿鱼就只有一丢丢鱿鱼，韭菜吃几口就没了。就这些菜量一共64.9磅。实在太抢钱了。

My main comment is - don't judge a book by it's cover as the appearance of the Golden Pond is a little run down but I cannot speak more highly of the food which is the best Chinese I've had for a very long time ( I'm 68) and probably the best I've ever had - As far a I could tell all freshly prepared - one word for it - Delicious 😋😋😋.

Not since before Lockdown have we used Rickshaw and will be the last. Yes the meal arrived quickly and felt hot while taking it home. That’s were it ended, The food was so Greasy it was disgusting. I have never had such greasy food. The Pancakes were Running in grease. It actually ran over over breadboard and onto the work surface. Same with the Chicken Balls. Fired Rice was dry. We both feel sick after it. Well it goes to say we didn’t eat it.

The most awful service ever. I ordered for collection 45 minutes later. I telephoned the order and when I got there they did not have the order. He told me I had to wait and would not tell me how long. When I said I had booked collection he told me he would not serve me. He was difficult to understand and extremely rude and I recommend no one ever uses this take away.

This is the best Chinese ever the flavour was just out of this world and I couldn’t stop eating it I had to go backs the next day and get more

We have used the Wok Inn for a couple of years and find a lot of the negative reviews here on TripAdvisor surprising. Food is excellent, with a wide and varied menu. Always served piping hot, estimates for when it will be ready are generally accurate and the portions are a decent size. Highly recommended and our go to place for a Chinese in the area.

The “Crispy Special” from KK Takeaway is anything but special. The pork was like chewing on an old boot—dry, tough, and completely flavorless. The chicken tasted like it had lost the will to live, mushy and borderline inedible. And the shrimp? Might as well have been rubber bands soaked in fishy water. I’ve had better food at gas stations. Complete waste of money and an insult to the word “crispy.” Avoid this disaster at all costs.

We had an amazing meal from Ichi Tong last night. We ordered several dishes (all large portions) and would highly recommend any of them to others. There was nothing we would not order again. Try it for yourself. You will not be disappointed,

We use this takeaway 3-4 times a month and have done so for several years.Always excellent quality and tasty meals.You will not be disappointed.

Awful meal. Extremely bland and tasteless. The excessive amount of rubbery chicken was terrible, think it may have been supplied by Dunlop! Couldn't chew it for love nor money. Genuinely could not eat it. Will not try this place again.

Ordered a takeaway consisting of several dishes. The standard was excellent as usual. We live close by so were able to collect, so piping hot. Cost was well under £60 and after eating until very full we were able to freeze up a further six meals, brilliant.
