KKS Chinese Takeaway in Wiltshire

Please don't waste your money. Chicken Balls soggy with thick better and gelatinous artificial red sauce, slimy chow mein which didn't taste nice, pancake rolls with virtually no filling. Sorry to say went in the bin. Such a shame.

I ordered a takeaway tonight and it was horrible. Kung po chicken was watery, the smell was horrible, smelt off, tasted like sickly sweet . I got 5 meatless ribs so basically just bone. I phoned up to complain the lady on the phone said it didn’t sound right I will go and speak to my manager. She came back and said basically the manager said tough that’s how the meals come if you don’t like don’t order it again. Well I won’t be ordering ever again. AVOID

£13 for a salt and pepper box. It was horrible. Overcooked, dry, small pieces of food. The so-called ribs were shrivelled bits of red pork. Most of the box was chips with a few dried bits of meat and some token bits of chilli thrown in. Worst Chinese takeaway I have ever had.

My son ordered a takaway ,for my husband and I, my husband ordered chicken curry and rice, I ordered house special chow mien and 1 portion of prawn crackers,,his curry was bland and totally tasteless, my house special was noodles only no meat.we paid £17.70,wouldn’t ever return .would never recommend

How the mighty have fallen, once the best in Salisbury now just average. Just ordered a chicken curry, OK I know not exactly authentic Chinese food but it’s a popular option. It was gross, tasteless, watery and from ordering to being given it, a matter of a few minutes. This has happened a few times, never again

I have bought meals from KKs for many years and the owner has been fabulous. Now KKs is under new management, the food is ok but not as tasty. The manager was so rude to me when I went to collect my food, rude, and aggressive. I will never buy from here again and I would not recommend KKs

Shocking customer service - I asked for bbq ribs and the gentleman denied me asking for the changed £50 for food. Arguing on the phone, you will never get my business again. You are very poor at lokkkng after your customers

Used KK’s for over 30 years. Unfortunately Charlie sold up. Worst food I’ve ever seen in my life. I’ve never seen Chicken ‘n’ Pineapple like it. Full of a fatty, gluppy, gristly white meat type. Given full refund by owner, but not even an apology.

Love the giant pancake roll. Ordered a takeaway - delivered v quickly as always all v nice indeed. Hubby had Szechwan prawns - yum. Personally didn’t like the prawn toast - but everything else delicious.

Ordered take away, ist time for along time from this takeaway big mistake. Told 1 hour to 1.25 wait that's ok Had to wait 1.5 hours no problem Food was cold /warm when arrived,pancake roll was cold and running in fat,disgusting ,grease/ fat running out of it,batter just a sudden mess unable to eat, in the bin it went Mains had to be reheated, chicken in batter very tough, not like chicken in the Chinese curry which was ok. Very sad to report this but it was terrible, won't be back. tried to ring to complain always busy ,just gave up Altogether not worth waiting for Poor service

Have eaten from here for many years, not sure what's happened but the last couple of times the food has been diabolical. Bland is an understatement, chicken curry has been a gloopy tasteless mess, rubber chicken in a sauce you could stand a spoon in, fried rice greasy, and stuck together. Very disappointing.

Very sad how the once excellent and best in Salisbury has become so terrible! Stodgy grim tasteless splodge!! Sorry after 30 years won’t return!

Something seems to have changed at KKs. We've tried it twice over the past couple of months & the standard definitely seems to have deteriorated. Our takeaway last night really wasn't very nice: horribly salty, quite dry & we both had banging headaches an hour or so later. I suspect MSG & the way I feel today confirms that. Very dehydrated, sore eyes & lips & a residual headache. Think we'll be giving them a miss for a while.

KK’s is my new favourite Chinese takeaway. Super speedy, always fresh and always delicious. The crispy chilli beef is insanely good 👍🏻

My daughter wanted Chinese food and I didn't have a clue which was the best so I looked on trip advisor. They delivered on time the meat was tender and tasty and plenty of it.

Called in for mid-week take away. Very friendly staff. Standard menu - adapted to my taste. Cooked instantly, in open kitchen. Slightly more expensive than I expected, but it was very tasty and portions good.

Me and my partner got recommended KK's as the best Chinese in salisbury.. Sadly we would totally disagree, we couldn't even eat the food it was that sloppy and had no taste. Very disappointed

Siempre me ha gustado KKS. La última visita fue después de un largo viaje en tren, llegando a Salisbury a las 10. A las 30 hs los llamó y ordenó un par de platos. Estaba lista para cuando salí de la estación y, aunque era tarde, me gustaba mucho comerla.

Really nicely cooked, easy to order. Hard to park outside but worth the walk from your car. Lovely food good service and selection.

Don't expect fancy Szechuan dishes here, the menu is solidly UK Chinese take-away but in the last 4 years, we've not been disappointed in what we've taken away. A nice solid place for Crispy Duck, Sweet & Sour Chicken Balls and House Special Chow Mein with a side of Prawn Crackers.

Had no taste was absolutely discussing 6 people all left there food I would not feed it to my dog! Staff are very rude & slow wouldn’t even apologise Just rowed! Never will we be coming back!

Todo lo que uno quiere, pero rara vez encuentra, de un chino para llevar. Recién cocinado, saludable, sabroso y delicioso. Recientemente hemos descubierto KK pero ahora hemos tenido algunas comidas realmente excelentes desde aquí. Precio razonable, cantidades generosas, gente muy amigable, lo recomendaría encarecidamente y lo volveré a publicar pronto.

Always very friendly staff and Robert the owner has a very good memory for names and always addresses you very well. Best Chinese take away in Salisbury and surronding area. I never go any where else for my Chinese food.

Era San Valentín y se me olvidó totalmente que todo iba a ser reservadas. Nos decidimos por un chino para llevar. Caminamos a KK y ordenados, y a pesar de una entrega hora de espera para aquellos que llamó, estábamos fuera en 15 minutos. Estaban trabajando duro para conseguir las órdenes de salida y a pesar de los grandes volúmenes, la comida era excelente.

Excellent food and cheap delivery. One of the best takeaway Chinese food we've had in a long time. Having a delivery service was a bonus. Arrived piping hot

He estado usando durante todo el año 2016, en KKs el menos una vez al mes. Para llevar la comida de este es muy bueno y el personal es muy amable, como son las personas de entrega. El servicio es muy rápido, más rápido que el tiempo siempre cotizan, que siempre es una ventaja.

I usually quite like the food from here but this evening was a let down. Over half an hour late with no apology call. Chips seems like half of them were older ones that had been re fried and the ribs (or lack of them) were swimming in a sauce full of onions and pineapple were all the small dregs rather than full ribs with next to no meat on. For the price of them, it's pretty shambolic. Will be trying somewhere else next time I think

Staff are very friendly and polite. Unfortunately the service is becoming slow of late and although food is generally good, on a few occasions it has been over or under cooked.

Charged £1.50 for a free delivery on a set of meals over £80, less than a mile from the shop, gradually seems to be getting worse, used to be very good, even the meals now sub standard.

Probably the best take out in Salisbury Always go here for great food .Always a smile and that's why along with the food we always go back

KK's always deliver quality food and quickly, when ordering (if you have ordered from them before) they know who you are and what you normally order, friendly, efficient and tasty!!

We always have take away from K Ks as we think they are the best after trying others.Very efficient both on the phones or if you go in to order and also for delivery.

I have nether tasted chinese food like this it is superb in always when we have a take away from here and we have a lot big family to feed it has always been top notch from starters to main and not always the same like to try different tastes so does other family members and the welcome is aways a smiling one can't wait for another dish to try happy days
