Ordered from here a number of times and the food is really good and the delivery extremely fast. Last two times we ordered have been told it would be 45 mins and it was more like 20 to Amesbury which is superb. The food is always piping hot. King prawn with green pepper and black bean was great. Beef with spring onion and ginger also great. Thank you.

i order from here all the time. i ordered about 4 weeks ago and had food poisoning from the prawn toast. was really unwell after eating

Extremely rude staff and awful food 🤢

I found maggots in my egg role and it smelled horrendous in there. It smelled like a rotting animal corpse.also the time taken to even get my meal was 2 hours for a smelly maggot filled egg role with dry noodles. Would not recommend.

Despite being a local resident who spent over £100 spent in the last week ... ( on 2 separate occasions) the food was cold, thrown in a foil bag with bones, nuggets were stone cold, it was just badly present, ruined my anniversary meal, we argued through the food away I WILL NEVER GO NEAR THIS PLACE AGAIN!!!! ( especially as competition is directly across the road) ( But We had ignored warnings from other locals....our mistake)

We used this as our usual Chinese (China town) is closed for holidays, OMG the food was outstanding! Hot, big portions and full of favour. We will defiantly be back!

So this is our regular Chinese but for some reason tonight we had the worse Chinese we have ever ordered! So bad that we won’t be ordering again. The chicken balls were soggy and had black hard bits running through the chick en, it put my husband off his food! Some of the vegetables spring rolls had a hard/rubbery grey object in them, the chips were half cooked the only alright thing about the meal was the chicken chow mein! But everything else made this experience very bad and now we both feel very sick 🤢

Shame really, previously ordered. Missed out beef curry fried rice sweet and sour sauce prawn crackers and a can of coke. Baring in mind when the order was placed the woman was rude. I then rang over 10 times when the order arrived off two different numbers no response. Rang the next day to have another woman be completely rude and ask me why I never called up I asked her to check the phone call log she said she could not. She offered me a new order and 10% off when I order next time. So a week later I’ve placed an order and the woman was absolutely rude when I asked her to read out my order she shouted I just have and told me that she was going to get fired as apparently my order was written down in the book. Absolutely shocking for customer service. It’s a shame really as the food is nice.

We ordered some what I thought would be good Chinese cuisine from the Wok U in Durrington for the my wife’s 40th. What a disappointment, Beef Chow Mien was bland and had no taste and noodles were over cooked. Daughter had Chicken Balls, also had no taste, ended up in the bin. To be honest, I wouldn’t have fed our dog the leftovers. I called the establishment to highlight my concerns. The response I got was - “We’re really busy and apologise” after getting through (15 minutes later). This establishment used to be really good, but seems to have gone down hill for some reason. We paid over £40 (cash only) for the privilege, only to be utterly disappointed. In my opinion, avoid this establishment at all costs and give your hard earned money to another worthy business.

They got my delivery order wrong. 2 items was missing and upon ringing them up they said best they could do is refund the individual items or resend the missing items. (Which will arrive over an hour later). Terrible customer service.

We were really very pleased with our home delivery service. We ordered the Singapore rice noodles, duck with ginger and spring onions, and squid with hot and spicey sauce all really delicious. In particular the squid dish was fantastic but quite spicey and my wife loved it. Many thanks.

It's OK, not the worst and not the best. The crispy chilli beef is not nice, disappointed with it. Normally happy with the sweet and sour Hong Kong style.

The food may be just ok, but only if you were not hungry when you actually order. Always arrives hours after ordering. By that time, we are famished and are ‘over it’. We have given them a couple of chances now, but will not be going back.

Great service food is excellent

This was my first visit to this local takeaway. I placed my order by telephone which was much easier than I thought it would be (5 Stars), it was a meal for 2 adults and 2 children, ordered for a 1730 pickup. I arrived on time to be told there was a slight delay. The delay continued but I was told that it was just being packed up in the kitchen. The delay continued... and I was then told that the incorrect time had be put on the order (1830) but that the order was now being prepared (1 Star, though I understand mistakes do happen). Very apologetic lady (4 Stars) who offered me extra prawn crackers (2 Stars - already get these for free anyway so didn't need extra). When the food did eventually arrive and it was presented to the family, it was very fresh, non-gloopy and actually very nice (5 Stars) and with generous portions. Would definitely go here again though I would double check the time on the order... 5 Stars for the quality of the food.

Hungry and fancied Chinese so stopped off here. Takeaway was beautiful, well cooked with lots of king prawns, fresh vegetable and delicious sauces at a very good rate. God value for money quality Chinese food. Recommended.

We have recently relocated to Durrington and our first meal at this takeaway. We were very happy with the good quality of the food.

We love a Chinese and have recently moved to the area. 2nd time of ordering and can probably say its one of the best we've ever had. Good portions, great selection and service.

Ordered several dishes with friends. The best of the dishes would only earn two stars. Barbecue spare ribs sauce was like vaguely savory wallpaper paste. Pancake rolls had hardly any meat and we're completely flavourless. Probably the most miserable, tasteless takeaway I have had in a very long time. We all felt it was really a waste of money.

Bit disappointed First time ordering from here, and i found the crispy beef over cooked and cold but still very tasty and the yeung beef chow mein was lovely. Wouldn't say i was completely put off by them though just maybe order something different next time. On the plus side, the portions are big! 2nd time ordered and it was faultless, again i had the yeung chow special chow mein but ordered the crispy chicken in sweet thai chilli sauce which was gorgeous. I highly recommend the duck spring rolls. 👍🏻

I've had worse chinese. However, the rice was bad quality, like loads of broken bits smashed together, almost like it had been reheated (bit of centre dry crunch to it). The prawns Cantonese style were extremely watery and not many prawns. The honey chicken was very nice , I would order that again but a bit sickly. The special spring rolls were very good though, they seemd to be hand made ones and not frozen fried ones.

Put prices up by £4 on set meal A for 2 From 12.50 /£16 what a complete rip off always use you put will be thinking again from now I.

We started using the takeaway over the past year, and I’m so glad we gave it ago. I’ve never had any food that hasn’t been delicious. If we have guests stay who want Chinese we have no problem recommending this place. Definitely worth giving ago!!!

One of the best local Chinese takeaways

We have been customers since we moved to the village many years ago and it is our go to takeaway. All our friends always say it is so much better than any food they can find where they live. The meals are always fresh and contain very good quality meat and fish. Our favourite is king prawn and cashew nuts, the prawns are gorgeous. We normally have a delivery which always arrives hot and on time. Last night we had a collection as we were taking the meal over to friends in Andover and I placed my order in the shop. The phone never stopped ringing and customers walking in, I don't know how the girl doing the order taking manages to keep on top of it all. Very well done Wok With U we hope to keep ordering from you and enjoying our meals for many years to come

When I phoned to complained I was bombarded with a torrent of abuse with everything from "tried the same trick last week'' to ''trying to blag a free scoff'' as well as being described as ''doing his head in'' despite having a genuine reason for complaint. Yes my choice for the changes I asked for are completely voluntary as supposed to dietary or allergy based. However this should not make a difference as as far as I am concerned the customer is always right. Well I can safely say that I will NEVER be giving this shambles of a business my money ever again and I urge other people to go elsewhere in the future.

Yesterday I had the shrimp and mushroom in garlic sauce and today since 6 am ive been throwing up that was the only thing I had yesterday and also my missus has the runs Never ordering from here again

First time of ordering here, it will be the last. Food arrived on time, but it was aweful, tasteless and batter on chicken balls was burnt on the outside and raw in the middle, we ordered chips and never got them, didn't bother to complain as food went in the bin

The Malaysian style Chicken in pineapple had amazing flavours although we wish it had been slightly milder. The Chicken curry and crispy chicken in lemon sauce were also both very tasty. Overall a great takeaway but it was a shame to find a hair inside our prawn cracker bag.

I ordered a seafood udon noodle dish and the plastic wrapping was still on the crab sticks 🤮 although all the other Chinese takeaways around here are even worse. Best of a bad bunch?

We order takeaway from this restaurant fairly often. It's always good value, the portions are big, the food is tasty and freshly cooked. We've been ordering here for around 4 years, since we lived in the village. My son loves it, and always asks for the fortune cookies.

Overcooked, dry and tasted like all the food had been previously cooked and warmed up. We wont be coming back.

This takeaway is and always has great food. The delivery service can get busy at times so it is best to book early or collect.

Edible but disgusting. Crispy chilli beef tasted fishy and was extremely vinegary. Sweet and sour chicken balls, had a cinnamon taste. Chicken chow mein was ok luckily! Wouldn't recommend or go again!

Brills! Great food and great service. The chap on the phone was very pleasant and pre warned us about a potentially lengthy delivery time due to being super busy. Delivery was quicker though and the food was ace. Would defo recommend.

The food is simply amazing. It tastes great, the quantity and quality are there. The man who takes your order is British, it is nice not to have to repeat yourself a million times. On the downside he doesn't have great customer service skills and can come across as rude. Just ignore it and enjoy their amazing food.

We've tried a load of local places but none of them compare to Wok with U. We've never had a disappointing meal from there yet and use it on a fairly regular basis. The service is always very fast, efficient and friendly and love the fact that its open on a Sunday (although not a Monday)
