Unfortunately my food was not edible. The spring roll was dripping in fat and the bean sprouts were a mush. I will not be returning

Be great if they actually answered the phone for an order!! Ist and last time trying, tried for over half an hour, no answer, no food and left hungry! Complete waste of time!!

Great take away offering values for money with excellent food exceptional portion sizes a great place to treat yourself vastly improved menu my opinion now the best in town 👍

I assume the takeaway has changed hands, or their kitchen staff. Have used this place for the last eight years and always had great consistent tasting food. The last two takeaways were totally different. The schezwan meal was really bland, usually has a nice kick. Also, after the kas5 two meals both of us had tummy issues. So very disappointing

Always loved this place, but last two visits the curry has changed no flavour a very bland meal ? Always was the best but now I feel it doesn’t seem worth another visit maybe changed there cook or using a different type of curry sauce?? Very disappointed

Was staying at a local camp site and ordered from here twice! The lady on the phone was friendly and helpful. Both times it was delivered efficiently to the camp site and the drivers called when at the main gate. When the food arrived, it was boiling hot and tasted very very good. Very cheap prices compared to our Chinese takeaway at home so was a bit skeptical but how I was wrong! Was the best Chinese takeaway I’ve had. Recommend the beef in honey&black pepper! Devine! Only thing that took away the 5* was that they are cash only & I personally don’t often carry cash. If you do then great!!

Stodgy, gluepy… S&S chicken HK style taste metallic… Satay chicken is rank! Chicken is never consistent! Taste like old broiler chicken at times!

I visited this Chinese recently as my usual one was closed for some reason, but what an utter disappointment as the food was absolutely disgusting. I ordered a Chinese king prawn curry with egg fried rice from the young lady at the counter, but was informed that it is cash only so I had to firstly go to find a cash point to get some money out, then after approximately 10mins my meal was given to me by the chef & after getting back to my accommodation I opened the lid of the curry and it looked mainly sauce but was just swimming in oil, it looked a strange colour & disgusting with hardly any substance to it, the rice on the other hand did look nice as it was a light brown with bits of egg in it, but when I tried to fluff it up to put on my plate it was just a solid lump & was difficult to squash it down to put the curry on top, the curry itself was just a greasy sauce with mostly mushrooms in it, not even much onion & I only had 4 small so called king prawns that were so hard that I had difficulty cutting one, the entire meal was so disgusting that I got up & threw it into the bin, a complete waste of money after the effort it took to get there.

Sky used to be the best around but have gone downhill terribly. Such a shame, the same thing happened to the Chippy next door they took over. We now have two takeaways side by side which have gone from the best to the worst. Not recommended

Was recommended to try this takeaway, ordered for delivery. Ordered chicken chow mein, prawn toast and other meals. Chicken chow mein looked as though it had been re cooked 2 or 3 times, no flavour and chicken was dry. Prawn toast was so rubbery couldnt chew it. Wont be going back

Having used Sky take away for a number of years and had really good meals, on our recent take away we found the MSG content to be particularly high which caused me to suffer heart palpitations lasting around an hour with a headache as well. Can only think maybe a new Chef since our last meal, we probably won't use them again, such a shame.

I spotted the reviews on my last visit and decided to give them a try. The egg fried rice was over-cooked and no egg. The pork was tough and all was generally tasteless. It was edible if you are hungry and there was plenty of it but sadly nothing good to say.

actually feel as bit gutted after reading so many excellent reviews and recommended by family etc..., we had Spare Ribs and Chicken with Cashew Nuts but was very, very average, tasted ok but really didn't look that great - will give it another go in a few weeks as hoping this is just a "fluke" like all the best ones seem to have occasionally

Best Chinese takeaway in Burnham on sea. Portions are huge, chicken balls and special curry are to die for, fast delivery, lovely staff. Highly recommend

We has Chinese deleverd for the first time from Sky and it was easy to order over the phone and speedy delivery. The food was just amazing chow main chips sweet and sour chicken balls were great and great size portions we also had curry sauce and bbq sauce. The food was hot filling and won't go anywhere elce from now on. Thank you Sky 👌😁

Delivery arrived 10 minutes earlier than expected. Large portions, ordered a 'Create your own C' and had 4 large meals. Delicious food and great value for money. Very happy.

Best Chinese in Burnham, big portions, lovely meat, we love the special curry and the sauce is beautiful, decent prices and so quick.

Was told it would be delivered within 45 mins actually arrived in 35mins, the delivery chap was lovely. Apart from 1 small piece of beef everything was excellent, this was our first time ordering from here, we will definately be back😊

This is the best Chinese takeaway in the area. Huge portions, thick slices of top grade meat and prawns, thick lovely sauce and ribs. Very impressed.

We use this Chinese on every visit to Brean, unfortunately they won't deliver to Lodge/Caravan parks, I get it, it must be frustrating not getting paid if someone doesn't meet the driver. It's a shame though I think if you made them pay by card over the phone and arrange to meet at the reception you could take a lot more trade. However those are the rules and we respect them, Especially when the food is so amazing, the order is taken so swiftly and correctly. We drive to pick the food up and by the time we arrive back at the lodge the food is still very hot. Awesome thanks again see you next year.

They have told me I can no longer order for delivery!!!! Shame I will use someone who knows how to get the correct address !!! Unlucky as I have recommended you ! I will be reversing this . Ordered over the phone as usual for delivery never has a bad meal but I did mention that last takeaway there were only 3 cashew nuts in the chicken and cashew nut dish. This evening we spent £19 and did not even get prawn crackers. Feel that costs are being cut continually we will now find somewhere else! We were good customers

Regularly order from here and its great every time. The food seems fresh which is unlikely from a takeaway. Staff are friendly too!

Average food , main dishes were cooked okay but sauces on chow main chop suet were tatasteless, lacked ginger,garlic, tomato, soy,msg . Won’t buy again till chef changes

The most horrid takeaway I’ve ever had. If I could rate lower I would! Everything tasted off and disgusting, it was smothered in sauce yet ridiculously dry!! Nothing good about that meal. Money wasted, threw everything away. Won’t be going there again!

We have used this take away for quite a while. They deliver for a small cost. Which is great. Normally the food is great. The staff are always lovely. They only take cash so be prepared.

A friend of ours recommended this takeaway to us. The food was absolutely gorgeous,the portions were very generous and staff were very friendly and polite. Will definitely use them again.

Great takeaway. Food always spot on. Good menu choice. You can collect or have it delivered. The only downside is they only take cash. But there is a cash point in the garage near by.

We have used Sky often and always have the same 3 dishes. Tonight it was a rip off. The Bang bang chicken was pathetic. There was NO EGG in the egg fried rice and the SKY Special chow mein was not special at all! There were only 4 small slices of chicken, and one prawn cut up into 3 bits . There was NO beef and NO pork.

We were staying at Haven and ordered some food to be delivered. They can deliver direct to your caravan which is handy. I was told around 45 minutes but it turned up over and hour and a bit. guess very busy with deliveries.

Friendly staff. Takeaway or delivery. There is a small charge for delivery. The menu is very good and prices are also good. The food is very nice. Be aware They only take cash. Parking is awkward.

You sometimes have to wait for them to answer the phone but worth it. Great food, very tasty, not greasy and lots of meat. Best in the area.

Went to sky Chinese while on holiday in burnham,it’s always a problem deciding on which take away to use while away and alway positive and negative reviews on most take sways,we made the right choice good food good value,massive portions,we are not big eaters could have shared the curry plenty of food clean shop friendly staff shame they didn’t deliver to our holiday park as I think they could just charge extra for going a little further as only took us 8 minutes to get there,I would pay an extra £5 if I’m on holiday and can chill with a drink while waiting for my take away,also could meet at a reception point as easier for driver thanks again sky,try it you won’t be disappointed

Visiting the area and was told this was the best in town so gave it a try. Ordered beef chow mein and chips, it was cheap, came out quick and was hot and tasted great. Not the best I've ever had however will definitely return and recommend it.

Consistantly good food fresh no plastic chicken or beef lovely Chinese veg not just onions and carrots. bit pricy but it's worth it. Very good service very fast delivery. Honest feed back here opening hours need to be reviewed as they are closed Sunday AND Monday and no credit cards accepted which is just a pain don't often have £30 quid cash on me. Bit of a grumble will tell you 45mins so you go off and do something only to find its delivered after 25 mins!

We own a holiday home nearby and when we are there we always order from Sky. It is fantastic. The curry sauce is one to beat and the beef melts in your mouth. Love it.

First time having food from here and it was outstanding . Food was great . Great customer service too . It was a large family order we had placed and everybody thoroughly enjoyed it !! Well done to all at sky . Best sweet and sour pork Hong kong style I’ve ever had !

This is def the best chinese takeaway by far. We have tried the others, but always say its not as good as Sky's. If you want your dishes cooked without as much heat, just ask, nothing is too much trouble. They are definitely the busiest chinese takeaway by far, so if you want delivery on a weekend, you do need to order early as delivery times can be an hour. Cash only !

Really good takeaway food we ordered for 5 people at 8.50 and it arrived at 10.15. But was worth the wait and the portions are huge. Would recommend this place.

We occasionally have home delivery and this tends to be the most consistent of all the Chinese take always in the Burnham area. They have recently changed their opening hours, maybe slightly more expensive than others but the quality is better. large spring rolls are good.

Sky's is a little gem. We found this takeaway a few years ago when visiting the area on holiday and always go back each time we visit. The food is amazing and the service is excellent. We called our order through and it was ready and waiting for us 25 minutes later when we arrived to collect our food.

We read some good reviews about this take-away so we thought we would give it a try but based on the one visit we made, we were disappointed and found it was not up to the standard takeaways from our usual Chinese restaurant. The crispy duck was already shredded and was full of bits of fatty skin. The amount supplied was also less than a whole duck breast. The other dishes we had were not outstanding either, fairly tasteless and greasy. Their prices are also the highest in the area. To be fair, we might give it another go, but if it's no better next time, this place will be off our list to use.

They only take cash so be aware. They offer a delivery service but you have to pay for it. Very good menu. Great service. Good food. Easy parking around the corner. Very popular.

nearly always get takeaway here. Odd occasion could do better but nearly always hit the mark, House special chow mein excellent.

Best food around and yes it can get very busy on weekends but this shows how good the food is. Advice phone up as soon as it opens to book food as later on the phone can get busy.

I ordered 2 starters and 2 mains for a total of £23.50, I expected a decent meal but what we received was horrendous.

Friendly staff. Lot's of choice on the menu.They even deliver. ( AT A SMALL COST) They only take cash. No cards or cheques. Good value. Not bad food.

We had a takeaway from here and some dishes where good, others not so. The ribs where fantastic. The curry ok(ish.) But the special fried rice was strange. just rice (with a few peas) , one table spoon of sweet & sour sauce and chicken! I was expecting rice loads of veg, different meats in its own sauce. The chips where definitely re-fried.

Used to go but they priced themselves out of my price-bracket now and I stopped going. They deliver tho, at a cost and a time waiting, but thats a plus in their favour, in fairness

It does seem slightly more expensive but huge portions and everyone enjoyed their food, except chips, we have tasted better.

My family have used Sky for several years now and consider it to be the best Chinese takeaway in town. Without fail, every meal we have had has been cooked to order, received piping hot (even with home delivery) and of excellent quality. We have reduced the number of times we buy from there though, as it is no longer a cheap meal. In fact, a meal for 2 of us from Sky, is at least £10 more than a meal for 2 from our favourite Indian takeaway - and with less food from the Chinese.

This is the third take out we have had from this takeaway and it's absolutely beautiful, we stop a good 10 mins away from the shop so by the time we get there it's nearly ready, piping hot and great value for money!!!

Visited on Saturday night for a takeaway. Menu is good and I was so pleased to see a good range of tofu as it is my favourite. I had Szechuan tofu and it was spicy and tasty with sesame seeds - couldn't fault it. We also ordered rice, sweet and sour sauce, noodles which they added chilly to on request and hong kong style beef. All were excellent.

Whilst on holiday we ordered a Chinese from Sky at Burnham. Before we did so we had a question so sent them a Facebook message - and got a reply within 10 minutes! Ordered the food, and it was ready on our arrival.. Not the cheapest, but the food was excellent.. They didn't offer delivery to our site, which was the only negative, otherwise perfect...

Been here a few time for Chinese

I had family down and we all wanted a Chinese. Very friendly on the phone when we ordered and food was delivered exactly when they said it would be. The food was perfect and the best I've had in a while. Would definitely recommend and use Sky Chinese again.

Superb take-out and they deliver to the local camp site gate which is a bonus - very handy if you have kids and don't want to leave the camp

Absolutely great food, massive portions, bigger than the standard plastic tubs you usually get. The attention to detail is nice to see. Not your usual, basic stuff. Tastes and looks fresh. Fast service. We ordered 9 dishes and it all took less then 10 mins. The phone never stopped ringing which is always a good sign. I KNOW my Chinese, Asian and Indian foods and this is one of my favourites. Shame we're on holiday and can't visit more often.

Would rate this excellent if you could get through easily by phone. It is constantly engaged and when you do finally get through you are always put on hold.

We've had a couple of chinese take-away's while on holiday in burnham but this was far the BEST good food quick service, overall one of the best we have had. Service second to non, staff very friendly and polite thanks
