Food was lovely! I had broken down in a layby and they delivered to me so top quality service and was tasty too

Charged me £3.50 for a small portion of chips!!! £2.30 on the menu!! And the person who served me was very abrupt and unfriendly. Will never go there again. Only has one star as won't let me give 0!!

Was staying in Forest Holidays, and used this takeaway for an evening meal. Food was very good, and great value.

Had a take away - on arrival the take out is COVID aware and ensuring safety. The food was good, nice size portions and hot even after my journey home. This was my first visit here and happy .....we did have the special pancake roll - it is special the biggest I have ever had and stuffed with lovely content

As everyone knows a lot of people are having to shield or stay inside during this awful time! We’ve ordered from luckys a few time since we’ve been shielding and they took card payment over the phone twice but when we tried to order tonight they couldn’t take it because they’ve stopped card payments but we could pay by card if we went and collected the food. I think it’s unacceptable thats they expect people that are shielding who can’t leave there house to go out and get money out so they can deliver! Will not be ordering for her again can’t even treat my family to something nice to cheer them up.

Me and my mum felt sick after this I also found a bit of nine in my chicken witch put me right of the whole thing

Complete pig slop delivered Saturday. They used what looked like soggy chicken nuggets, slimy meat, and supermarket Sharwoods noodles.. Not a patch on even a poor takeaway. Rang to ask what happened to the food - they didnt want to know. If you work hard for your money then spend it more wisely than we did. Wouldn't touch this place with a barge pole in future. You try them at your peril (and put some money aside for the plumber to fix your toilet)

I'm not one to write a review like this usually however I feel it is necessary to state that this is the worst chinese I've ever eaten. I'm not a fussy man but the need the chefs feel to cut corners during food preparation is evident. Food was barely edible, must be run on a profit first, customer second basis.

I stopped by last night for a takeaway. I ordered chicken with Garlic sauce. Now understand I will eat anything x I’ve eaten raw lung in sesame oil in the depths of Korea. However this was completely indigestible I can’t really begin to describe it. There were about 50 pieces of small Lumps Which were all mashed together and came out in two lumps like frogspawn! Looks like there were small pieces of chicken covered in a pasta mess. The garlic sauce was like a thick gravy completely tasteless with a couple of tablespoonfuls of the very small garlic pieces you buy already processed in the jar. It was really really poor! Not an experience to repeat.

Whilst staying at Whitemead forest park we fancied a Chinese. Credit where it was due the food and service from this local Chinese was amazing. We have saved the number for our next visit to Whitemead where we will be sure to use your delivery service again.

Where can I start, my order that I phoned up for was not the order that came to my door. The one dish i ordered was completely wrong instead of bbq ribs i had some chicken with bamboo shoots. I asked for chicken chow main with no veg and it came with veg. The egg fried rice didn't seem cooked enough. The staff was very friendly but it's just the food that let it down

We were staying local to the are and fancied a Chinese on a wet evening, we were dubious about finding a Chinese as good as our local, but wow we hut the jackpot!! The duck rice, duck in plum and salt and pepper chicken was fantastic

Phoned and ordered a meal for delivery, told it would be approximately 30 mins. Food arrived in 15 minutes and hot. Food was excellent. Could not fault the place at all in fact would use again.

Just terrible. Set menu for 2 with giant bean sprout spring roll. The rest of it all tasted samey and dull with more bean sprouts. (apart from the rice which was nice.) Delivery was £7 which was too much as well. This is the first negative review I have ever left but I I am seething about the waste of money.

This is a brilliant Chinese takeaway and the food is great, not open on Wednesdays though sadly, they deliver locally and the food arrives really hot and in under 30 mins

Descubrimos Lucky's, casi por accidente, una noche de invierno sucia británico. La comida era excelente y sigue constantemente. El personal es amable y siempre ha estado por la de los hijos, tanto de un fond excesivamente a mediados de semana para llevar. Hemos comido una amplia variedad de platos y nunca me ha decepcionado. La única crítica que tengo es que nos hace juzgar cualquier otro restaurante chino contra Lucky's: Lucky's gana siempre.

On the advice of a local we tried Luckys Chinese. We were not disappointed. A good grub well enjoyed, Lovely Luckys.

have been going to Lucky's for 30 plus years never ever had a bad meal and the owner and staff are friendly people, miss going into the restaurant as they have closed that part now but the take away and delivery service is second to none keep up the good work everyone.

Dejó una comida para llevar - recientemente tuvimos dulce y agria pollo estilo de Hong Kong. Pollo aparece fabricados y procesados y salsa carecía de cualquier tipo de profundidad. Quizás eso es el sabor local pero no para mí. Arroz frito arroz era realmente justo y salsa de soja

Had many take always for many years. I only eat elsewhere when they are closed. Any problem with your food they will normally refund next time. Not that I have had many problems

Llamó el domingo, durante el festival de música en Coleford. Pedimos pollo tiras dulce y agria, reemplazando con curry salsa, arroz, patatas, singapore chow-mein y ahumado pollo desmenuzado con revestimiento de Hoi An, este último pecado un poco decepcionante y bastante seco. Por el contrario, estaba bien, no era demasiado caro, y tenemos otra en vacaciones.

It's not easy for me to have negative comments on any business, because they are there to make a living, but I'm sorry but both the take away meals I ordered where terrible, they just didn't taste 'Chinese' and the sauce was more like water, the prawns seemed to be boiled rather than fried

Have always enjoyed take away from "Tony's", must have been eating from here for over 20years now! Maybe it's what you grow up with but thinking back I don't think I've ever had a bad meal. Shredded beef always a favourite with us.

Staying in the local area and this was recommended as the best Chinese takeaway around so we ordered food to be delivered. I must say it was quite disappointing. Duck with sliced orange was predominantly orange and onion and chicken satay had lots of onion which is not a usual ingredient but good padding. Prawn toast was really over cooked and had a bit of a burnt taste. Afraid we wouldn't be ordering from here again.

One of the very few takeaways open on a Monday night in the area, very good service and tasty food - free prawn crackers with orders over £13.A notice says that the restaurant was closed at the end of May.

We got some takeaway from this place whilst on holiday in the area.The man behind the counter was friendly and offered advice on some of the dishes.My husband ordered char Sui which was served on a bed of pineapple - never known this before but hey ho!The food was nice but not amazing. Prawn crackers tasted a bit past their best.

Not clear from the outside this place is a restaurant as well as takeaway, you have to ask at the takeaway counter for a table and they open a side door and there's loads of tables in quite a smart and clean room with a big bar. We only knew from the TripAdvisor reviews to ask and almost left it thinking it must be closed. Just a few tables taken when we were there so a bit quiet but the owner is friendly and the food is very good.

Had 2 separate meals during a recent stay at Forest of Dean. The food is great and recommended by locals. They also deliver, even to the camping site or lodge door.Staff very friendly. I would recommend.

Though from outside this doesn't look much, we ate in as a group, the food was great and plenty of it, and the service was friendly. What more do you want. I recommend booking ahead as the restaurant isn't open all week.
