Ordered a takeaway consisting of several dishes. The standard was excellent as usual. We live close by so were able to collect, so piping hot. Cost was well under £60 and after eating until very full we were able to freeze up a further six meals, brilliant.

We had takeaway tonight wish we hadn't bothered! We gave the order as soon as they opened so you would expect fresh cooked food, chips I'm sure we're yesterday they were dry & the food was tasteless & very sweet, never again, I'll cook my own food next time rather than throw money away which is where our food went.

Pork balls doughy and undercooked. Chicken with veg too salty. Have had stomach ache all night and the the runs since early morning. I love Chinese food, but l will not order from Mings again.

As take aways go this is one of the best I’ve used. Polite telephone manners, accurate ordering and prompt delivery. Portion sizes were large, sauces tasty and overall the lasting memory was one pleasant recall. Prices keen. Definitely 5*

Food was bland , bits of the chicken was very pink, absolutely no flavour at all , can honestly say it’s the worst Chinese I have had in years, should be charged under trades description act, no way is this authentic Chinese. Not cheap either a

The food from here is delicious with an excellent selection to chose from. Staff really friendly and helpful. Be great to see the restaurant open again in the future.

Moved here in February and have tried the two Chinese takeaways in town and then this one, all agreed this was the best of the three, we have had a number of takeaways and all of been good value. One criticism was one night we ordered a delivery and we were promised less than an hour and it was nearly a hour and three quarters. But the food is excellent

After only 23 minutes the Ming Garden delivery driver arrived with our hot food in his hands, and I was shocked at his speed as I never get a takeaway so quick. We hadn't hd time to get cash and had incorrect change but the man kindly declined to wait for us to rush and just accepted what we had! On top of that, the food was delectable! Piping hot with exquisite flavours, my Szechuan vegetables were to die for, and my friend reported his House Special Chow Mein was the best he'd ever had. 100% would visit again, thanks Ming!

We live in Brixham and ALWAYS use Ming Garden for our family delivery. Phone is always picked up after a few rings, friendly service, menu is good and delivery is super quick. We have never been disappointed with any of our orders!.

While on holiday in Brixham we have ordered takeaway meal from them, super quick service, beautiful food, it was nicer than our favourite Chinese takeaway at home.

Visiting sister who now lives in brixham. This is the first time we have used Ming Garden. We ordered 5 different meals .. all reasonably priced, delivery was 45 mins and delivered as stated. Food arrived hot and all meals were gorgeous. Not greasy and tasted very fresh. Would definitely visit again, thank you

We were on holiday in the Brixham area & ordered a takeaway between a large number of family members. The food was hot & the service was pretty decent. The food we ordered was varied, so we had quite a few different dishes. Our food was ok, not the worst, but not the best Chinese takeaway we have tasted, hence the average rating. Would give it a 3 & half star if I could rating wise. One of the meals we ordered was a chicken satay, it had pineapple in it????? I’ve had this dish in plenty other restaurants & takeaways but never had pineapple in it, needless to say it was a bit unusual and the pineapple was removed. The other dishes we ordered were ok & everyone else seemed to enjoy them.

We Have never tasted food of such low rating, food was bland , beef was very poor quality where it was like chewing on Sinew and tough meat, chicken was hard and old, pork didn’t taste of pork and there was no Chinese authentic flavours. The prawn toast was burnt , curry sauce runny and no curry flavours, plus no prawn crackers were delivered. The veggie chow main was (just about ) edible . Will definitely NOT be ordering from here again.

Have had better takeaways from this place, it’s really gone down hill! Last nights takeaway was the worst I have ever had! The food was inedible! Will definitely be going back to using their sister takeaway “Wongs”! Spareribs were as tough as old boots and the pork balls were obviously re cooked a few times as the meat was so hard!

I have used this Chinese takeaway quite a few times now even tonight. it has a sister takeaway called Wong’s House I had used them a lot of the time previously , I thought that these would be similar however Mings garden carries a wider choice of meals on their menu, their delivery is speedy food is piping hot, their staff are very friendly and have a excellent telephone manner when taking your order, sometimes it’s a lad or girl that takes your orders, also they use different delivery drivers one is named Dennis he’s very friendly and has a good sense of humour. I have tried many dishes Cantonese style sweet and sour dishes are excellent the Salt and pepper chips are to die for also their Banna fritters.

Not ordering again as have gone to another establishment in Brixham.Ming Garden forget prawn crackers time and time again. Delivery lady bought my food last time and was incredibly rude to me about me living on a new build so she could not find me easily. Having delivered takeaways myself in the past, I never acted like this. Maybe use your initiative and ask, phone or look it up on Google! Still, in 2018 do not take cards so I have gone to a better takeaway who delivers on time, are friendly and take cards. They also bring my entire order every time.

We use Ming Garden on quite a regular basis. Love the Spicy dishes and the pancake rolls are the best ever. Usually told 45 mins to and hour for delivery but has never taken that long. The man taking the orders is very good and friendly.

Ordered a delivery they tried to charge five pound more than it was.iasked the man to go through the order to check it and was told we either pay up or cancel .so please be careful when you order as you will be cheated.

Ordered a takeaway first time yesterday, can't fault it, only mistake was a sweet and sour pork ball mixed in with sweet and sour king prawn balls and a prawn ball in the pork balls! Wouldn't matter really only one of us don't eat fish! Other than that will definitely use again!

Just bought a Chinese takeaways for Valentine’s Day and felt compelled to write a review because it tasted so good! Best Chinese takeaway we’ve had in ages, will be our local now and will totally recommend.

It started ok was told it will take 45 mins to get the order but it was more like an hour and 20 mins later we got it, then they forgot to give me all the order. So we called them about this and got told it was on its way again we are still waiting We did also pay for delivery as we were on holiday and didn't know we're it was.

Late evening snack, have used Ming Gdns many times always super food. Whenever u call always helpful and polite. Thank you.

On holiday in Brixham, decided to give Ming gardens a go again. Superb meal, lovely waitress ! Huge portions ordered far too much refused doggy bags as going home the following day. Really great value for money, will go again when in the area.

We have continued to eat in the restaurant after the new owners took over from Kamboat Pete. I never thought I would state it but it is even better. The restaurant is currently being updated with aircon and heating. That means Pete's electric heaters are off for recycling.
