The best restaurants serving Chinese food in South West

Had our dog with us so couldn't eat it so we ordered a takeaway. Quick service. Food was very good, we had the set meal. Lasted us over 2 nights. You got a lot for your money. Definitely worth a go.

Food was lukewarm/ cold, poor choice. Would even dare to say it was from previous evening or lunch. Sauces were watery, chips dry and hard and the noodles weren't much better. Sweet and sour sauce tasted vinegary. Very sub standard food. And lastly, keep away from the toilets.. you can smell the dampness / mould. Don't think they've ever seen a mop or brush

They use fake photos online to advertise for takeaway and it looks like the dish should have had multiple different vegetables but end up with cheap leftover potato and carrot strips (I think they’re leftover because of the taste and how soft and soaking it is).

We thought we'd try this Chinese restaurant, having passed it earlier in the holiday and reading reviews on here. The waitress was friendly and took our orders. Drinks came, and we awaited our starters. Only my daughter and I were having a starter. My wife didn't want one. My daughter's starters of crispy seaweed and chicken satay skewers came out. I had ordered won ton soup. My daughter had nearly finished hers by the time mine came out. The waiter apologised for the wait. Having had to wait for the soup, I have to say it was delicious. My daughter enjoyed her starters as well. When the mains came out, they came out in dribs and drabs, not all together. The rice came out, then a minute or 2 later, my daughter's main of crispy duck in plum sauce came out. A minute or so later, my wife's beef curry came out. I was still waiting for my sizzling seafood in oyster sauce! It came out a couple of minutes later. All of the dishes were really nice, but the waiters should really have waited until all the food was ready and brought it out altogether. Overall, nice food, slightly pricey and disorganised service.

Jasmins Yelverton No MORE went there at 815 ish we had are starters at around 9 because they had a big table in which is fine as it is a Chinese restaurant but are food was horrible bare in mind it's are 8th time going there and food was great we were still charged 90 pound for something worth probably 20 pounds worth of Chinese all are food was really bland they could just cope with the big table and rushed all are food out but because we were asking were it was would u say that's excitable. I also end up puking at the restaurant.

Visited this evening with my husband daughter and grandaughter, the food was beautiful, piping hot and plentiful. We had the all you can eat which is really good value. The staff are really helpful and friendly. My husband Is from Cornwall and we have just moved back to the area and we will definitely be coming back ! I had read some previous reviews saying decor is dated and they only like local people.... utter rubbish ! The decor is typical for a Chinese restaurant , lovely and clean and the staff are fabulous, husband has a local accent but I certainly don't and everyone was welcomed. Please give them a visit if your in the area you won't be disappointed!

We have used the Bamboo regularly over the past 1 1/2 years we have lived in Exmouth. Excellent service and catering to food allergies. Good menu and food is excellent. Delivery service great.

Absolutely delicious food - our new favourite Chinese take away! We ordered set meal B for 2. The amount of food was perfect!! I phoned ahead to change the beef in black bean to a different meal, the restaurant was more than happy to accommodate. Delivery took an hour on a quiet Sunday, so this is something to take into account if ordering when busier. But for the cost - we were more than happy! Would definitely recommend

Such a good night out , had such a laugh . Good service at the bar, place to enjoy a good night out. Would 100 💯 recommend for a good night out.

Came here last night, was staying nearby and read some good reviews. Well I have to say...food was outstanding, service and welcome was lovely...don't expect a fancy resturant as its not that, but the food was fresh , tasty and plenty of it. Extensive menu and they were all so friendly and accommodating. Value for money, second to none! Would have paid triple for what we had somewhere else!

Back to utter rubbish again. Sadly. Ordered a dry fried chow.mein got a gloopy, cold load of slop with 3 prawns. After asking them twice to make sure it was dry. The beansprouts were sickly sweet and tasted off. Total disaster don't bother.

I called up about an hour before they closed and asked if they accept just cash or cash and card, the lady just said ‘we’re closed now, bye’ and ended the call

This place is my go to as I can literally get there in one minute from my house. No they don’t answer the phone regularly but that’s because they are super busy which I think can only be a good sign. I’ve lived here just over 2 years, I have had a couple of dodgy items. In general, they work hard and the food is good and sometimes great. I’m grateful for this place when I’ve worked so much I am too tired to cook. Thank you 🙏

Poor food and sizes, massive price increases, use to be good

Always found this to be a very good takeaway. Delivery service great. Wide menu choice reasonably priced and good portions.
