The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly South West

Cuatro de nosotros acabamos de disfrutar de un memorable almuerzo dim sum en este restaurante barato y alegre, maravilloso. La calidad de la comida era fantástica y el servicio que recibimos fue eficiente, relajado y amable. Deliciosos pasteles de nabo fritos, preciosas albóndigas al vapor; preciosas albóndigas de sopa... ..de hecho todo lo que tuvimos fue maravilloso. La mejor experiencia dim sum que he tenido en años y años. Estábamos súper - lleno cuando nos fuimos y sin embargo, costó menos de £ 25 por cabeza. Un precio tan barato para un gran banquete en 2025 Londres! No hay decoración elegante aquí, pero sin duda hermosa comida.

I would like to say that I shared the delicious food in my photo with a dining companion,but I can’t,because I didn’t,it was all for me!! 🤣🤣 This is my favourite place to eat when I really want to treat myself,either eat in or collect to take away and enjoy at home,the quality doesn’t vary at all.. Absolutely amazing food..The sashimi platter is so fresh,it’s just so good! And the soft shell tempura crab,which is my absolute favourite has never disappointed..Can’t review anything else because this is all I ever have!! 🤣🤣 10/10 🤤

We were recommended and it was a lovely Chinese meal especially the egg friend rice. We had sweet and sour chicken balls, egg fried rice, chicken chow menu and crispy chilli beef. It was not greasy and very tasty, thank you

We ordered a takeaway for collection, super easy ordering on the website, all the dishes we ordered were excellent, hot and really good value for money, will definitely be ordering again

Disgraceful over priced food. Watery curry and overcooked noodles. Beef tasteless. All of itvwas bland - Would certainly not return for takeaway and would not recommend. Waste of hard earned money.

Always good food and good service. Love their tempura vegetables but I do wish they would let me order this for takeaway/delivery - we don't always want to eat in! (They say it's because it goes soggy but it crisps up quickly in the air fryer!) They've lost some business by not doing this.

Working down in Cornwall away from home for 3 months I tried most restaurants in the area but came back to Sea Palace again and again. Warm friendly welcome, pleasant charming traditional interior, not too bright, not too dark, music not too loud, popular but not not impossible to get a table in, and the food is fresh and delicious and feels cooked with care. And very reasonably priced. I just love the place. If I’m in these parts again, I’ll be going back.

Tasty food, good prices, relaxing atmosphere.

This is the first time I've ordered from Sun Wah and it definitely won't be the last. The service was fast, we ordered online for delivery. The portion sizes were large compared with other takeaways and the taste was amazing. Will definitely order from Sun Wah again.

We had a delicious Chinese takeaway from Wing Cheung House this evening, the best chinese that we've had in a long time. It was convenient to pay by card, unlike some other establishments. However, the prices are a little higher than average, and a minimum order of £40 is required for complimentary prawn crackers, which are often offered free at other places for smaller orders but I had to argue for due to my order being £37. Therefore, we've deducted one star for that & cost.

Visited 10/2/25. We were looking for something to eat early evening when visiting Penzance. We took a chance, and glad we did. The food was very good, ans May was so friendly and her service was terrific. Thank you so much, we highly recommend this restaurant. Price was very reasonable.
