Outstanding food, service and experience. All the dim sum was freshly made and of a first class quality. Staff were incredibly friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Far, far superior to anything previous had in China Town in London and elsewhere.

I’m down on holiday and seen the menu for chilli’s in the chalet and fancied Chinese so I ordered over the phone. The girl was polite and understood my order without issues. I came to collect and the manager was very polite, clearly showed me how much it was in total, she was training a new girl and she did a very good job too. The food was ready to collect in 10 minutes and was very hot. Very tasty and the food portions are perfectly acceptable. I wish I had this service at my local Chinese. Will definitely be coming back next year.

We have visited Yue many times. The past few visits have unfortunately been disappointing. The food is incredible, but the service is just poor. I asked if there was a certain food available, the server offered to ask the kitchen (after prompting), he didn’t return. When our drinks were eventually served by another server, I asked again if the kitchen had a certain food. He then had to ask someone else. The starter arrived with the main. As we ate, we felt that we were constantly being checked to see if we had finished. As I took my last mouthful of starter, we were asked if we were ready for the main. As our main was sitting prepared under hot lights, we said yes. We weren’t checked in again during the meal, and were so rushed we only had time for one drink. We have previously voiced our disappointment to the staff re service, but nothing has changed. We adore the food, but don’t know if we will back due to this. Such a shame!!

Really poor food. Not for vegetarians. Had the vegetable Chow Mein, Egg fried rice And Vegetable Spring Rolls. Found everything to be so tasteless and bland.

Come in to the shop to order take away on Saturday evening. Floor in the shop was wet and no sign was display. I Fell over and twisted my wrist and my ankle. Absolutely unacceptable. I will never visit this place again! For first you should display sign before you start cleaning your floor for second never mop the floor when your establishment is still open for customers!

I've been a customer of Wongs since the 90's but yesterday was probably the last time I bother. I ordered my food at 8.20 and was advised it would be 20 - 30 minutes tops. At 9.15 I phoned to ask where my order was and was advised it was on it's way. It arrived about 5 minutes later but when I dished it up everything apart from the rice was stone cold and inedible. I'm assuming they forgot to send the order out for delivery and it sat there until I phoned up at 9.15 reminding them. I'm assuming this as the rice was hot and nothing else was so they most likely swapped the rice for a fresh, hot portion before sending the order out for delivery and most likely assumed the rest was still hot which it wasn't. By this time it was getting late and I had little other option but to make a sandwich and go to bed! I phoned them back to advise that all the food was cold apart from the rice and the lady just said they were busy. I understand they can be busy but you can't excuse delivering COLD food to regular customers. The food cost £22.00 and as a good customer I even tipped them £7.50 on top of that as I hadn't checked the order was hot before taking delivery and I shouldn't have to should I? It's a shame as I love their food but they didn't even offer to re-cook the food and expected me to eat cold Chinese food. Asian Wok it is from now on!

We enjoyed a fabulous takeaway at home with friends. The portions are substantia, so we had inadvertantly over-ordered. But we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank goodness! - as we've been searching for good chinese cooking for some time, from exeter to plymouth, and this is head & shoulders above the others. We ordered a variety, including Duck with pancakes, singapore vermicelli, sweet and sour pork and king prawn, sambal chicken , chicken chow mein and a few sides. Everything was spot on and though many dishes were fried; they were not "heavy" or greasy. (only minor glitch were the pancake rolls were a little too thin.) Overall, a really first-class meal was enjoyed by all. The web site is a little cumbersome but you can order more/less spicy; or no pork/meat or whatever, so tailor-made to your taste. We only wish they would offer this quality of food in a warm cosy and welcoming restaurant; but it appeared to be as bleak as when we last ate in. A shame as the kitchen is evidently good.
