The best restaurants serving Chinese food in South East

Honestly the worst chicken chow mein I've ever seen. Big lumps of slimy unseasoned chicken, oily noodles and about 5 bean sprouts that looked like they weren't fit to eat this time last year. Only ordered the one thing so I'm unsure about the rest of the menu but I don't intend to find out on the basis of this experience.

Chicken chow mein was disappointing, dry noodles and little chicken. Have had good meals here before. Cash only is a bit old fashioned. Friendly service.

Came here to try the new munch my husband got food poisoning and it was disturbing.I think the girl or served was called Tamsin she was very rude,unhelpful and seemed lazy.I wouldn’t recommend a good alternative is China town there food amazing and staff are polite and a bonus is that they deliver fast and far!

Awful Chinese. It used to be one of the best around. The service was fine but. 8 very very small prawn balls tasted okay but the sweet and sour sauce was vinegary. The chicken in the chicken curry was very chewy and watery. Crispy chilli beef had no beef in and was nothing but fried batter. Overall it was tasteless overpriced and small compared to other local Chinese takeaways. Avoid!

Tasteless food! I ordered King Prawns, I got 3 😲 and they tasted soapy, not good 🤮 Really gone downhill from when it first opened, they WERE a breath of fresh air. Now, very disappointed 😥 Will not be ordering again.

We decided to give Happy Star a go. We were a bit hesitant because of a couple of bad reviews. We were really impressed, the food was delicious. It was hot and clearly freshly made.

Quick service, very reasonably priced, easy ordering process and accepts card and cash.

Absolutely outstanding! Definitely THE best Indian takeaway I've ever had. (And I've had a fair few) Don't judge me lol Seriously though amazing, fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked and the vindaloo knocked my socks off! Everything we ordered was of the highest standard. A true delight of cuisine. Excellent prices and great portions... Can't wait for our next one already. Thank you so much..

We came for the food for a good Chinese , this wasn’t the case unfortunately all the food was tasteless or dry , noodles were tasteless unseasoned and dry, the seafood frozen it wasn’t fresh, the barbecued pork was dry and our starter of Duck was so dry even my sister who has a good set of teeth had trouble eating it, such a disappointment, it all looked nice but it was flavourless , service was rush rush rush , i asked for my receipt she ran off with it and i’m afraid weve given this place another chance but won’t be returning at £140 pounds it’s not worth it

We celebrated the Chinese New Year with friends at Kei's. The short number of staff compensated with professionalism and effort during a busy day. The food seems family style, fresh and delicious. We were all happy with the fantastic service and amazing food

Leigh House what is going on again. Your food is fantastic for years and then boom!!!. Once in while it is the worst tasting Chinese ever. Have you changed the chef?? We ordered a beef dish that was so poor it tasted like it had been dosed in chemicals. The vegetarian spring rolls looked anorexic and to add were totally tasteless. This low level of quality tends to put us of Chinese food for months. Please ensure you maintain the high level of quality we are all used to especially as eating out is not cheap anymore.

Extremely unhappy with the service that I have received from Rendezvous At Yoons this evening. Placed an order at 6:36pm only for it to be cancelled less than an hour later. Upon calling to enquire why this had happened, I was given no apology, was first told that they thought I had cancelled the order & then told that apparently the driver had cancelled it. Drivers don't have the ability to cancel orders so this was clearly an excuse given by a restaurant who clearly don't care enough. I never like to 1 star businesses but on this occasion, I will make an exception. I was very much looking forward to trying this restaurant but on principle, I will never dine with them & will urge people to follow suit. Disgraceful.

Waited an hour and 50 mins for food after being told an hour, delivery driver didn’t give us change and no prawn crackers despite it being nearly £30.
