Food was delicious. Staff were very polite and chatty. I asked for extra chilli and they didn't charge me...prawn dish was spiced lot anyway. Definitely come back. Loved it. The only thing I didn't like is they automatically add on service charge and I prefer to add my own tip.

Chose from the all you can eat for £24.95 Food was outstanding best Chinese we have had in a long time. The only thing is the portion sizes for 2 is a little smaller but we order more then food. Definitely will go back again

I used to eat here once a week for years, the food quality has dropped not even a little, but it’s very poor for a restaurant that was one of if not the best in the Medway towns by far. I understand prices increase but this is a lot for the quality, there is also a 10% service charge added to your bill so make sure you check your bill. Silly things like decor in the venue hasn’t changed a lady on a table on a computer desktop not even laptop why your eating not a good look. We first asked for Thai prawn crackers these were stale so we just had usual crackers they were no problem. The smoked chicken as one of the best Iv had but last night I even had bits of bone and gristle. Seaweed no taste no seasoning crispy chill beef was soft and soggy, sweet and sour chicken sauce was very watery not what you expect. Again it’s a big shame as this was a brilliant Chinese even with a Scottish man playing bagpipes back in the day, on a Saturday night there was no way you could get a table without booking but when quality drops so does service and customers

What a wonderful place! They were so kind to welcome our surprise party of 11 after our other dinner plans fell through - and we’re really glad they did now. Everything we ate was totally delicious and a bargain price. This is a real gem of a place and we hope to book again in the future!

We went to Rendezvous to celebrate a show our Daughter was in, arriving at 9.30pm on a Saturday night. We were made welcome when clearly the restaurant wasn't expecting anyone to come through their doors at such a late hour (and certainly not a family of four!) The food was delicious and service great, the price was reasonable comparted to other similar restaurants in the area. We'll look to come again when we're not in such a rush.

We were greeted on arrival and shown to a table. We hadn’t booked but that wasn’t a problem. The service was very good as was the food. Will certainly be coming back.

This was easy to book and the manager of the evening was aware of our booking and we were quickly seated in the quiet restaurant. We each had a soft drink these were about £4.00 each which was expected . We had two platters , these were just thrown on the plate , not like any pictures I have seen . Sauces also were offered and accepted . I think the quality was ok but the way it was presented was very poor , some things overcooked and dried out e.g The dry ribs and the satay chicken were like rope although the satay sauce and chips were good . Chicken balls were enormous and nicely cooked . The duck and pancakes were good too , we also had soup . We went directly to dessert which was good . The restaurant had got busier and the service became much slower . When we asked to pay I noted that on our drinks 2x 50p had been added and when asked why the waitress said it was for soda in the orange juice , I thought that was a bit off as we had already paid over £4.00 for a large orange juice . I asked that they remove the service charge as the service had slowed and I do like to offer my own tip . This the manager refused and said she had been busy in the kitchen and left other staff to look after us . I said I felt it was unfair and would mention it in my review and she advised “ she didn’t care about that ! “ so to sum up , the food not great and presented badly , staff a bit miserable but the slim young girl with long hair was very pleasant . I wouldn’t return , a shame as I used this place off and on for years but so much competition out there , I will choose elsewhere in future .

This is a great little spot in Chatham with some excellent choices on the menu. They have a great weekday lunch day menu which is very fairly priced and well portioned. Staff are always friendly and attentive. Chicken curry is my fave and I challenge anyone to find a better one. In an area filled with similar restaurants this one is a stand out for me.

Amazing staff and service every time I come here. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. The menu offers a very wide variety of food, so there's always something new to try. Flavours are balanced and presentation is stunning. By far the best Chinese food in the area. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Asian cuisine or is looking for somewhere new to try; they don't disappoint!

The food was perfect for an all you can eat and worth the money but I was charged £82 for a £63 meal and did not realise until I was home as I didn’t have my glasses with me, I got 3 drinks and 2 all you can eat for adults and was charged either £20 more or the 25% fee for not finishing my food which would be ridiculous as I ate every single piece of food ordered. There was also two women next to us calling the owner several names and being racist and mocking her Chinese accent which made my Asian girlfriend who I was eating with extremely uncomfortable which dampened the mood.

We’ve had deliveries from here and always loved it so thought we’d go in and try what it’s like inside. Friday afternoon and we were greeted at the door by a lovely lady who got a ramp and held the door open so I could get in using my wheelchair, no problem at all getting in and we were shown to a round table by the window which was perfect for me in my wheelchair . We opted for the all you can eat buffet which is great because it’s all cooked fresh to order and hasn’t been sitting under a heat. Lamb drying out. We had dry ribs, chicken and sweetcorn soup, crispy aromatic duck, chicken chow mien, Chinese chicken curry, chicken fried rice, Szechuan prawns and chicken in black bean sauce. It was all absolutely delicious, fantastic flavours and fresh but we didn’t manage to eat it all because we both were in danger of slipping into a food coma 😂 The only downside was the toilet wasn’t accessible but I expected that because I had checked google beforehand, wasn’t a problem because my carer was able to discretely help me at the table. It was a fantastic experience and we will definitely be doing it again and again for as long as possible!

Good food at great prices however the restaurant has had an off smell as soon as you enter and this has been the case for years, if they sorted this issue then I’d a be regular.

Food was delicious but at £9.40 per portion of chow mein I'd expect a decent portion. My order arrived and the smallest portion (box) arrived. To say I was disappointed is anunderstatement. Safe to say it's unlikely I'll order again based on value for money.

Absolutely rubbish, staff rude service slow had all you can eat menu but was told what we could have, when I asked for more told couldn't and made to feel like a small child being told off, then the main well told couldn't have more chow main as was enough for eight people but clearly not, orders that didn't arrive, then the afters asked for eight coconut and was told no six was enough. Do not go as you will not enjoy.

I was lucky enough to eat here with my partner and her family. The Hong Kong style sweet and sour is among the best I've ever had and every other dish was top notch. While we don't visit her family too often this is certainly going to be a place we suggest when asked where we want to eat when we visit.

Went here on Friday 15th December for a family meal to celebrate my great nephew’s 13th birthday, unfortunately it was an absolute disaster! We were quite a large party, so decided to eat from the all you can eat menu, so we could try a variety of dishes. We had to ask twice for the starters from one end of the table to be brought out, when they did arrive the food was cold. The main courses arrived in dribs and drabs, some didn’t arrive at all, so some members of our party had virtually nothing to eat. When it was pointed out politely to a member of staff that some of the meal was missing, she was very rude and said that she felt we had all eaten our £25 worth of food! The all you can eat menu should be exactly that…..ALL YOU CAN EAT!! We didn’t order excessive amounts of food as we hate to see food wasted, but the food was cold, with accompanying dishes missing, so therefore, there was a fair amount left on the table. The staff were preoccupied with their takeaway orders and didn’t seem to be interested with our party at all, which was such a shame as it was a landmark birthday celebration for my great nephew, and as he really enjoys Chinese food, chose to go there himself. Needless to say, we won’t be visiting Rendezvous again!

Would not recommend... my great nephews 13th birthday meal group of 12 . Very slow service. Starter's small portions in dribs & drabs portions missing. Mains I had a prawn curry it had 4 prawns in a couple of spoons of sauce the rice did not come out ..other people's didn't turn up at all .. we complained but staff were just rude..we didn't feel like we had eaten much all left still hungry very disappointed . Will not be going back... NO WAY!!!!

Great food - as much as you like - and cooked freshly - no pots and heat lamps for food to wither away under here. Wide range on the EAYC menu - good value too - better than the slop served up as Chinese food elsewhere. Combine that with a nice restaurant - and keen attentive staff - and its a winner - its the best sit down in Medway by a long distance

I came in here to give my opinions of Yoon's, from the last time when my friends and I – a group of workmates – dined at Yoon's. Then I read other recent reviews, and was struck by how similar – nay, identical – our experiences were to theirs. Horribly rude owner/server, not enough food for everyone in the party (even though we all paid for so-called "all-you-can-eat"), having to wait for hours to get our food, the owner prioritizing Chinese customers over English customers like us, now being allowed to order certain items from the "all-you-can-eat" menu, being told that we were not allowed to order anymore, once again, even though we paid for "all-you-can-eat".... It all happened to us as well! At least Yoon's is consistent, consistently bad and rude! If we can't eat all we can eat, why is it called "all-you-can-eat"? Why is the owner so cheap as to not allow us to order expensive items on the menu? Why put them on the menu in the first place? If the owner doesn't enjoy serving food to customers, why does she have a restaurant??? All in all, it was a horrible experience at Yoon's, just like everyone else experienced. I would not recommend Yoon's to my worst enemies.

At the restaurant and on their Facebook page, Yoon's claims to offer "all-you-can-eat" menu for £23.95 per person. In fact, this is false. Here's what happens. 1. Yoon's indeed has a very large "all-you-can-eat" menu from which you can select. However, you are not allowed to order anything you want from the menu. You can only order certain items that the owner, who takes the order, approves, usually low-cost items. If you order high-cost items from the menu, the owner simply tells you "You can't order that. It's too expensive." 2. You don't always get all the items you ordered. You might order six items from the menu, but receive only four items. Others (usually the more expensive items) are conveniently "forgotten." 3. Even though it claims to be "all-you-can-eat" menu, the owner actually keeps track of how much you ordered. Once the items you ordered reach a certain amount, the owner simply tells you, "You can't order anymore. You've had enough." What kind of all-you-can-eat menu is this??? That's not how all-you-can-eat works! This restaurant used to be excellent, but has recently gone downhill (even though the food is still excellent). We will not be going back. There are better options in Chatham.

Visited with friends for a pre theatre meal. We all went for the all you eat option for £23. We had mix platter, meant to have 1 of each thing for all 6 of us. Only 4 prawn toast, over cooked satay sticks, disgusting gluppy dips. Next course, the duck wraps. 9 wraps between 6 of us, minute portions of salad and sauce, had to ask for more continuously. Our mains were not great. Tasteless. My pad Thai was burnt and more of a chicken chow me in. No Thai ingredients or peanuts as you would expect. Hot and sour soup was the most unpleasant thing I have ever eaten! Although pleasant the service was very slow, asking 3 times for drinks on more than one occasion. When we paid our bill, we were given 3 mints between 6 of us. This used to be a lovely restaurant, but we won't be returning.

On the restaurant's Facebook page, the owner complains that her customers were rude to her. Well, what did she expect, when she herself treats customers horribly? You get what you dish out. If you mistreat your customers all the time, the customers will naturally reciprocate. Who goes to Yoon's to eat, anyway, when Spoon is right next door and Confucius is just down the road on the other end of the High Street? If you want good food served by good people, go to Spoon or Confucius. Only go to Yoon's if you enjoy being treated like absolute dirt. Even though all the food is delicious, it's not worth it being treated horribly by the owner of the restaurant.

I LOVE this restaurant, it's the best choice for parties or just dinners. It's the best Chinese restaurant ever I would recommend the pepper squid.

Sunday cook to order all-you-can-eat buffet. Absolutely appalling customer service! They would not take our orders. The owner have chosen to preferentially serve a large party of Chinese customers, while making us wait nearly an hour for the main course! They were limiting our orders ignoring their own rule of 3 dishes per person, even though we've been to this restaurant many times before and never wasted food. At the end, they rudely told us that we will not be served next time if they happen to have a larger party, because apparently, and I quote, - "we eat too much". Shocking!!! Well, guess what? There won't be a next time. It's no surprise that this place seems to be mostly empty, while "Spoon" buffet next door at their busiest times have customers waiting to be seated despite have huge capacity of 300 people! They offer fantastic choice at a lower price. Everyone is welcome and no one is treated as a second rate person. Besides, they don't count every piece of shrimp on their customers' plates!

Absolutely appalled, made a pricey order of £70, the driver had been on the road with our food half an hour. Turns up at the door and the food has spilt in the bag. She literally runs away from the door and says she can't do anything about it. But before she leaves tells us she had two drop offs before ours one of which is 20 minutes out from our house! Rang Yoons and they completely shirk all responsibility and refer you to Uber. But I didn't spend £70 with Uber. The food is clearly poorly packaged and is in a complete state and cold on top of that. No responsibility from Yoons or Uber so you get terribly packaged, spilt, cold food and nowhere to go. Easy get out clause that the delivery is nothing to do with them. But surely they decide the amount of stops with their delivery partner and half an hour for delivery should be unacceptable. Surely they should have some responsibility towards the people they use to deliver food. The customer service is atrocious and the person on the phone proceeds to tell you to put it into perspective. I guess it's because they are not £70 down. Has anyone thought about the end customer spending money and getting complete c**p delivered. I deliver from this restaurant. Meals are always hot, straight from the stove to my delivery bag, to the customers. For those dining in, the atmosphere is superb. Nicely decorated, clean, wonderful staff.

We visited here from the reviews here on Google, the staff helped us in as my wife uses a wheelchair, Firstly the drinks prices for a restaurant are very good indeed £3.50 for a single G n T is really good value. They offer both a normal menu and an all you can eat option too. We chose the normal menu as my wife would not eat the value of the all you can eat. The food came out nice and promptly and was very tasty indeed, what I liked is that it wasn't over seasoned. The older lady who I presume is the owner double checked that what we ordered was ok, which was a nice touch. All in all it was fine my only criticism is that the room that you ate in was too brightly lit for my taste and spoiled the atmosphere a bit.

Been going here ever since I was in school. Good food, nice staff. One of the only truly nice places to eat in Chatham. They are also very respectful of dietary restrictions, if you're vegetarian and you would like something altered slightly to make it veggie friendly they will listen.

I ordered a meal just for myself; Singapore Noodles & Special fried rice. Both were beautifully tasty & what I loved & it was a surprise was that the food was in cardboard containers not the plastic one's of old! Delivery time was excellent, not to quick. I don't order many take out food but I'll definitely order from here again! 10/10

Was wandering around Chatham and stumbled upon Rendezvous and thought I’d try. I was the only customer. Cash only. The restaurant was freezing. No table cloths and after the food arrived had to ask for a plate and chop sticks or cutlery as the hadn’t supplied! The restaurant is geared up for take away and Deliveroo who had collection every 5 minutes. It was off putting, Food was nice enough and well presented, but service and ambience let it down.

Avoid! Ordered through deliveroo, half of the order was missing on arrival. We rang the restaurant to complain and ask for the rest of the food to be delivered and they accused the driver of stealing the food instead of them not putting it in the order. Don’t order unless you want half of your meal.

The 4.3 rating doesnt make any sense. My egg fried rice was boiled rice with egg sprinkled on it. This place is absolute disgrace to Asian food DO NOT GO HERE

I had a sore craving for something rich and salty on a cold winter night and my favourite Thai was not delivering. This place came up as delivering Thai food and I said what the heck I'm desperate because Im not a fan of Chinese food. I was surprised and excited by the interesting items of the menu and order the slow braised pork belly with 5 spices and steamed rice. It arrived very promptly and I was really happy that the rice came in a carton which reduces the plastic waste of take away food. I was really blown away by how delicious this was. The port was soft as jelly and unctuous. There was not MSG inside, nothing sticky or cloying. Ive living off the leftovers since the and it as good the next day. Salty umaminess was just right and hit the sport. I cant wait to go to the actual restaurant and try out all the other interesting dishes. I'm thinking of bringing a few friends to celebrate my birthday. A wonderful addition to the Medway food scene!

Simply the worst Chinese take away I've ever tasted; expensive, dripping in fat, tasteless. Avoid. Only ordered from there as it was the only option available on a Tuesday. Don't make the same mistake.

Looking for a nice Chinese restaurant and stumbled on Rendezvous at yoons. Unfortunately, they were not taking any reservations, only open for take out. My partner and I brought a ray of food. The starter costing £15 was nice but the rest was not up to our standards. The duck was very dry and the spare ribs were very fatty. The steamed king prawns cooked in garlic sauce tasted very bland not a Chinese restaurant we'll be using again

Cancelled our order with no notification. We'd been waiting almost an hour. Unsatisfactory.

I do not know how this is 4.3+ the food is not fresh and tastes clearly like it has been defrosted or is very poor, cheap quality. The staff are rude and overall it is cheap quality, which could potentially be a health risk. DO NOT GO HERE! If I could give 0 stars I think that is more worthy.

Ordered takeaway from this place on 11/05 for vegetable with scallops. Not a single scallop found in the dish. Called them 5+ times and they did not pick up. All the other foods were very much mediocre.

Food very disappointing, definitely not worth the price. We ordered some duck pancakes and the duck was clearly old and very dry, all but crispy. The ramen was very very bland and the laksa was clearly made with a ready mix that wasn't even dissolved properly - all the granules where at the bottom of the bowl. Don't really know how is possible it has good reviews, maybe we've just ordered the 'wrong food'. But what would you order from an Asian restaurant of not ramen, laksa and duck? Anyway, would not order from this place again and would definitely not recommend.

I am so disappointed with the total lack of customer care at this place. Having eaten in and had a bad experience we thought we would give them another try when we saw they were delivering on Just Eat. We were happily surprised by the food, it was lovely, and hoped that this would become a family favourite during lockdown. Sadly a few days ago we ordered and watched the tracker on Just Eat. We watched the driver icon come up our street and got all the cutlery and plates ready. Then the driver appeared to pull in to a road around the corner. We waited. Then the tracker page disappeared and it came up as "Food delivered". Disappointed we called the restaurant and explained that we thought our food had been delivered to the wrong place. The very uninterested girl just said that it was an issue for Just Eat, not them. Ok so maybe the delivery is the responsibility of Just Eat however why did the restaurant not seem to care that we had paid them but not received anything at all? Surely a place worth it's salt would apologise, maybe even offer to help in some way. I assume the delivery driver would go back to the restaurant at some point, yet they never even thought to ask what had happened to our order? They just basically said "tough luck" and hung up. Obviously they don't care one bit about their customers. Really disappointed because we liked the food but can't risk loosing money again. Still in the long and arduous process of trying to claim our money back from Just Eat. Absolutely day light robbery.

Absolute filth!!paid £7.50 for 2 manky bits of (fake)scallops lol on some shell type thing 😂with about 10 strands of noodles it was horrific and wouldn't feed a one year old kid!the soup tasted like s*1t!!half was spilt into the (fake)scallop dish..the lady wouldn't even apologize but didn't expect anything less tbh..so i complain to UBER who deliver for them,and all they did was refund me 3.50 for the soup the cheap skates lol!rant over 🈴㊗㊙🈹🈵over AND out!

Very tasty food, including more authentic Chinese food. Very reasonably priced and fantastic service. Ordered a meal for 7, food was fresh, hot and good portion sizes. Will definitely be back again, whether for takeaways or big celebration meals! Also a nice touch with the biodegradable tubs - food well contained and easy to dispose.

I used this services last night with friend and was utterly disgraced by how rude and dismissive the staff were. I was told the food I don't eat I have to pay extra. As the night went on I discovered their Duck Pancakes had full on bone in them and I chipped my tooth on one. I then paid my bill and a member of staff said to me "No tip?". I am sorry but your correct no bloody tip! Defiantly wont be visiting again and would not recommend.

Went for lunch ordered from the lunch menu I had sesame prawn toast as a starter then szechuan prawns with egg fried rice. My partner had salt & chilli ribs as a starter then beef in black bean sauce+ sweet & sour chicken & noodles. We both had chinese tea. We were both extremly pleased with our choice of food which was very hot and very well spiced. The service was good the temperature in the restaurant was a little cool. Overall it was a good experience and an economical lunch £14.20.

My last review of this place was good, we returned new Years Eve for a very early dinner (6.30pm) and we were seated straight away. Was really looking forward to the food and was very disappointed. It took at least half an hour for the starter bits to come out and after that just went from bad to worse. We waited well over an hour for our main course and when it arrived it was literally stone cold. I complained about a dish of cold prawns and the waitress took it away, microwaved it and slammed it back on the table. All the other tables around us were having the same problem, just sitting waiting for over an hour for food. In order not make a huge scene, I went up to the bar to speak to the manager and he just did not care, he told me we were in a queue and couldn't tell me why the food was stone cold. if I had wanted to be in a queue I would have gone to mcdonalds.Absolutely appalling, never going back.

It's not tangs and any one looking for a quality all you can eat chines with a friendly staff and great food walk towards rochester and go to tangs. The food isnt bad but sady there is better and its closser

Honestly didn't enjoy it here at all. Me and my partner went here and had the 'all you can eat' and was really disappointed. Staff was really slow and only had 3 people out on the floor on a busy Saturday night! Took 2 and a half hours to get to our dessert that we then walked out because we had enough with waiting for our dessert to take away! Also thought food wasn't very nice. Would definitely not come here again and will just stick with Spoons and Tangs!

That’s the last time I use this place for take away, stayed away for about a year after being served sub standard food but thought I’d give them a try again to see if things had improved.... they haven’t! Never again will I be back.

Dont order from here food was stale and the containers that the food arrived in was damaged and torn so had to throw the food away as the owners refused to return and replace the food.

Excellent food, very fresh ingredients but if more choice on the desserts and 2nd course, i would have given a full house of ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐better than the closest competition up the road from rendezvous by far on quality, but nowhere near to them on vast variety

From the outside this restaurant is a bit dated but once through the door it's very nice, with very welcoming and attentive staff. We had an early dinner pre theatre and the food was all very hot and good.

Delicious hot dishes a plenty and good choice too greeted this served buffet style restaurant. Duck pancakes made us take 2 rounds on this tasty dish too. Clean and comfortable restaurant and attentive staff left us feeling we had excellent value from £16.90 each on a Saturday evening. Recommended

The wife and I were looking for a quick bite to eat in Chatham and were lucky enough to stumble into this gorgeous little Chinese restaurant on the Chatham high street. The decor is subtle yet distinctly Chinese, clearly a great deal of thought has gone into making this authentic yet not too ostentatious.Looking at the prices I began to worry as usually with Chinese you do get what you pay for, and with such a cheap yet variety laden memu I did think we were in for a reheated rubberized meal.My fears could not have been further from the truth. When the food came it was both piping hot and also clearly straight from the stove. We'd gone for the squid and pork ribs as starters, with the idea to share as we usually would, but both of us were loathe to give up our plates! Both delicious and tender, spiced beautifully. The mains were very much a similar quality - this time I had gone for the seafood option, being the prawn noodles, and not only were there a good number of prawns the whole meal was perfectly balanced, plenty of fresh veg and noodles to compliment. The wife had a duck noodle soup which she had almost completely inhaled before I'd even had my usual stickybeak in the broth! This was the only criticism I would find with any of the dishes... I found the soup to be very lightly flavoured and I prefer a much more robust taste, however as my wife had actually asked the chef to ensure it wasn't too spicy I think that had translated to 'light on the broth'. That certainly hasn't stopped her enjoyment though!Drinks were also reasonably priced for such a nice little restaurant. Staff were friendly and accommodating of both the spice issue and also very knowledgeable of the dishes (my wife has a peanut allergy and he guided us through the options without effort).All in all a true 5/5 restaurant, will definitely be heading back when in the area!

The service here is a bit rubbish but the food is always freshly cooked and tasty. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad meal here.

Excellent good, great restaurant, always high quality service

Wonderful meal cooked fresh and delicious. Always find the main meal after soup, starters and duck pancakes to much to finish. I have never needed a pudding. Staff are welcoming, excellent hosts and charismatic. Always look forward to visiting with the family or just me and hubby. We'll worth a visit.
