Great food piping hot on time absolutely delicious,spare ribs were fantastic as was it all

This is so bad you might as well just shut your doors and close down at this point I am so disgusted and the food was cold and stale and unpleasant and the noddles we got were all shove in a box when I say shoved it looked as someone was just pushing it down with there's hands and when I called up all they did was apologise and was unprofessional and it is incompetent do not buy from here I feel sick after eating it and it was 80 pounds for disgusting food

Sunday 25 August I had the best Chinese takeaway I’ve ever had, I ordered Singapore noodle and king prawn rice with some sauces and it was far better than previous orders from here, better quality. This was the only Chinese takeaway I found open on a Sunday too

Ordered a delivery, didn’t arrive for over 2 1/2 hours. No apology. When it did arrive driver didn’t follow directions left and couldn’t understand English enough to be directed easily. Food was no longer hot when it did arrive. Food was good, even if not hot.

Had Take Away and arrived on time , hot and delicious and Would order again . Good value for money and very tasty Delivery Man very helpful And cheerful !!!!

This Chinese takeaway is very very good the food is great and great portions of food.

Poor service worst food ever don't use. Very poor service 2 1/2 hours for when I placed my order it took to deliver it was hot, I did ring and ask and the lady put me on hold after I spoke to her then 15 mins later I hung up. food was disgusting. Chips was microwaved as you could tell as soft and the starch tastes of microwave chips yuck. Crispy beef in chilli was Soggy beef in chilli. Singapore chow mein has a strange flavour that's was not good and I ended up throwing the whole meal in the bin. Waste of time this is a real bad place don't waste your money. Do not use this terrible Chinese, don't bother to part with your money, go somewhere else and enjoy it, spoiled our takeaway night in. And please don't make the same mistake.

Food arrived quickly. Was red hot which was a nice change for a delivery. Very tasty food. There wasn't hardly any chicken in the chicken fried rice but otherwise a fantastic meal compared to other Chinese deliveries. Will definitely order again. Delivery driver was also very polite.

After waiting over an hour and a half for food to be delivered, i called them to ask what's happened to it and was told be another half an hour as not been cooked yet. So cancelled order. Won't be using again

Delivery well within the hour quoted, hot, fresh and very tasty. Happy we tried it and we'll definitely order again.

Shocking service website states a 1 hour wait for delivery waited 1.5 hours and called only to be told orde mr was going to be another 40 mins! And not one single apology from the staff.

The quality and the quantity are very much in question. All the dishes that contained onion had lots of it and little meat. I guess because of the small portion sizes it got cold very quick by the time we got it home. Disappointing when you consider the amount of competition there are in the area.

Waited 2 and a half hours for my food called 2 hours in and was told they would give me 10% off my order and a bottle of drink when driver came to my door he knew nothing about it so ending up just paying full price as I was starving and no bottle of drink not happy as they normally really good

Ordered set menu for one in advance as on my own. Arrived exactly on time with mountains of chicken. Delicious!

Ordered 9 items at 18.40 for delivery online, nothing to advise of a rough time for delivery. At 20.10 called to ask how long it would be and one phone number it said mailbox was full. Called the other number to be placed on hold, when we spoke to someone they said it hadn't been cooked yet and would be another 45 minutes did we want to go ahead with cancelling the order. It would be the same time more or less to order elsewhere so decided to wait. Called at 21.10 to ask where order was and line was busy 4 times when answered was put on hold again. Was told it was out for delivery and will be here soon. It has still not arrived at 3 hours after the order was placed, no calls, nothing to let us know. Shocking service if you can't cope with the demand levels you should employ more staff or at least tell your customers what to expect. Your better off ordering off deliveroo.

Used this place for years and found it to be exceptional, however tonight was the worst Chinese I have ever tasted. Cold, overcooked & tasteless. Complained to the restaraunt and got a poor response. Will never order from here again.

Ordered on line for 8.30 finally arrived at 9 delivery driver lovely not his fault. Chicken sweetcorn soup tasteless. Other dishes nothing to write home about really disappointing not had a takeaway since August

Ordered for a large party of 23 after speaking to a very helpful lady. Picked up on the Saturday at 6pm and our food was ready on time. Very impressed with the quantity and quality. Lovely Chinese and everybody enjoyed it. Definitely would use them again and recommend

Staying in Strood for a week and had a pancake roll from here on the first night - lovely, crisp and fresh (not dripping in oil like some other takeaways. Enjoyed it so much I had another couple of full takeaways during the week - and both of them were fabulous - highly recommended.

The New Cobham Inn which is in Frindsbury near Strood is the best Chinese takeaway my wife and I have had delivered. I ordered over the phone and was told it would be about 1 hour. Which it was. The service over the phone was great. The food on arrival was still ver hot considering we life 10 miles aware. The food was absolutely fantastic and considering the cost of gas an electric has gone up for businesses, what we paid for the food was brilliant. My wife and highly recommend The New Cobham Inn. We won’t go anywhere else for Chinese food

My wife and I ordered a Chinese Takeaway at 7.30pm on the 8th July. From the Cobham Inn near Strood. They said it would be delivered in 45 minutes to an hour. It arrived in 30 minutes. The food was absolutely fantastic. Also considering prices have gone up everywhere the price we paid was a lot lower than I thought it might be including delivery charge. My wife and I highly recommend Cobham Inn which is in Frindsbury near Strood in Medway Kent. We want go anywhere else for Chinese food

We can only say as we've experienced...great and VERY easy to order online; wonderful delivery service (our home IS NOT easy access and finding); good communicatiton; and tasty food with more than usual quality. My wife and I have used this place say 5 times now and I thought it’s time I gave a bit of feed back that it truly deserves. As I say we’ve ordered delivery 5 times every time I’ve put asap on the order and it’s come between 30 to 60 minutes. Friendly delivery driver, hot food and everything tastes amazing. No expense spared on the quality and the portions of each dish. You pay for what you get in life this place isn’t the cheapest but it’s the best Chinese we have certainly have and will definitely be going back for more!! Thank you

My meal last night was the worst I've ever had from there, I ordered some pork balls they were so dry and horrible, I also got some minny vegetable spring rolls they were also not very nice, well overcooked and didn't taste of anything, also got some chips they tasted like they were reheated and not very nice. So overall I'm rather disappointed in my meal fell there going downhill, it's usually very nice but not lasts nights. 😔

Once again my wife and I had a takeaway delivered to our home address. The takeaway was delivered in about half an hour which was great considering we live over 10 miles away. The quality of the food was fantastic, to say it was great is an understatement. It is the best Chinese we have ever had. We don’t go anywhere else.

I order a takeaway from Cobham Inn Chinese restaurant. I gave it 5 stars first because the delivery was quite quick considering I live 10 miles away. Also not only was the quality of the food was fantastic there was loads of it. I highly recommend them my family goes no where else for Chinese meals

Good food and remain certain hot temperature when delivery it to you. But place order earlier during Friday and Saturday night, they are super busy.

My wife I had a Chinese takeaway from The New Cobham Inn which is situated in Frindsbury Rochester Kent. We paid only £25 it was delivered in only 30 minutes what was amazing the quality of the food was first class but there was enough for dinner for 2 days. I have given The New Cobham Inn 5 Stars although I would like to give more than that they definitely deserve it.

Normaly lovely fresh ,tonight cos chips been sitting in bags gone all dry ,grandson had roast chicken it was over cooked and very dry not impressed

Have ordered from here for the last time. 2 weeks in a row food delivered over an hour late. Ordered food 2 hours before needed. Thought that was a good idea. Waste of time. As food arrived a further hour and a quarter late. If your hungry buy elsewhere or collect it yourself

Without doubt the best Chinese for many many miles but sadly their delivery and customer service are often terrible. We once waited well over 2 hours and no apology. Also when I rang they continuously gave updates that were not upheld. They have a track record for very late deliveries. Don’t order delivery if you’re hungry. Otherwise the food is in the top league so I have to put up with this or eat in of course.

Fast and friendly as I was sitting outside waiting during lockdown, they let me order on app and took 15 mins max and brought it out to me. Very appreciated as was nearly closing time too.

We are getting Chinese food from the New Cobham on a weekly basis now, definitely has improved as there is new management. Stop using for a while as the food wasn’t very good at one point but, is now very good. Would definitely recommend, and hopefully one day they might bring back the restaurant area for a sit in?

Phoned through order tonight Friday 29th May 2020 at 0725pm after waiting over 2 hours for delivery and phoning through twice again we finally got our order I won't be ordering from this place ever again.

The New Cobham Inn is a fantastic Chinese takeaway in Strood Medway Kent. We had meal from there last Friday. Talk about great value. The portions were huge and great value and well cooked. It took my family 2 days to eat it. Also on there takeaway menu they listed all the possible ingredients that can cause allergies. We had a great takeaway

Our usual Chinese is closed and we found this one, states on the door that they are under new management. We ordered crispy chilli chicken and the same in beef, a chicken curry, Singapore fried rice, Singapore rice noodles and some salt and chilli chips. We waited around 30-40 minutes (we collected). The food was lovely, really flavourful and definitely had a nice kick! We've ordered from here twice now as the food was so good. All round a good experience we will be ordering again

Ordered at 5pm was expecting the food to he here at 6:30. Family of 5, 2 young children. Rang up at 7 to be told I'll have to wait another hour to hour and half. As they were really busy and under staffed. If that was the case then they shouldn't be accepting more orders or ring us instead of us having to chase them up. Cancelled it and Now I have no more money because we have to wait for a refund which can take a while, so thanks we are left without any food. Won't be ordering from here again

I ordered via the Just Eat App today at 16:30 (before they were open), and asked for a delivery time of 18:00. I spent £40 on Mixed Starters for 2, Lamb Pancakes, Special Fried Rice, Garlic and Ginger King Prawns, Sweet and Sour King Prawns, placed the order and sat back. The restaurant acknowledged my order for a 18:00 delivery, took my money and I sat and decided to then read the reviews. So often these reviews are fake (both ways), rants and false praise. The common theme appeared to be late deliveries, and tough meat. I nearly cancelled, but decided to give them a chance. The food arrived warm enough, we nuke takeaways anyway, so didnt really matter too much as long as not cold. It was however 18:20, 20 minutes late, when I rang the restuarant to check my order was ok, all they could tell me was it was on the sheet as out for delivery, I told them 18:30 and I would cancel and write an appropriate review, just as I got off the phone, the driver arrived, and while late I was happy. The food was great, plenty of it, very tasty, meat and prawns very well cooked, and TBH I will order from them again. Moral of the story, dont always believe what you read on review sites. Anything you put on Google is pretty much permanent and the reason why ranters use this method. Just Eat reviews can be pretty suspect, but give the local guys a chance, I do. They get 3 strikes, if my order is very late, incomplete or inedible, I will tell them on the phone, and write a non-rant review, but 3 strikes I'm never coming back, a few local restuarants no longer receive my orders.

Ordered food at 19:20 and did not receive food until 21:40. Food was poor and very greasy, won't be ordering from here again.!!!!

Good Chinese takeaway very quick service

Been using these for over 5 years and they were hands down the best Chinese ever and loved the dine in atmosphere. That part is now closed down. The last year or so it’s massively gone down here. Slow, greasy and the meat is so tough. My last two deliveries have been 1.5 hours long and then there were things forgotten in the bag. So yeah, I’d avoid now. Lucky star on Bligh way is so good, about the same standard these used to be.

Terrible service! Waited over 2 and half hours for our takeaway, and unable to contact the restaurant as they wouldn’t answer any of the phone numbers they provide! Had to contact just eat and get them to cancel the order in the end! Waste of time and effort! Will not be trying again any time soon!

Terrible experience food was already 30 minutes late, and not even cooked, couldn’t give an eta, couldn’t care really, first phone call was answered and just left on the counter, it was very much tough take or leave it. Cancelled order in the end.

We were staying at a nearby caravan park so they probably weren't bothered about potential repeat business! Food was awful! All the meat was dry and chewy.. Definitely not freshly cooked food! We spent £54 and didn't eat over half of it! The only nice thing about the place was the Lady that answered the phone!

Food was awful... I will never eat from here again. Fortunately we used Just Eat and although the manager refused to give us a refund... She was rude and would not listen I contacted Just Eat and they arranged a full refund with no issues. £50 we spent and probably threw £40's in the bin!! Never again!

Disgraceful waited an hour and half when i called the restuarant to be told that my food hasnt been cooked as a driver has gone home sick. When i said in complete shock that my food hasnt even been cooked i had a sarcastic answèr well if we cook it now it will be cold. Then got told that they are busy and it will be ready when its ready. Top service

This is the worst Chinese I've EVER ordered from waited 2 and half hours for freezing cold poorly cooked cheap quality food, to then have one of our dishes missing. When called to complain told driver will come and collected the food we needed money back to reorder from else where they then took another hour and half and only refunded half the money 2 kids went to be with a sandwich as had to miss the takeaway treat because this disgusting service. VERY BAD all round Chinese AVOID

I ordered over £20 worth of food from this establishment. Having good meals here before, I went for a takeaway. The duck with plum sauce came with pineapple which I found to be quite weird, so I contacted them as I believed the order was wrong. I was told that a replacement can be sent, but by that time the rest of the food would have gone cold, so I asked to take the whole lot back. Apparently I could have just taken the pineapple out of my dish… it's already contaminated the sauce so it's not that simple. The order was taken back but wasn't given any apology or refund. Ordered a pizza from Domino's instead. Can't go wrong with that.

Last time I had a delivery it was lacking and with a delivery time of 1hr 50 mins took the mick this time what a complete waste of £50 kung po was full of red thai chillies which was near enough inedible graveyard which tasted what I believe old dish water would taste like. rubberised chicken balls/fingers. Over done deep fried oily spare ribs in a Jank sause which I can't describe or a associate with any kind of sause rubberised salt and pepper crispy chicken well you get the idea never again

Do not ever order from this takeaway! Greasy, disgusting, terrible food. Had one mouthful and threw the whole lot in the bin. Had to leave one star just to post a review. It really doesn't even deserve that.
