Went here as nearby Lemon Tree is closed for August. Best go M&S for a ready meal than get a takeaway from this place, worst Chinese in some time, yuck, yuck!

Nice food but they dont do sausage! Which while waiting for my food, i could hear the staff discussing in chinese the fact i asked for a sausage.

Had a lovely takeaway from here , I had the special curry, which was very tasty ,others in my party had the prawn balls and sweet n sour , again very tasty and decent portions

Always come here best in area, however this time served by very young staff who left my order on the side for 15 mins. Perhaps they need a little training, particularly not to concentrate on their phone and more on the customers 🤔

This is a good Chinese takeaway. I love there curries they are unique to them, as they are different to all other chinese curries i have tasted.

Good food but a little understaffed

I ordered a plain noodles and a bean curd dish yesterday lunchtime and took it away to eat. I had one mouthful before realising it contained pork. Having not eaten meat for over 40 years this was very upsetting. I went back to shop and requested a refund. The very curt server reluctantly tried to refund but instead charged me a second time. She finally managed to refund the second charge but not the initial refund. Having used this takeaway for years this was a truly awful experience and will never order from them again.

I have been using this takeaway for years, I have never experienced a bad dish, if I did I would not recommend it, food is great always hot and friendly staff 👍

Was my go to Chinese takeaway for some 20 years but now the quality of food is way below the high standards it once was.

Had to walk out because the lady behind the counter's attitude is so bad.. Honestly can't see how anyone completes a phonecall or order with such bad manners..

The woman taking orders was very rude. She got our order wrong because she was answering two phones at once. When we called back to ask where the rest of our order was she refused to believe us and accept the mistake.

I had high expectations as they were VERY BUSY!! usually busy places are supposed to be good.. wrong. From someone who lived in China before for a long period of time, this food is AWFUL at best. The special fried rice was not good, the pork inside looked and tasted old. The prawns tasted like plastic… the beef with oyster sauce tasted rankkkkk to say the least. Honestly, we didn’t eat more than half of each dish, can safely say never again..

Food is okay, but the lady who takes the orders is sullen, unfriendly and rude. Never says please and thank you. She is not at all suited for a customer facing roll in the catering industry. I encourage all to go elsewhere until she appreciates customers have a wide choice of takeout suppliers around here. Vote with your feet, even if Wan Ying is the closest this takeaway needs to learn people can easily boycott the business. An improvement in attitude would cost nothing at all and be very beneficial to them.

Food served without sauce and hardly any meat in dish

The best Chinese takeaway for miles and miles. They never disappoint. The staff are friendly and your orders are taken quickly. Plenty of parking on the forecourt. You may sometimes have to wait a while but then the best is worth waiting for!

Ordered food as I picked it up I asked for satay sauce she went mental ITS GOING TO TAKE 40 MINUTES worst customer service ever ! Food is good though if you can take abuse from the front desk it worth it 🥱

The best, most flavoursome, tastiest dishes you'll ever hsve. Better than a restaurant any time I would recommend the prawn balks, beef and chilli no 19, the duck of course, and Sichuan ginger prawns.

rude people , food was supposed to be cooked fresh, NEVER , if you want to be insulted and eat crap, then this is the place to go.

I called through a large order for six people, I collected the order, went home and upon opening the containers the lemon chicken, salt and pepper squid and aromatic lamb looked overcooked and dry. The squid was so dry and crispy that it almost was too hard to eat. The lemon chicken was overcooked and so was the aromatic lamb. Safe to say none of us enjoyed the food and most of us left it uneaten. I complained to the lady at Wang Ying House who informed me that the food was all cooked fresh, it did not taste like it was cooked fresh that day. I was asked to bring back the uneaten food so they could inspect it themselves, no apology, I managed to get a partial refund however the rest of the food was thrown in the bin. Avoid this place at all costs.

I used to come here nearly 30 years ago and it was awesome. Obviously changed hands several times since then but tried again recently because of the lock down and was blown away by the quality and value. I agree with another reviewer you must try the chicken and cashew nuts in yellow bean sauce it is just out of this world but everything is great. Service is second to none and I now go every week, also sometimes squeeze a cheeky lunchtime one in. Go there if you love Chinese food you won’t be disappointed 😎🤛🏻

The meal I ordered was terrible rice was all stuck together chow mein was dry and breaded prawns were like cardboard and over cooked I've been using this take away for many years this was the worst meal I've had from them

Very small portions and staff are not very freindly would much rather prefer top Wok at ashford or dragon Wok at ottershaw. Dont deliver either so all in all just not a very good chinese for me

Staff were extremely rude, paid for my food then asked me to comeback in half hour, when I came back they had the cheek to ask me had I paid, when I got home they had given me a chicken chow main instead of a beef one. Will not be returning spending my money in a place, where staff are so rude.

Tried this takeaway for the first time recently. The food was very good, ordered over the phone and it was ready we arrived for collection. It is probably the best Chinese takeaway in the Staines area at the moment.

Yes, a small takeaway restaurant on a nondescript parade of shops. I have lost count of the number of times I’ve eaten food from here - it would exceed 1,000 that’s for sure. Many dishes provide significantly better than average quality for fast food & respecting the years this restaurant has been in business it’s ‘never got tired’ or lost its edge. Kung Po King Prawns are a must 👍 Enjoy

Very clean Chinese takeaway , Good quality food menu is available to select according your taste. Cars can park in front of the takeaway, food service is very quick. Check the price range of the food and tell the menu number to order taker. Lady at the counter never ever smile to customer.

Had food from here many time before but tonight was the first time we didn't enjoy it. We were told at the time of ordering that we would have a 45 minute wait. No problem with waiting as long as we know. It was about 45 minutes and when we got the food home it was cold and stodgy. I'm guessing that they were so busy they weren't interested in the quality. Normally have a 15 to 20 minute wait and the food is lovely. Next time we are told of a long wait we will choose something other than Chinese.

Never been before but certainly not going back. We called in an ordered a takeaway meal for two. We can only think that the women on the counter/chefs had far to much to do hence our appalling order. She was answering two phones, taking walk in orders and giving them out, although well done to her. My wife told her that she had a severe allergy to mushrooms and she was assured that her dishes would have none. The won ton soup had mushrooms in, never before have we seen that, and the sweetcorn and crab-meat soup was so salty. We then opened what we hoped to be house special chow main with assorted meat... This turned out to be the vegetarian option!!! . My dish was squid in a ginger and spring onion sauce this was tasteless. The only thing we enjoyed were the prawn crackers.

My go to place for Chinese food. Good food, fast preparation and well priced. What's not to like.

Got a takeaway for the family. Good food the Singapore noodles are great and the sweet n sour chicken fresh and tasty. The wonton soup was also very good. We also ordered beef in black bean sauce with rice also very good. Recommend a visit!

Been getting takeaways from here for years staff seem to change but food is always top notch. Very fast order food ready to collect 15 mins unless they are really busy then a bit longer. Try it I think you will be happy if you like Chinese food.

Rang 1st time and asked if they do delivery, they said no & hung straight up . Had to call back to place an order. Was told it'd be ready in 15 mins, give them 20 mins, still wasnt ready when I arrived. 5 mins later finally had my food. The bag was poorly packed, I now have oyster sauce all over my car. The sweet and sour pork balls were missing the pork balls and there was a rock in the crispy seaweed. Won't be going back, guess its cheap for a reason...

It seems their were so many external orders and had to wait a good 30 to 40 minutes for my order to be ready. Also it seems the quality of food and rice has declined, I did not enjoy the rice. This was my worst order received ever and the sause was not too fantastic either.

There are quite a few Chinese takeaways in the area and this one is the best. Price is good, portions are generous and has a big menu. Only negatives are the minimum spend for card of £10, and they are not particularly friendly - very cyborgy customer service. Takes the order and moves on. Would be nice if they were less business and more customer service. That said, food is quick and there's plenty of parking out front. Worth ordering ahead for big orders.

Benn coming here for 4 and half years since I moved here. The usual is Sweet and sour chicken balls, chicken curry and egg fried rices. Spot on, never had any complaints

Normally order from Kim's Kitchen down the road, but decided to try Wan Ying for a change as the reviews on here are decent. We ordered our usual (Chicken Satay Skewers, Crispy Chili Beef and Mini Spring Rolls), all of which are normally top notch from Kim's, but from Wan Ying they were dreadful. The Crispy Chilli Beef was so chewy, and the Satay skewers had a very poor quality of chicken, whilst the satay sauce was basically peanut butter and water. Very poor, will not be ordering again.

The best local takeaway. Great service and quick.. this is the only Chinese I go to now and have been going here for 10+ years. Even used to get a free calander around Christmas for quite a few years.

No se han adaptado a su estilo de vida de hoy y las expectativas. Estilo de la antigua China que solía ser buena, pero fue una decepción en una reciente visita. Sus langostinos hecha y el resto era sosa y el servicio era amable, por lo que la ONU decepcionados con un Chino que solía ser uno de nuestros favoritos hace años.

El único para llevar comida china que uso; siempre buena comida, servicio rápido (aunque muy concurrido! El aparcamiento es fácil fuera).

I can't believe that we've lived so close to this Chinese takaway for six years and never tried it before. It really is very high quality food. I can't wait to try different dishes and will definitely be doing that soon.

My only problem is every time I order King prawn satay and fail to explore the menu properly.Its not the usual offer served on sticks but a dish of king prawns,onions and mushrooms in a hot peanut broth.It's so good.Don't visit often since I moved but wish Wan Ying had come with me
