The best restaurants serving Chinese food in South East

Overall it’s a good Chinese take away and restaurant. The food is generally pretty good and it isn’t overpriced. Occasionally, I’ve had a few minor issues when ordering, but the guys always make things right when there’s a mix up. It’s probably the best Chinese restaurant I’ve had in the whole of Maidstone. The bar around the town is generally pretty low, but I do like ordering here and will continue to go back. Thanks for all our orders over the last couple of years since living in the area!

Had a horrendous takeaway from here, full of hair. Looked them up and found they had a 1 star food hygiene rating and it shut down a couple weeks later. They've re-opened since then and will never go back

This Chinese is the best! Me and my grandad always get it, they always have the best chicken chow mein and they always make it with the skinny noodles especially for me, the food is always hot and has good portion sizes, it also doesnt take long for them to make and it is 100% my favourite chinese ever!

I stopped using Rainbow House about 15 years ago after a few bad meals. Decided to give it another go earlier this week as I read it was under new ownership but this may have been a while ago. Its a shame as the Capital Spareribs sauce was a lovely sweet and sour sauce with added punch, but the ribs were way over cooked and dry. I had the chicken battered balls and sweet and sour sauce but this lacked flavour and the batter was awful - not crisp and slightly sponge like. The chicken inside was very bland and over cooked. . A waste of £24

First time trying here, safe to say we enjoyed the food! Lovely staff and place, I love that you can see the kitchen and watch them make the food in progress.

Kept repeating details as was too focused on listening to people in the shop. Took far too long to order

This chinease has gone really downhill in the past few months,past two chinease I have had has been awufull won't be using again

Very tasty 😋 Mixed starter, duck and pancakes, sweet and sour chicken, kung po chicken,, chilli beef, ALL freshly cooked and very tasty. Will definitely go again.

Lovely family, delicious food at a fair price. Lived in Gosport for 25 years and never bothered to go to any other takeaway as they could only be worse.

Yesterday was the first time I had ordered from here, I had the meal for two, menu number B3. The delivery came in good time and staff were very friendly. The food was amazing, best I have tried in a long time, everything was fresh and hot and tasted amazing. Really recommended using this Chinese. We have now have our favourite place and will be ordering food from here all the time. Just brilliant xx

Nice food but very expensive and not worth the money, may aswell eat in a restaurant it's that pricey
