The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Oxford South East

Kung Po and rice. Stodge city. Most of it ended up in the bin. Such a disappointment.

Our 1st time back since the reopening. Absolutely fantastic wonderful new dishes. All tasty very clean friendly and efficient. Wonderful Manager Tommy and Graciana who were very welcoming and friendly going above and beyond. Such good value 10 out of 10 we will return. I love the spaghetti bolognese and the enton mess the ice cream and chocolates fountain

It is said that war is long periods of boredom punctuated by moments of sheer terror. In this regard Hi Lo Jamaican Eating House is similar to war. But as Sun Tzu writes in the Art of War, "be where your enemy is not". At 11pm on a Friday night my enemy was certainly not there, and neither was anyone else. I was very excited to go to Hi Lo Jamaican Eating House due to the reviews posted here. They range from 1 to 5 stars but are almost entirely concentrated on those two ends. 5 star reviews will tell you it is a life changing experience where you will make friends for life and be entertained by the rambunctious proprietor. 1 star reviews warn of abuse, terrible service, and the rambunctious proprietor. On TripAdvisor several reviews flag a serious safety concern. Unfortunately on my visit I experienced none of this. Just a profoundly boring evening in a strange bar with a dead and hostile atmosphere, drinking room temperature bottled Guinness foreign export. In this regard it has failed even to fail me correctly as the 1 star reviews told me it would. Other reviews mention food but when asked they apparently don't do it anymore. The bar is silent unless you pay money in the jukebox, which paired with its emptiness just makes it kind of creepy.

I always order Chinese (vegetarian) from this outlet and it tastes perfect everytime.

Kopitam es un lugar muy sencillo. Luces brillantes, decoración minimailista. El servicio es rápido y eficiente. Muy popular entre la comunidad asiática. Nos decidimos por el tofu, cornadas nasi, gambas, verduras al curry y tortitas. Todos llegaron a nuestra mesa con tuberías calientes, extremadamente frescas y llenas de sabor. Los cuatro en nuestra mesa declararon que el tofu casero era el mejor que habían probado. Los precios son muy razonables. Cerveza está disponible. Platos sencillos con ingredientes frescos y gran especia nos satisfizo a todos.

He estado aquí varias veces ahora para sentarse en las comidas con un amigo, así como para llevar. La comida siempre es muy satisfactoria y el pato asado es de lo más delicioso. El mejor pato asado en la mayoría de los restaurantes en el Reino Unido que hemos probado. Personal muy amable y servicial y muy limpio, aunque el restaurante no es tan grande y por lo tanto la zona de estar es bastante limitada. Está bien si solo quieres un almuerzo o cena rápida, me gusta porque me recuerda al estilo de simplicidad del sudeste asiático. Voy por buena comida y limpieza en lugar de un gran espacio palaciego. Recomiendo este restaurante. Obtienes muy buena porción por el precio que pagaste. El precio no es diferente de la mayoría de los restaurantes pequeños y medianos en Oxford.

For deliveries give it some time as still worth it but always late Never disappointed, the curry goat is the best!

Tried to Order takeaway by phone around 8.45 on Saturday Night and they said that they’re just closing as their extractor fans broken down which is a lie as they just can’t be bothered to even say that they can’t deliver to Barton

I really really like fantastea, the service is fast, the drinks are tasty and the workers are really nice - when they're there. This is the third time this month I've gone in to grab a drink before getting on the bus stop outside, and there just hasn't been anyone behind the counter, despite me waiting around five minutes each time. Maybe I should be louder and shout for people in the back, but thats far too embarrassing for me to do. Maybe a bell is a good idea! If you've got time to kill waiting for someone to turn up, its a great little spot. If you're in a rush, better to try the other bubble tea places around Oxford.
