always loved the Rice Box. Still some of the nicest Cantonese food around.

seem to have changed recently. it was terrible. they were my to go chinese and will go elsewhere now.

Food has really gone downhill.

Chow mein was over cooked, Rice Box used to be fabulous each time I use it now it just gets worse and more expensive 👎🏼

Ordering was fine, delivery the same. But prices have gone up an awful lot and quality has suffered! Everything tasted the same but a different colour sauce sadly, couldn't taste any Chinese flavours at all, very bland! Portion sizes have shrunk as well as price increase. Used to be our favourite 😞

3rd time ordering if a late but not getting any stamps service is good and food is good chips let it down

chips still no good and ordered chicken and pineapple but no pineapple otherwise food was good

the only let down was the chips otherwise a good meal as normal

my food was very late ...was delicious as always but was cold :/ the prawn crakers was complitly demaged :/ unhappy...

The food was very tasty and came out quickly. The waitress/owner lady is very nice and friendly. Great location and nice decor inside.

The chow mein looked boiled, the noodles were soggy and there was a lot of water in the packaging. It was also completely tasteless. The chicken balls were ok, overall I’m really dissatisfied with my order, never known a restaurant to get a chicken chow mein so wrong

I ordered chicken balls that came cold and they was mushy. The chow mein looked like someone threw up and put it in a box, that was also cold. The garlic and pepper chicken pieces were okay but again cold and no flavour other than spice. The only item that was hot was the curry sauce. Will never order again

The food was okay. Meat in the lamb curry was very tough, and the “meat” spring roll was more like a bean sprout roll. Everything else was alright. Waiting time was good.

What on earth was in my Meal? Chicken never tasted like that! Seems to be squelchy with oil or water. Tastes foul. Rice overcooked. Oil for frying seems to be old, should be replaced more often. NEVER AGAIN

Late food. Noodles were greasey and had no flavour. The ribs were disgusting. Normally the food from here is ok but everything we ordered just didn't taste ok.

Normally excellent, but latest order was so below standard it was unpalleteble. Sauces where so dilluted that water with a 'hint' of flavour came through and boiked meat is lousy. Please go back to previous suppliers, quantities and care would be appreciated. Have used and enjoyed Rice box for years but this time......

Great food. Nice and hot. Tastes good. Especially mushroom chow mein. Ribs were lush.

I get there was bad traffic which held up the delivery there was some accident but I was concerned because JustEat said enjoy your food and I hadn't received it. I called the restaurant and got no help from them at all. They couldn't even understand me or pretended that they didn't understand me and put the phone down. I went to the JustEat settings and asked for a refund next thing I know my information was updated and said on its way. 45mins late! so took almost 2 hours to get to me in total!

The Spring Roll was meant to be meaty but hardly had any meat in it. It was just full of sprouts.

Food is expensive and tastes rubbish

I’d rather vote for the tories than order from Rice Box again. I don’t know what was a bigger disappointment, the state of our country or the food from Rice Box tonight. £25 for watery undercooked chicken (that arrived an hour late), the paper bags the food arrived in had gone mushy so all of the food inside them spilt out into the bigger bag. Dear lord, what a sad little life, Jane.. food had about as much grace and decorum as a reversing dump truck without wheels.

Food was great tasting however it was so late that the food was cold and the drinks were warm

I originally wanted to add something extra to my order however when I called the restaurant I couldn’t understand what the receiver was saying and she obviously didn’t understand what I was saying either as I never got what I wanted to add extra. Staff who answer the restaurant phones should always be able to speak and understand English with no language barriers. Was not happy about this.

Part of the order was missing, I rang to ask for it to be sent, it was but it took an hour to arrive.

Rice box's menu is very complicated now, tried ordering 2 main dishes but wanted me to choose a starter and side for each which I did not want, so didn't get everything I wanted, bag of chips were opened both ends so fell onto the floor

The ung Po chicken was really poor, I honestly couldn’t taste any chicken, just balls of fat!

King Prawn fried rice was good. Don't bother ordering the prawn crackers, they were stale like if the bag was left open for a long time. This is not the first time this issue happens.

Ribs were good, not very warm though, very small portion for the price. Not much actual chicken in the Szechuan Chicken dish, nice veg in the dish would have preferred more chicken for the price paid.

The chicken balls weren’t even solid! It was like they were full of slime. Rice was stodgy, the chips were stale, the noodles were okay. Will NEVER order from here again.

The chicken balls were awful. The chicken in the curry was very watery and strange texture. Chicken satay skewers not nice. Best part of meal was the noodles I cooked myself

This was unreal. They had plenty of time to do this but not even a message was sent to say it was on the way and then when the order should have been delivered, there was no information. So I called and was told that it would be ANOTHER 20 minutes, So bad. Will never order from them again. Very poor time management. When they eventually delivered, the driver was rude! Brilliant.

Once again, I did not receive sweet chilli sauce for spring rolls and very little chicken meat, 2 small pieces of pepper but a lot of carrots and onions. Spring roll (meat) does not contain meat, it is vegetarian and I paid for meat. Your driver dumped some garbage under my window.
