Golden City is our absolute favorite local Chinese takeaway! Whenever we fancy a break from cooking, this place never disappoints. The staff are always super friendly and welcoming, which adds to the charm of this family-run business. What really sets Golden City apart is the exceptional quality of their food. We've tried other places through third-party apps, but nothing compares to the authentic flavors and freshness you get from Golden City. We've become so spoiled that we now refuse to go anywhere else! In this day and age, it's fantastic to support local businesses, and Golden City truly deserves our loyalty. We got a takeaway for friends on my birthday and everything was (as usual) great. The duck in particular with pancakes was really succulent with just the right amount of crispy skin and loads of meet. Friends enjoyed a real mix from the menu from chicken fried rice, sweey and sour chicken, salt and pepper chips, prawns in oyster sauce - all were huge portions and delicious. Would recommend and will use again.

It’s a very expensive chippy. Chips curry and fried rice £6.40 But the curry sauce is fantastic ! But £6.40 could buy a bag of potatoes, a sack of rice and a box of curry sauce mix.

I'm so sad this place is closed for a refurb at the moment. I order quite regularly, and it is always gorgeous.

Always a regular customer at Lee’s. Absolutely love the food, generous portions for the price. Always quick delivery too.

Be very careful, there is a language barrier, they might send you what ever the fc*k they want. And when you phone up to say the order is wrong they will reply withn "we dont care you have your food" they charged us for the higher price meals and delivered the lowest cost per meal on each of the orders. They charged us £55 for a family order and once i calculated what they sent it should of been £42. Avoid Avoid Avoid. This place will send you what ever you need it just might not be what you ordered! ha ha DI8KHEADS

The chicken nuggets and chips were awful, my son asked for them for his tea, and he ate very little of them, they were dry and horrible, its what i , as a veteran to takeaway food , call " a takeaway that doesnt know how to cook chips n nuggets.
