used this establishment for the first time last week was not disappointed and would use again very good grub

Waited nearly an hour from delivery time given and received call to say our ticket had just been found and order was only just being prepared. No apology until I went on a rant. Over 2 hours since we’d ordered the food online ..... could tell they were lying. I’d tried chasing by phone email and messenger as phone just went to answer phone. Really poor service. Never got to taste the food. Don’t bother. Order from a reliable Chinese instead 🤯🤯🤯

When coming to write this review I seem mostly negative comments towards the takeaway. I have never had a bad meal, the lady behind the counter is friendly and polite. The food is not greasy as that's one of my pet hates with Chinese takeaways is it dripping in grease. The food from yummy yums is brilliant. We order over phone and it is ready to be collected within 10 mins. Can not fault the place.

2 and a half hours later... still no food.. when they eventually answered the phone... they blamed the driver and said its his first day

£10 for a chicken fried rice, portion of chips and a portion of prawn crackers. Chicken fried rice was alright, good size portion, bit bland tasting. Chips were burnt and crunchy, prawn crackers very greasy. If you're tempted to visit here, just pop into Harrys Fishbar next door. Much nicer!

We have used Yummy Yums on and off for sometime, using “ Just Eat “ and paying by card on line, no problems. This evening we googled Yummy Yums and their new web site came up, after checking it out we could still order via Just Eat, but the main menu was easier to read and cheaper. As you will note from the attached photo, the site clearly states that you can pay cash or card on delivery, This is not true, our delivery driver was not equipped with a card reader and we were overcharged for chips and rice, that is included in the total cost on the menu, also as per the attached photo. On contacting the takeway they were adamant that the charges were correct and it was cash only. Even though we spent time explaining the reasons for our complaint, they did not want to know, poor customer service, WE WONT BE BACK .

Was okay food, waited a while, just your typical take away. people seem a bit miserable behind the counter.

Sometimes good sometimes awful is all I can say really, when it’s good it’s really good though..... and I’ll still keep ordering from there..... just not the salt and chilli ribs...... that’s not how they’re meant to be!

Our regular for Chinese, always enjoy the meals and delivery is speedy. Very quick delivery usually too.

We ordered and paid for our food on line through Just Eat at 6.30pm to be delivered at 8.30pm. The order didn't arrive. We phoned Yumm Yums at 8.35pm to be told it was on its way. We phoned again at 9.00pm they said it was taken to another address and they were making us a fresh order. At 9.35 it still hadn't arrived so we phoned again. The food wasn't on its way and they hadn't made a fresh order!!!! We stated that they told us our food was being made again fresh at 9.00pm. The lady on the phone said they would do it for us then or we could phone on another night and they wouldn't charge. They couldn't understand we had already paid for the meal on line through Just Eat. We'll never go to Yummy Yums again. A night in with the grandchild ruined and the lady on the phone was clearly telling us different things. We did contact Just Eat, they were very professional, my husband did point out that clearly this take away needs auditing. Things do go wrong and we completely understand. But what is not satisfactory is the amount of stories told to us by Yum Yums

Ordered again on line via the “ Just Eat “ site, its so easy to browse through the menue and make your choices, plus you can make a payment by card on line, or cash on delivery. ( cards are not accepted in the take away ) A delivery time is given on line, but we found it is normally delivered much faster. Tonight we ordered Chillie chicken and fried rice and King prawn curry and boiled rice, delicious. Delivered in super quick time, piping hot, recommended.

Right, so my boyfriend worked here u n till he randomly got a test saying he'd been dropped they dont need him anyone and good luck in the future, the reason for them saying this is because they had replaced him why he had time of since his car had been smashed up and there were injuries, told them we would show evidence to prove he wasnt lying and they didnt believe a thing🖕pure and utter bankers BTW they keep there food im a garbage bin in the toilet :|

We decided to try Yummy Yum's again, felt lazy and went on line. " Just Eat " came up, for ordering, heard of them, but never thought of using the site. We tried a dummy run on an order and found it so accurate and easy to use, We then ordered the chefs special, Chilli Chicken and a Sweet and Sour King prawns with rice and chips etc. Easy to pay on line and they give you an estimated delivery time. The food was delivered in quick time, by a friendly delivery driver, it was was piping hot and of an excellent quality, delicious. Thank you, we will be ordering again soon.

Very disappointed with the quality of the food. Rice was dry and hard, looked and tasted like it was old and had been reheated. Crispy beef wasn't crispy just chewy and with no sauce. Duck pancakes were ok but overall very disappointed and will not be going back.

We ordered on review stars at 8 tonight said would b here 9.05.Didnt bother saying would be here later,rang us at 9.15 n said can you wait until 9.45 so we cancelled.Huge dissapointment,avoid at all costs.😡😡😡

We had been disappointed by another fast food shop and needed something for tea. This is very close and what a difference. The food was good and the service fast and pleasant. They don't take cards though.

On the website numerous of false advertisement was made - ensuring a free bag of prawn crackers when spending over a certain amount however little to my knowledge this was in correct.I was told that my food would arrive in the next hour which i was willing to wait after it being recommending by a fried,so an hour went by still no sign of my order (2hrs and 36mins later) my food arrive i expected polite service and not to be lied to at the door,however what i expect was most definitely not what i got! the delivery man said the prawn crackers were in the bag and not once apologised for the delay. Eager to eat my food i looked in the bag to find that the prawn crackers went in the bag so i rang up to say that they had forgotten them and instead them owning up to there mistakes they tried to accuse me of not ordering them after me spending well over limit they finally realised i was correct and said it was to far from them to drive and well to late! i was appalled at this service because if they hadn't of been 1 and half hours late maybe it wouldn't of been to late. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND !!!!!

I have ordered a few take always from here now and all have been equally as good. Usually when you get a good Chinese the next time you have it its horrible but this has been lovely every time. Will be my regular Chinese now.

have used this takeaway for many years and when it changed hands and became yum yums i recall waiting an hour for my order because the owner was not happy with the quality of the rice, excellent service, however tonight an order was placed and was checked over the phone, not all the order arrived and we are still waiting over an hour, what a shame, we have used yum yums very regulary, what has happened to customer service, no one has turned up or rang back, would not let my daughter finish what she had to say

Ordered via just eat website. Delivery was prompt. The food however was terrible. Cardboard re cooked chips. Steam dumplings that were somehow rock hard. Salt and pepper ribs with 2 inch ribs and no salt and pepper so tough they ripped your teeth out. But chilly beef was at least average. Will never use again and for £18 for this lot I would at least have expected something fresh. Absolutely terrible takeaway. The Chinese food served at Harry's next door is much much better. Be advised.

I come to the UK for three months, for the first time to eat Chinese food really, I feel the taste of home. This is a nice place, room compared with other shops is relatively fast, service attitude is also very good. I don't know why some people say that time is too slow, make good food is takes time and energy, value for money.

Don't think this lace has ever heard of customer service. Ordered both meals with no veg onions etc came with onions rang up to explain only to be told it's my fault and that if I want fresh I will be recharged. I understand if it wasn't clear instruction but to have such appalling customer service is unacceptable and basically for our meals to be binned. Will stick to my local from now on would not bother spending my hard earned wages in this please. Waste of space

We Telephone ordered food to be delivered, it was deliousious and plenty of it, the fillet steak is excellent, nice rice and proper chips. Delivery was estimated at one hour on New Yesrs eve, which was fine, but delivered within 40 mins by a very polite employee.

Was horrible. No flavour in soup and lumpy, all meals really disgusting. Only thing that was ok is the ribs and sweet and sour. Really dissapointed. Was also late.

Great food as usual. Sorry to see the salt and pepper combo removed from the menu.

Failed in all areas. Meal was 1hr 30mins late with no phone call. When I tried to ring I called 15 times after all were engaged the phone was then disconnected by the restaurant.

Advised 45 minute wait actually took nearly 2 hours once arrived they had missed parts from the order after i had to drive to the store. It is actually impossible to ring them phone constantly engaged.

All the food was nice but the BBQ sauce wasn't nice at all delivery was on time will be ordering again!

First time order Fillet steak in black pepper sauce, fried rice, chicken & Sweetcorn soup, Peking ribs. Meal was lovely and the fillet steak was tender and lean, soup was great and so were the Peking ribs. I collected the order and staff were nice and pleasant inside. Definitely be my go to Chinese from now on.

Unfortunately as we are on a new housing estate the delivery driver could not find us. Another one was sent out but it did take 1 1/2 for the food. However their service was excellent and they were very apologetic and sincere. Food was excellent again.

Food cold as most container lids not on properly!! 'Egg fried rice' missing or very little egg seemed to just receive fried rice!! Special curry far from special won't order from here again

I really didn't want to have to right a bad review as the lady on the phone was so helpful and polite.. But we waited over an hour which we didn't mind but when the food came the char Sui Fried rice was amazing!! But the chips spring rolls and both sauces (sweet and sour and bbq) where absolutely terrible!!! Which is a real shame

no free spring rolls, order was £28 with delivery then the delivery driver tried changing £33, the phone just rang out and the prawn crackers was not in the bag either, rubbish and disappointed

The first time I've been back in a while following it being closed for a period. Food still great but the portion sizes are now much smaller than before
