The best restaurants serving Chinese food in North East

The food is very good quality, chips are to die for, how is it a Chinese does better chips than any chips shop I've been to in the last decade? Anyway, been looking for a new Chinese after my old favourite closed due to retirement. This may be my new go to!

This sucks!!! Go to the fais kitchen in bognor. Their chips are actually edible.

Just had takeaway from happy valley. Chips were like cardboard absolutely crap. Chicken chow mein was ok no spice at all. Chicken curry was ok. Total dissapointment. Cant seem to find a decent chinese takeaway after dave retired from chung ying.

Take away food fantastic, delicious

Our experience in Master Chinese Restaurant was delightful! Lovely interior designs and a very spacious place. We had a big group, and it being a Saturday night, we were lucky to have come here. Fried Sweet Potato Fries coated with Salted Egg Salt and Pepper Tofu Lamb from the East? (something like that. This was perhaps the most impressive dish.) Beef Noodles Sour Vegetable Fish Soup Salted Egg Custard 'Pau' Our entire group thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There's also the option of Bubble milk tea is this restaurant. Master Chinese Restaurant makes for a good decision when it comes to Chinese cuisine.

Mi amigo y yo probamos este lugar (como se recomendó). Es una zona de estar de aspecto básico (si estás sentado), pero estaba limpio. Desafortunadamente, es solo efectivo (pero pueden recibir transferencias bancarias). No tuvimos que esperar mucho, las porciones eran generosas también (pedimos pequeñas y no pude terminar todo). La comida era preciosa, soy vegetariana y estaba más que contenta con el tofu (estaba muy sabroso). Fue una gran relación calidad-precio, sin duda volveré y lo recomendaría encarecidamente.

Not the nicest surroundings but you can order on line and have the food delivered. Tried fishcakes, king prawn Phad Thai, a couple of curries and a couple of jasmine rices. Wasn’t bad at all really and excellent value for £23. Currently 20% off if you order on line. The chef is a very friendly Thai gentleman who will very happily adjust spice levels to personal taste. Great to have a good Thai takeaway/ delivery option in Middlesbrough. I was pleasantly surprised.

Took an hour for food to arrive

Just got a meal chips were non existing beef curry slimey prawns stink even prawn crackers were half brown disgusting. We have used them for years ..never again

Thought I would give this a try since it's been taken over by new management and it was bang on. Very tasty and good size portions. Definitely be ordering from here again.

Date 31/10/23. Time 18:21 The good news is the food arrived on time , the bad news was the food I ordered was cold and like chewing soggy cardboard! It’s states ‘Crispy’ ! The Chicken looked like it was cooked a week ago and then binged!! What a joke or should l say that was on me , for what I paid and received 😤…. They say once bitten twice shy , well I will definitely not be biting anything else from the ‘ Welcome Inn’ any time soon !! Cannot comment on atmosphere, but not sure if no stars would bring the score down so giving it a 5, and I’ll consider that my delivery score. I’d give the food 4.5 overall if google would permit it, but I’ll round up as the minor feedback I have below doesn’t warrant rounding it down. All round, decent food, reasonable prices compared to others in the town and delivered right on time. The salt and pepper shredded chicken was good, plain boiled rice was perfectly cooked and decent portion size. Chips (I request extra crispy) were good and notes followed. Veggie spring rolls are standard what you’d expect, but crispy but not greasy. All arrived hot and not long after the tracking updated out for delivery. The only minor faults were with some of the sauces, packaged well, decent amount and all hot, but flavours just weren’t for me. Curry sauce is what you’d expect, the orange sauce was a little too runny and the gravy had little flavour other than being salty. Wouldn’t mark down too much because of that as they were perfectly edible, just wouldn’t get them again. Overall, decent value for money, fast delivery and would definitely order again.
