Great good, good, pleasant staff giving great customer service

The food is an out of this world experience. Nothing can compete. The lady behind the desk deserves all of my yearly wage, always without a fault and the best salt and pepper chicken about. Tried this and then went back 5 times within 2 weeks, gained 2kg but do they make it worth it.

Phenomenal food, no Chinese food nearby can compete! Chicken is to die for, lady at front desk is really friendly and helpful. Can’t fault the place.

Wasn't impressed with the food xhips where over cooked and salt and peper chicken was hard like being over cooked cant say i have had food feom here in a while and that was a let down.

Some very good dishes from excellent sweet and sour chicken to interesting curries. Sadly and inexplicably they have stopped the facility to pay by card for deliveries, mow cash only. I fear they may have shot themselves in the foot, who has cash on hand these days?

The salt and pepper chicken and the chips were definitely yesterday’s as I ordered just as the restaurant was opening I expected the food to be fresh, I won’t be using this place again.

I ordered just as the restaurant opened at 5.30pm so I was expecting fresh food cooked today but I received yesterday’s salt and pepper chicken and yesterday’s chips, I’m really disappointed because this is usually my go to Chinese. I’ll not be using it again

Well Iv ordered from here for years and got a sa curry and it was just bland curry was tasteless the only nice thing is the noodles very disappointed! Never again sorry

First time ordering from this Chinese, as I only got a menu through the door earlier this week, so thought I'd give it a try. I personally haven't ordered takeaway for ages, as I get fairly sick & tired of the same old, same old takeaway meals on offer....( I just wish someone would open up a proper homemade meal delivery service in tyneside, with meals like beautiful mince & dumplings with mash & veg,... homemade steak & kidney pies, mash & real gravy,...lovely roast beef/lamb/chicken dinners, with veg & roasties...& of course, proper homemade yorkie puds...proper homecooked meals, like our mams used to make... & I bet I wouldn't be the only one ordering on a very regular basis, as I'd much prefer these types of proper homemade meals, than the takeaway menus have to offer....) I bet you're saying to yourselves "then just cook those meals yourself then & stop moaning! "... Well I would,...& I did years ago,...before becoming housebound disabled, & so I'm now unable to do these things myself without causing & being in a tremendous amount of pain & discomfort !!! Anyway, I digress, I'll get back to the matter in hand... Once seeing the menu, I spied that Meadowell Chinese had something that I don't normally see on offer... Pigs liver, onions & mushrooms, gravy & chips ... Well, I ordered that tonight,... It came within the allotted time of half hour,... when it arrived, it was piping hot,...the amount of food was way more than I expected, especially for the price. (so my tea for tomorrow night is sorted too) ., bargain!!!).....oh, & it tasted lovely...there's nothing more you could ask for. I will definitely be a returning customer in the future, so if you get a chance to try this Meadowell Chinese Takeaway, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Honestly the best Chinese me and the other half have had in years, 10/10 for flavour and taste no slimy chicken or rubbery prawns (like most Chinese) and prawn crackers were gorgeous ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Meadow Well Chinese takeaway never disappoints, menu is comprehensive and interesting, reception friendly and obliging, service quick and efficient, delivery accurate and reasonable and above all else, food excellent and value for money. Frankly, the best!

House special egg foo yung n gravy is easily t best av tasted, not 1 complaint to any of their dishes that I've tried. Top marks. Another meal another thumbs up mmmmm.

Excellent menu choices, quick delivery and great value for money. This is certainly the best Chinese Take Away for miles. Large portions well prepared and delivered hot and speedily by friendly staff. Unfortunately, not open on Tuesday for some reason but, that apart, superb.

Once you know your way around the menu this is a superb Chinese take-away and delivery source. Sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style and their chicken fried rice are culinary gems. Quick, friendly and good value for money. The best in North Shields!

Great little takeaway, I travel from Wallsend to use this takeaway, in my opinion it's one of the best in north Tyneside. Great menu, food and plenty of it. The price is really good as well. This has to be one of the best that's hidden away. Would have no hesitation in recommending this place.
