I have lived in NE29 all my life. It was the 1st trying Fia's Kitchen. I ordered the £15.50 munch box. It was so delicious, you got loads in the box. Well worth the money. I will not be using anywhere else now.

Food was as good today as I remember it a decade ago! Great quick service, lovely food and huge range!

Actually terrible, most bland tasteless chinese food ive ever ate. Onion was raw in Salt and chilli dishes, there was no spice to any of the chilli dishes actually…..or salt. Ordered chips and gravy….had to add salt. Lesson learnt, never again

Changed owners - has gone downhill, a few times chips have been hard and cold as if they’re from day before. Noodles greasy a few times, onions hard, just overall bad experiences since changed owners as f little tlc is out into making food. Won’t be going back and will let people know

THE BEST 👌 chow main Singapore noodles in the North East. Awesome pork, prawns pull it in a different direction. The balance of the seasoning pulls the meal together. It is truly exceptional as noodles go.

Ordered from Fais for years and loved it. However, our meal tonight was disgusting. The chips were so hard they were inedible, the king prawn curry was mostly mushrooms and overall meal was very greasy. Won’t be returning.

I’ve been coming here for years. Heard of changing owners three months ago but donno if it’s true as did not notice any difference in my food Food is spot on as always and service is also excellent. To whoever that runs the business “ Well done!!”

awful food, we’ve all been left feeling sick to our stomachs. the food here used to be lovely such a shame it’s gone downhill. everything seemed like it had been reheated from hours or even days ago it tasted that bad. take my advice and don’t go here unless you want to come away vomiting!

Used to order from here years ago but found somewhere else closer to home. Unfortunately, the one we changed to has now been taken over and the food is horrible! We changed back to Fais, in the hope that the food was still good. Just got a takeaway (collection) and it was delicious.

sad to say i have been champion this takeaway for years noticed the quality went down a couple of years ago under new management now it is really bad and the delivery drivers charge what they like sort it out Fais kitchen you where the best get back there

Ordered food at 6.30pm. After numerous phone calls , one to manager, food arrived at 9pm When I spoke to manager and told him he should reduce the price due to long wait, told me that he was blocking my number. Example of really good customer service. Food was cold and insipid. DO NOT GO THERE.

Ordered takeaway at 6.30 on Saturday night. It is now 8.50pm and still waiting. Absolutely disgusting service. Will tell everyone not to use them, not reliable.

Waited 80 minutes for it to arrive, which I wouldn't mind but the food was really dissapointing. Chowmein had a thick layer of fat on the top that was seeping out the foil container, chicken balls were greasy and coated in raw batter, not to mention how over priced it all was....Would avoid!

During nearly 5 months of lockdown had not had a take away and passed by Fai’s tonight to find it open Ordered sweet and sour chicken with boiled rice On getting it home it was hot, which is good, however it contained lots of tiny strips of battered chicken and overall not a lot of chicken to it! Sauce was mediocre too a bit of al ost raw green pepper, some onions and a little pineapple Very very disappointed For the £8.10 price Will give this a miss and goback to Mandarin in Wallsend

Not a Chinese in the northeast can compete with this takeaway. Been using fais for over twenty five years & recommended it to maany others,one criticism when they close for a break it's far to bloody long....

I ordered the food in my mid 30’s I turn 40 tomorrow Could have been warned I’d reach such an age when ordering-

Had a salt and pepper chicken on Sunday, was very rubbery and tasted like it was left over from the day before then re heated, 6 of us (2 adults and 4 children) had a poorly tummy after eating from there, won't be ordering again 😣

Waited over an hour for food the small amount of food was expensive and disgusting

Ordered here for a long time only ever had 1 bad. Always been amazing however can sometimes be hours for delivery. Only ever had 1 bad meal probably from 100. Would recommend

Ordered a chow mien for home delivery after viewing the numerous food reviews .. wait time was, as expected on a Saturday, around an 1 hour and 30 .. price was higher than any other we use and so we assumed this would reflect in the food WRONGFood was totally bland, the chicken was tasteless and we still haven’t fathomed how chicken can be cut so thinly (almost transparent) the noodles were also bland, with a tiny amount of bean sprouts, and this was clearly shoved on top with no soy sauce and not mixed in at all .. there was soggy lettuce leaves throughout and it was really not nice at all .. All in all would never use again NO STARS

We have tried most Chinese in area and always come back to here! The spare ribs are delicious, I personally love the chicken satay with crispy noodles and the spicy salt and chilli chips Yummy!!!

My partner and I call most Sunday evening for take away. The selection of meats and seafood is fab, fresh and tasty. The rice is white and perfectly cook. Staff always friendly and prices reasonable

Have had a variety of meals from Fais & every one has been delicious. My husband's favourite is the curry house special while I enjoy the Cantonese and satay sauces. Don't give-up if you can't get through on the phone - just keep trying -the food is well worth it!!

being going for years you do need to ring and order as they are very busy and it can take long time to answer the phone but the food is always nice

Have been coming to Fai's for over 20 years and simply can't beat it for quality, variety and quantity. Never been disappointed with a meal and though I now live in the north west, it's the only place I come to. Definitely worth the 300+ mile round trip (as well as visiting family mind!)

Long wait for delivery, so I went to pick it up and when I got there it was empty, not only was it over £30 I still had to pay for the prawn crackers. Not going back there in a hurry!!

Chicken omelette was lovely . Visiting the dentist tomorrow to repair broken teeth from the chips . The chicken breast ( well my cat wouldnt eat it . Last time ordered chicken omelette there was no chicken in it . Very disappointing . I wont be going back there

This is the second week in a row I have been told.my delivery will be up to an hour and the second week I'm waiting after an hour and a half..... left feeling not bothered about food and our of pocket! Wanted food at 8 to 8.30 not gone 9 when I'm past hungry and ready for food! Terrible service!!

even though it was over an hr wait which was stated to me i had no issues in waiting as i believe the food is worth waiting for, i must however admit i was expecting maybe something to be a bit on the cold side but all i can say is that im very impressed and never fail to dissapoint me, if i did have any comments not really a bad thing, i just think the chips are a little over done for my liking, but thats just personal preference but as for everything else, chicken and sweet corn soup amazing, chicken curry full of flavour and great spice, amazing for the hangover cure, just never fail for me and sweet and sour chicken, its the only place i love the sweet and sour sauce ! and piping hot !

Ordered our food, came with one dish missing, and also came with the wrong sauce which I don't like the sauce they put in! Had plated my food up then realised they missed a dish, can't eat without the sauce as too dry, called up and told them they had made a mistake! Had to call again when realised they made a mistake with the sauce too! Half an hour later my food is stone cold and my sauce and other dish still not turned up!! Shocking service! Full meal ruined now!

Been ordering food for delivery from this take away for years now. Tried other take aways in the area and the food from Fai's is still the best. Even though the delivery time might be over an hour, the wait is well worth it. Always tasty and hot when delivered and the fried rice is always white which to me is a good sign.Class take away.

my partner and i use fais for our order of chinese when out. it normally takes them around fifteen mins then ready to collect. personally i like the fact thet their fried rice is white and fluffy rather than some greasy brown type you get from other takeaways. chicken has always been white and tasty, no greasiness at all. good takeaway.

Only use Fai's when I need my takeaway delivering, as I usually go to Spence Terrace but they don't deliver.

Fantastic well priced food great friendly service. The deep fried crispy beef in cantonese sauce is a must!
