The best restaurants serving Chinese food in North East

It doesn't look much from the outside but it's the best Chinese takeaway around. The three meals deal is good value, and free spring rolls as well.

I had a beef curry from here and wouldn't order it again. The beef was so chewy I left most of it. The rice and chips were hot and ok but I will avoid beef in the future

Really nice best chips and massive portions really reasonable prices and few freebies thrown in👍👍👍

The food is lovely however book well in advance as the delivery is not good very very long wait we had

A lot better since its been taken over, prices slightly higher, but food really good for a takeaway, we like the currys, lots of meat, and generous with the king prawns

Lovely food and relaxed atmosphere

Sadly, we didn't have a great experience today. We came in right when the restaurant opened. We were greeted at the door by a young man who was polite and he is about the only reason why this review is getting 2 stars. The other lady who served us came across as rude, her manners, lack of listening and the overall approach was not what you'd expect from a restaurant. She also forgot our drinks, probably because she is more focused on talking a lot and making it look like she engages with customers but she doesn't listen to anything you're saying and her pretend face is so obvious it makes customers uncomfortable. We were also given an empty bottle of chilli oil, but then it was corrected by the other staff, the polite man mentioend before. The food arrived quite fast, the portion of salt and pepper chips was quite small compared to other times we dined here, some of the chips were not cooked inside, still cold and frozen. The veggie mini hot pot was OK, not too many flavours, quite bland, but the dumplings were decent. The atmosphere in the restaurant wasn't great due to a large crowd of students that showed up and was noisy, acting like they were at a house party rather than a restaurant. At any other restaurant, they'd be asked to behave appropriately. Such a shame that we've had this experience because it used to be a good restaurant. Perhaps the owner changed as the menu also changed a lot and is very basic with almost no options for vegetarians. Probably won't be back for a long time.

2 weeks in a row orders for delivery were wrong .. over sat in for collection.. how frosty the woman was.... not be getting my money no more.. over priced by far.. "is it because monkseaton " anyone reading this ... lee garden's based in Shiremoor... same quality 3rd the price.. game over for me oriental

Only chinese I use. Enjoyed this family chinese takeaway for a very long time.

Food was great and got delivered early

Karaoke para mis hijas 21 cumpleaños callejero. Reservamos la habitación VIP más grande a 50 libras por hora. El acceso es a través del restaurante y está en el mismo nivel del suelo, así que muy amable para discapacitados. Las bebidas y la comida se pidieron en el bar y se entregaron rápidamente en nuestra habitación. La configuración del karaoke era buena, aunque la lista de canciones necesita actualizarse. La comida y las bebidas eran buenas y a un precio muy razonable. Buena experiencia en general.

Has to be one off if not the best chinese in the town, i would of rated 5 star but a few timea iv been in and been short changed or over charged. Apart from that amazing food.

Had too lovely take aways from here. It's currently out favourite Chinese in Durham. However, we found the prawn crackers tasted strange (perhaps the oil they were fried in) so didn't order them on the second occasion. Would definitely order from them again.

The best in Blyth. I've ordered Chinese food from here now for a few years. Always been consistent and always been good. Fantastic portions, free stuff thrown in from time to time and fast delivery. If I go and collect I'm always met with friendly service. I will never go anywhere else.
