Good food very tasty, the restaurant needs a complete makeover but the staff were lovely.

Hands down THE BEST Chinese food I've ever eaten. Fantastic service and the food is outstanding, so fresh and tasty. Highlights for me are the crispy seaweed and the chicken satay skewers. I'm going tomorrow and I absolutely can't wait.

Food was very nice. But very bland. Sate^ was.so spicy couldn't eat. King prawns balls. Went cooked.in centre amd very story. Thin beef chow mein was lovely as was the dumplings. I enjoyed bit husband didn't he said curry had no taste.

I had eaten in this time i tofu terakiy but it was salty i have terakiy sauce before that wasn't that salty i have been there 4 times before and one takeaway wich is deara than eating in i like the food thow.

This was our first time ordering tonight. We ordered at 6pm and got delivery confirmation for 6:40. It got to 7:45 and the food still wasnt here, so we rang up and they told us it was still in the kitchen. When it arrived, it was cold, chips were soggy and they forgot our drinks. Will not be ordering again!

Sorry food was terrible staff inattentive and not what you would deem trained in any basic waiting skills. I may have gone on a bad day but this old repurposed pub did nothing to make me ever want to return.

Ordered a takeaway from here, as my friend had recommended Panda Panda to me a while ago. Chow mein was delicious, had a bite of husband's lemon chicken which was gorgeous, dumplings and dessert were amazing too! Will be ordering again and we're hoping to book at the restaurant as well 😄 thank you!

APPAULING SERVICE!!! One star because you can't give a minus review... Over 3 hours and two phone calls to be told twice it is with the driver, no apologies from the receptionist. Just completely rude. The owner did call to apologise but by then it was way too late. Obviously the call back is appreiciated but too little too late. I will never order from 'Panda Panda' again and will NEVER recommend them to anyone.

We always order from here and never had a bad meal but tonight was a different story ordered early so could get the time we wanted and it never arrived I thought give extra time due to being over the Christmas break still nothing a hour later phoned to be told it had gone out an hour earlier and they would phone me back 20mins later I phoned them back to be told it had been delivered to an address with the same street name in a different town clearly don't look at post codes when food did arrive 2 hours late the food was not to there standard very poor the sweet and sour sauce was nearly just coloured water no flavour it had clearly been put together rushed such a shame always recommend this restaurant but will try else where from now on

Food took over an hour to arrive. Was cold upon arrival. Don’t know where the pepper was on our salt and pepper chips👎🏻 lady on the phone was lovely though. Chicken was dry and stringy. rice was overcooked. Unfortunate as seemed to be a really nice little place

Got a delivery, wait 1hr & 30 mins!!!! Finally arrived , chips were hard & soggy , had to put them in micro way ,, chicken curry had hardly any chicken & the curry sauce was like water !!!!! Never again !! What a waste of money !!!!!

Most Authentic Chinese food we have eaten while in the UK. Lovely hot and sour soup and the chicken with ginger was fabulous (we are from Australia and have great food there).

Nice reasonable priced restaurant. Cash only so be prepared. Décor still a little pub like, which is what it was before it became a Chinese restaurant. Waitress most pleasant attentive and helpful. Dining plates were hot when brought out but had cooled down to just warm by time the food was brought. A shorter time between dining plates and food arriving would be an improvement. Food nice and tasty and plentiful, just a little bit light on the amount of sauce provided with our dishes. Parking is limited outside but plenty just around the corner beside the bus station. Free after 6pm at time of writing. Definitely will return. After frequent visits still excellent food and service. A must visit for anyone who enjoys excellent Chinese food.

Food is always piping hot and delicious. Great variety of menu options and the first Chinese restaurant/takeaway I have come across that offers gluten free dishes. Highly recommend.

First time I have ordered from Panda Panda and it won't be the last. The meal was very nice indeed ordered beef curry and fried rice, the meat was nice and tender just the way I like it, curry sauce was lovely just wasn't too keen on the frozen chips so I won't order them next time but the amount that you get there is loads without the chips anyway. Thank you to the lady from Ferryhill who took my order and thank you to the lady who delivered it so quickly - well recommended

Food was very good, the service itself was excellent, we were a party off 6 daft blokes.... Emily the waitress was absolutely brilliant, she came over to check everything was OK.... Looked after us she is a credit to the business... The only thing I could say is that the place could do with a bit of TLC... We will be back...

A brilliant Chinese, we travel from catterick for this and it is sooooo worth the 40 minute drive. Always great staff, always a freebie and always yummy 😋. We tend to order fried rice, chicken curry , saty chicken, chicken chow main, thin noodles, chicken balls, gravey, and chips. Brilliant, everytime, never ever have the missed anything off order, or has it ever made us feel ill after. Granted not cheap, but as a treat I like to go to somewhere I know won't upset my tummy. Easy acess to collect order, never eaten in but would love too eventually( toddler and baby keep us to busy for meals out). I really do rate it 😋, never been disappointed.

I always enjoy dining with family and friends in Panda Panda and shall continue to visit. Tonight, though, I ordered my first ever home delivery - Teriyaki chicken - and whilst slightly different in presentation to the 'at table' experience, I must confess to being highly satisfied. The order was delivered within my allotted time slot (7:30 - 7:45) by a most pleasant and polite courier. The food was securely packed and sealed. I have no hesitation in unreservedly recommending Panda Panda for their high standard of cooking and presentation both in the restaurant and in tonights delivery. Marks out of ten... eleven.

Not the most welcoming exterior but once you try the food it's a little bit of Chinese Heaven on Earth. The food is frankly the best and most authentic Chinese cuisine I have eaten outside of China, and I've eaten a lot of Chinese food both there and overseas. Staff quietly efficient, Chef first rate. English well spoken. Clean and relaxing Was more than worth the 25 mile trip from Mickleton on a wet Sunday night. I wrote this review before tasting their cheesecake, though that might be a misnomer as it was light and frankly gorgeous to eat. Qualifies for 6 🌟

Amazing food as always! Collected within 15 mins of ordering, got free prawn crackers. However they did miss the seaweed off our order but they got it sent straight out and some free mini springs rolls on the house! Never had a bad experience 10 out of 10!

Love this place. It's the only gluten free Chinese close so drive through to collect often. Food is always delicious even when gluten free.

DO NOT RECOMMEND Absolutely disgusting doesn’t even deserve 1 star. It took 1hr 45min to arrive. Once we finally got our food it was stone cold the chicken and black bean sauce was something I can’t even describe. Salt and pepper chicken had not even seen a spice, Salt and pepper chips tasted like they had been microwaved 5 times. Egg fried rice did not look right and the chicken in chow mein was mushy. I wouldn’t have even fed it to my dog. We bagged all the food back up rang and asked for a full refund. We got our refund and we were told to tell them next time if we wanted our food with more of a kick to let them know. Sorry it was our first and last time we will order again vile isn’t the word.

Disgusting the steak was all fatty n came in 3 tiny pieces the prawn crackers were awful never ever again

Extremely poor quality, ordered starter of mixed Hors D'oeuvres - spring rolls totally missing from order, crispy chicken wings meat had been removed so only skin and bone, prawn toast burnt and tasted of old oil, crispy seaweed some form of brassica covered in sugar. Would never visit again.

Absolutely awful food who ever gave it a a high rating are so wrong we wont be going back in there total disappointment

The food is definitely worth more that the 2 stars I have given. It is definitely the best around but........seeing as the delivery time is 120 minutes/2 hours from ordering and it still doesn’t arrive on time is unacceptable. If they can’t deliver in 2 hours then they need to stop taking more orders and concentrate on delivering the ones they have backed up!!

Always great food and pleasant service

Called in a few weeks ago hoping we could have a sit down meal, but we were prepared to be advised it was takeout as it was late. I asked the gentleman if we could sit in and he was completely fine with it, even though they were busy with takeout orders. Absolutely amazing service, very friendly and welcoming staff. Our food was delightful and I couldn't fault it. Fairly priced as well, would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back.

Visit here very regularly for eating in and taking away, never had a problem with anything and find staff always go above and beyond expectations to make sure I have an amazing meal, I must also add that everytime I have visited the restaurant and toilets have been immaculate. We’ve eaten at Panda Panda before and enjoyed it but tonight it was appalling. We were booked in for 7.15 and waited over 2 hours for our starters, when our main course was not even nearly ready we left, hungry! The manager was useless, he didn’t even stick up for his staff when one customer behaved absolutely disgusting towards her. Our experience was incredibly poor but I would certainly never resort to shouting at a teenage girl who was running around trying to do her best!! Covid secure measures were non existent. Tables with far too many people on them and too close together. Cleanliness was left wanting. It was apparent that greed had taken over. Too many people had been booked in to benefit from the eat out to help out scheme. Greed won’t help when the council come visiting. Will not return.

Booked here for my birthday seven adults two children for half seven. We didn't get seated until 8.40 waited to order and in the finish told them if they didn't take our order we would have to leave as taxis etc were booked. They took the order, however no food arrived some of my family had to go as it was now half nine, then the girl came over to ask for our order again as they had lost it,, only some of us gave them an order and have to take it home as a takeaway, the resteraunt had obviously overlooked and overfill giving no consideration to social distancing, horrendous night birthday spoilt and will never go back

Normally enjoy it but last night was a complete meltdown nearly 2 hours to get starters walked out when mains were still not ready.My main concern was about no idea of been Covid safe clueless they need closing down until they can be educated won't be going anywhere near the place until it has all been sorted out.

I have been to this restaurant a couple of times for a meal and ordered takeaway too and always been happy but tonight was an absolute farce! We booked a table for half past 7 to celebrate my aunties birthday but due to complete greed on the owners part they have either taken too many bookings or let too many walk in with the Eat Out to Help Out scheme. It took until 8.40pm for them to seat us and we had to shout to them and ask them to take our orders or said we would have to leave because we had taxis booked home and two 1 year old babies with us. It is now 9.05, we are waiting on our food and have two screaming babies who are exhausted because by now we should have been almost finished our meals. There are other people who booked tables with young children who also have had to wait ridiculous amounts of time for their tables. After this experience I will not be returning. The one star I have given is for the two English girls working as a waitress and in the bar who have been getting all the anger from customers while the owners hide in the back! Further edit: just after posting this review the man running the restaurant came over to us and said they had LOST our order! There was 8 adults that had ordered so it was two or three sheets or the order pad! How do you lose that?! So we had to totally reorder and watch people who were seated after us getting their food. I also spoke to a lady at the bar who was booked in for 7:15 and after 9pm they had only had their starters! She spoke to the manager and was very unhappy and had to have a real go at him. Finally we had to get our food to takeaway as our taxi turned up and had to sit and wait for us to get our food packed up. The manager gave us a further discount on top of the Eat Out to Help Out scheme but in my opinion after all that halle Ed put food should have been free!

Absolutely discussing service booked a table for 7 didn’t get seated to 7:50 took 2 hours for food to come then wrong orders were given. Staff have no clue as to what they are doing or how to cook. 6 other tables walked out. Could not believe how bad the service was dirty discussing place would not recommend for a dead rat should be shut down and set on fire. Absolutely shameful even that program would not go there. English staff can not understand English. Complete morons.

The food was brilliant. The service was ok but we had to call a waitress over to get menus. Strangely the starter came after the rest of the food was on the table. That misunderstanding aside we were all pleased with the food we had. We would all go back again

Food is really nice, prices are great but the service for delivery is honestly terrible. I was considering putting a 3 star because of how bad it is. When you ring they answer, but then ask if you can wait a second for them to do something. On multiple occasions I’ve found myself waiting up to 10-15 minutes sat on the line until I give up and ring again to get their attention. As I’m writing this I was just hung up on after waiting 10 minutes. Honestly the service is atrocious please sort it out.

Very friendly people who couldn't do enough for you I had the crispy beef with chill sauce it was delicious not sure about the chicken didn't taste like breast in the curry my husband had quite a slimey texture.

Got a takeaway, crab meat and sweetcorn starter... Nice but think crab was lacking. Salt & pepper ribs (baby short ribs).. again nice. Decent amount of meat. Special chow mein was lovely too. Thick noodles, Beef, Chicken, Prawns, Pork and Ham? Unusual but it was nice!

had a beef chow mein and I've never had such bland food in my life. noodles if you can call them noodles we're anorexic they were that thin I could sew with them. the beef was like cardboard I had to bin it... total gross would never buy from here again

We have been here a number of times now and the food is always good and the owners are always very friendly, along with there staff. On our recent visit we had starters and a main course and were given free ice cream. Highly recommend.

Really good experience. I’d recommend you find out for yourself. Sui Mai dumplings were lovely. Portion size just right for a starter. They should definitely do a bigger main portion (I like to order stuff I don’t cook at home or can buy from Sainsbury’s) Really good attentive service, I rate anywhere poorly if I don’t get a cheerful Nee How (spelling) when I enter. I got one here! My only criticism is the lager offer is basic, fosters (not good) bottles of Tsing Tao, cold but not super cold. I’d happily pay for a better offer. Bento boxes were lovely. Chow mien was great. Definitely go back x

Our first visit to Panda Panda (9-1-20) and I have to say the food was excellent. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is clean and nicely laid out. The prices are very reasonable given the good quality food they serve. We will be returning very soon

Was there again Saturday night for a family meal which all 4 thought was awesome, we were given a new starter to try cold beef with a garlic sauce, again awesome & the Chinese chips are to die for!!! Love it here awesome, everyone knows you can't please all the people all the time, there's always something to moan about no matter what you are doing

Really good food and friendly staff crispy duck was perfect hot and sour soup really good the main meals were great aswell. About time bishop had a good Chinese restaurant again will definitely be back
