The best restaurants serving Chinese food in West End City of London, Westminster London

One of the better meals at this traditional favorite in Mayfair. The food was well-prepared and presented nicely on this occasion.

Unsure what to expect, but certainly not disappointed. Although the menu is limited the taste compensates for in the relaxed, friendly family run venue. Particularly enjoyed the chicken wanton in the chilli vinegar and will be taking advantage of the takeout delivery for that tricky-to-buy-for Xmas gift. Looking forward to my return visit.

The most fantastic place for a special occasion. Beautiful setting and location. Brilliant food with generous portions. Team were very accommodating, starting with Carmel who was our point of contact for arranging our event. Helped with menu tweaks, and catered to all dietary requirements, including kids. All staff on site also attentive and helpful. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you all for a fantastic experience that we will never forget.

Da fuori è molto invitante, sarà per la moltitudine di cestelli take away che si vedono in china town. Ci siamo seduti e abbiamo provato un po' di cose, dai bao ai wonton alla noodle soup e una pietanza di manzo. Come gusto i Bao erano nella norma, mentre i noodles non sapevano di nulla. Il locale è normale, l'offerta sul menu un po' povera. Il personale molto attento e gentile. Il prezzo troppo elevato (anche se fosse stato buono).

UPDATE: We became regulars here until 2020 and were very sad indeed to dscover that it has closed its doors. A real loss to anyone who enjoys first quality Japanese food! This is one of the best Japanese restaurants in London but it is so authentic that you need a guide. The sushi is good, the usual menu items are very good but if you really want to eat well you need to choose from the blackboard with the day's dishes chalked up in Japanese. Marinated squid guts and tuna cheek are delicious and so genuine: you could be in a very good local restaurant in Japan. These kind of dishes are not found in most London Japanese restaurants and this is why Sakana Tei is special. Grab a Japanese or literate Chinese friend and treat them in return for choosing the delicious surprises you would normally miss!

This place was great! It's apparently the oldest Sichuan restaurant in London, and it has aged well. We wanted to order absolutely everything, but managed to restrain ourselves to just 4 dishes - fish flavour aubergine, cumin lamb, the chilli chicken you can see (can't remember the exact name), and the hotpot with luncheon meat (also not the exact name). Everything was great, definitely too much food for 2 people but they happily gave us boxes to take it away. The flavour was amazing - the balance of flavour was fantastic, and the staff checked with us on the spice level (we asked for spicy!). Overall I would happily recommend this place, and will return. Si quieres pedir comida para llevar. tienes que empezar a invertir en el transporte de productos. tener una bolsa adecuada y cambiar la máquina selladora de té. Si pasó sólo una vez puedo entender pero tres veces no puedo. por eso escribo aquí. para todos aquellos que leen para evitar que te quiten. sólo que tuviste la suerte que ordenó tan lejos de ti. porque después de las 11 . 30 pm la mayoría de las tiendas están cerradas y eso te deja a ti y a Bora&Mora. has perdido un cliente.
