Biju Bubble Tea in City of London, Westminster

Lovely interior and quirky designs greet you when you go inside Biju bubble tea. It’s quiet enough that you can read and enjoy your bubble tea inside or you can take your drink to go. I have had fruit tea and taro milk tea from Biju when I have visited before and both were delicious. The tapioca pearls are plump and soft, the drinks are amazing and the service is always fast. It’s also one of the few bubble tea stores they serve an all vegan menu which is great for people avoiding or allergic to dairy. The price is very reasonable as well; my only critique is that they could maybe serve the drinks in large cups to fit with the price but other than that always stellar drinks.

Very disappointed, this was my first time trying Biju… We orderd via Deliveroo. Today is the hottest day of the year & we really was looking forward to having Bubble teas. However, I understand someone kindly drew cartoons & flowers on the top of the Bubble tea caps however when we pierced our Straws all the blue marker pen transferred onto the drink. My son who is 4 yrs old drank few sips not knowing till I relised his lips went blue, he ended up drinking the marker pen. We have to now throw away 3 drinks!!! Please refrain from using marker pens on the plastic film ontop of the drinks. Completely ruined now.

Delicious matcha latte; you can really taste the high-quality matcha. I unfortunately cannot recommend the earl grey bubble tea: it barely tastes like tea and it is watery, because they put a lot of ice in it.

I went with my cousin as she was raving about it. The tea was ok, it was the atmosphere around it that was appalling. Very rude staff, it was 4-5 of them. The lady who took my order (curly hair) said “what you want” not even Hi. She said something to a guy behind the machines who started playing music from his speakers, which was so loud I couldn’t understand what she was saying or even if she was talking to me. Then, I moved to the side and a tall guy was shouting/ Using F words to other guy, I’m not sure if it was banter or he was actually telling him off, it was just unbearable. It was 3.30pm on the Saturday afternoon. We finally got our tea and the tall guy said Move… trust me I was about to leave the tea behind, I never seen a stall so unorganised, rude… who was in charge of this ? Hard to say, they all seemed not bothered by anything or FORCED to work there. My friend was behind us and while she was ordering, the curly hair girl, moved to the left to talk to her friend… showing something on her phone. I mean, speechless!

Loved this friendly cafe! All the staff are amazing!! This is the 4th time i come and order the same thing, everytime i leave satisfied!

We tried Taro Milk tea with jelly (personal fave) and Hong Kong Milk tea (never seen on a menu before). Both were full of flavour! Delicious. Slightly hidden away and the seating area is in need of an update, it looks pretty old and worn. Definitely pop in for the tea though to takeaway!

There was a queue but to be expected on a sunny 🌞 afternoon on a Bank Holiday. Looked like it needed a bit of a revamp, almost looks closed. However the flavours and tea 🍵 are really good and don't be put off by the shabby appearance.

I have been to biju several times over the last year, and have never been disappointed. Bubble tea in general is quite expensive, but bijus’ bubble tea is reasonably priced for the excellent quality produced in every drink. They allow flexibility with drinks, such as ice and sugar which is not possible in all bubble tea places. I have tried bubble tea in Taiwan (origin of bubble tea) and it’s safe to say that biju’s bubble tea reminds me a lot of bubble tea in Taiwan. Would recommend as they are generous with toppings and the employees are all accommodating especially when unsure of which drink to get.

The staff member at the till was too interested in his colleague at the back to want to give me any attention, even after I said “hi”... since I was ignored, I stood by my fiancé waiting for some acknowledgment and we both watched as this guy continued to converse with his colleague rather than serve customers. I should have trusted my instincts to not bother, but I wanted the bubble tea. Once I ordered, I returned to my fiancé but realised that this store had alternative milks (which they had on the counter top), so I asked if I could have Almond milk instead, but since they had already poured the regular milk they were hesitant to change it and the same staff member who was busy conversing with his colleague at the back had the audacity to say to me (and I quote) “this is what you will get NEXT time” because he was not willing to change my order this time. Needless to say that will be the last time I buy my bubble tea from this store.

The Bubbles tea Is good but the rudeness of employees is unbelivable. It was pretty clear that the lady was disappointed by serving people.

My first visit to Biju as my friends recommended me to go. I ordered Matcha Milk tea with pearls (regular size) and it costed me a hefty £4.5! Ouch... It tasted mild and the tapioca pearls were tiny and tasteless (usually they add a bit of sugar when cooking the pearls). Do take not that they give out a lot less pearls compared to other bubble tea places that I have been. One good thing was they gave out paper straws instead of plastic ones. The place had ample of cushion seats to chill on (no tables). The staff did not allow me to use the toilet - which is a shame I think because we're consuming a lot of liquid.

Small cafe that gets very busy. The bubble tea is on par with the other stores, however inside due to the business is can get messy and crowded.
