The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Bromley London

Thought after a bad experience years ago, i would give Maxims another go. Terrible. Food was cold, chicken certainly not fresh, crispy chilli beef, was definitely not crispy with no chilli & coated in sweet and sour sauce, no flavour at all. Crispy seaweed not crispy and cold. Watered down hoisin sauce, greasy prawn toast! No taste in anything at all and all cold. Will never use again! So disappointed. Would never recommend to anyone. Thrown most of it away.

Xian is a finely tuned machine of a restaraunt. Nobody waits around for too long but nobody is rushed either. The staff are super efficient but friendly and happy to accomodate any request. Victor, the propriator, is charming and welcoming and chatty without being overwhelming and makes everybody feel very special. It really feels like a restaraunt for a very special occasion, a real treat, but when the bill comes you realise it is no more expensive than a meal at a high street chain restaraunt. The food is exquisite. Always fresh and hot and sizzling and absolutely delicious. The portion sizes are very generous. The flavours are amazing whatever you might choose and the set meals are very good value and a proper feast. I haven't had finer chinese food anywhere in London including Soho. I have been here so many times and have always had such a great time. Book in advance, especially for the weekend as it is always packed and the atmosphere is fantastic, with groups of people and families having such a great time, the staff buzzing around and the atmosphere so much fun. As we go as a couple we often get a little table in the middle of the restaraunt and they always apologise for it but it's great because we get to people watch all their customers having fun.

I don’t think the restaurant has been decorated since I last went over 20 years ago, but the food was fantastic and the service was friendly and attentive. I would recommend booking as it was very busy.

Great local take away - CASH ONLY

Soy vegetariana desde hace seis años y me encantaba la comida china para llevar. Sin embargo, la mayoría de los lugares solo ofrecen una alternativa vegetal. ¡No en New Chong Kees! El pato vegetariano con panqueques es absolutamente delicioso, y también tienen pollo vegetariano, así como una gran selección de platos de verduras, si no eres un fanático de la carne falsa. Esta es la mejor selección vegetariana que he visto para un chino que no solo te acompaña con verduras. ¡A nosotros los vegetales también nos gusta un poco de comida chatarra! ! ! Siempre comida de primera calidad a buen precio. He visitado este lugar unas 6 veces y nunca me ha decepcionado.

A hidden gem of great dim sum favourites. They do the best Cantonese dishes south of soho. Roasts also a specialty. Not a big restaurant, so if you have a large party, book in advance.

Amazing and authentic Chinese cuisine

im and unhappy with the way the online thing is set up me and 13 friends had planned to go there for a birthday and we took an almost 2 hour journey to get there and the place was not open even though online it said it was online we came there mutiple times and it was closed and we spent almost 4 hours travelling just for the restaurant to be closed

Very disappointed with the Salt and Chilli squid. Cut in thin pieces and was very dry and rubbery. Only ate 2 pieces before binning. Shame as has been very nice before.

Not sure what food everyone else is eating as this is the worst Chinese I've eaten . The mushroom rice was with peas , not one solitary pea was seen but lots of egg not advertised which I'm allergic to. Restaurant rudely suggested the egg was shown in the non existent picture! Every other rice dish has the allergens listed why not the rice. Food delivered over half hour late so chicken was cold. First time ordering from here and it will be my last. Wouldn't give it to my dog!!

Ordered a takeaway and the pork dumpling’s were completely raw inside, they hadn’t been cooked at all

Usually the flavours are delicious but today everything lacked taste. First time ordering the most expensive rice dish; House Special Fried Rice - it was awful and daylight robbery at £8! As usual the pancake rolls were lovely, but not good enough to rush back.

Chicken chow mein was tasteless.
