The Money Tree in Bromley

Not sure what food everyone else is eating as this is the worst Chinese I've eaten . The mushroom rice was with peas , not one solitary pea was seen but lots of egg not advertised which I'm allergic to. Restaurant rudely suggested the egg was shown in the non existent picture! Every other rice dish has the allergens listed why not the rice. Food delivered over half hour late so chicken was cold. First time ordering from here and it will be my last. Wouldn't give it to my dog!!

Just ordered yesterday, the customer service was great very polite lady and my order was delivered promptly. The soup and salt and peppered starters I ordered were delicious and aromatic duck wasn’t too oily. Will be ordering again!

Avoid at all costs. Ordered this evening for home delivery. 1 hour delivery time which was fine. Time got pushed back despite a text saying the order had been dispatched. Tried calling the restaurant. Constantly engaged. Between my partner and I we made over 50 calls to the restaurant - constantly engaged. Phone off the hook by any chance? Anyway Over 2 hours after ordering and an hour after saying it was being delivered, it turned up. Sent it away. Didn't want it. Delivery guy said he only picked it up 10 minutes ago. Restaurant lied. Atrocious customer service.

Dreadful and late. No help from the restaurant

App said it was delivered when it wasn't. Phoned shop twice. Eventually arrived 2 hours from ordering with no apology

Great food although the order was wrong!

Delivery was unreliable. Order seemed to be updated as being on the way before it was even with the driver. Food was fine but I did reheat in the microwave. Would like to use again but will think twice due to poor info on updates.

Delivery time was 7:10-730 food arrived around 8:30I called the restaurant three times and I was assured my food was on its way the first time , second time I was told they had to get an emergency driver as one had gone home but my food was on its way ,on the third time of phoning I was told the food was on its way that the driver had left five minutes ago so I had to question the first two times of being told the food was on its way. I would rather be told the truth the first time and I would have collected it myself as I’m only 6-7 minutes away. POOR SERVICE.

I've ordered a few times from money tree and ots been quite OK. Today however, the meat wasnt very nice in the chow mein and the ribs had virtually no meat on them. I was very disappointed . Usually its far better.

Sweet and sour chicken was very bland. Lady on the phone couldn’t tell me how far the driver was

First time I have used this service it was so easy.

Arrived very late and all of the food was cold. Used this restaurant plenty of times. But this time the attitude was not good nor was the food. Most of the order was wasted.

The meal was nice when it eventually arrived once we had reheated it as it was very late and cold.

Chicken balls were pink inside and the food was delivered cold. Very disappointed with this meal and would like full refund.

Ordered from deliveroo was absolutely disgusting it all tasted the same vile !! Salt and pepper chicken wings stunk of curry and tasted like 💩definitely not salt and pepper threw all in the bin had an hour argument with deliveroo before getting a refund avoid this place and even deliveroo !!!!

Really poor quality food. Soggy chicken balls, soggy chilli beef, sauce for bbq pork was congealed, and the mixed hors d’oeuvres were really greasy. Will not be ordering from here again.

I was never a lover of Chinese food but this place is spot on

Pork was too spicy but can't see where it says spicy on website had to throw pork in bin but everything else was very nice ribs fell of the bone delicious beef was soft and juicy

VEGETARIANS! DO NOT EAT HERE!! I ordered braised beancurd…it is not marked as vegetarian but nothing on the menu is…it does however not have any allergy symbols which include fish, crustaceans and molluscs on the menu key. It tasted fishy so I phoned to check…the lady argued with me it is made with fish sauce but it is vegetarian as it’s only in the sauce and that is how all take away restaurants work. I pointed out she is definitely wrong and she refused to accept my point insisting it was vegetarian even with fish in the sauce and refused to refund me saying she’d credit me for my next order. Quite obviously there won’t be a next order.

Chicken chow mein is good, as are the duck rolls, however I'd give the mini veggie spring rolls a miss next time, but would order from here again!

Excellent food and delivery. Can not fault it.

Food was horrible, chips weren't edible, spring rolls were soggy all the way through, chicken was like rubber...and having to wait over an hour for the food to be delivered is beyond a joke! I would like a full refund on this order!

Food was great value for money and delicious. Ordered at 7.15 and was delivered at 8.40, which was a very long wait, however was well worth it in the end. They or the driver might have just had a busy night. I would order again though

We fancied a won ton soup. Crustacean. No meat but the won ton tasted of meat. Not too happy about that as i do not eat pork and beef. The rest of the food was really good and still pipping hot. Thats why i gave them a 4 star.

Delicious as always. Food was delivered early but one dish was missing. When I called to let them know, it was sorted straight away and the dish was delivered within a few minutes. Brilliant service!

the food didn’t really have much flavour, the best part about everything we ordered was the rice. the noodles were bland, and most of the meat dishes tasted close to water than the actual flavour

Unfortunately, our food arrived cold and one of the containers wasn’t shut properly. Also, the chow mein was burnt. Sorry.

Only when I had clicked PAY did the 25-40 minutes turn into just over an hour to wait - bit disappointed with that - otherwise food was hot and delicious and plenty of it.

Was very late and when rang to ask how long was dealt with very unprofessionally.

I ordered my food at 7pm Est delivery time 8:10 - 8:30pm I received a text at 8:20 saying it was on its way I received my food at 9:10pm!!! Thats with me calling and chasing my order! The crispy chilli beef was dry, the chicken wings sauce was all stuck together where it has obviously been sitting on the side for to long, my prawn crackers were stale. I have ordered multiple times from time place but never have I received such poor food and care

I ordered a takeaway on Sunday night (tonight) and just had to write a review about how great the food is, I am eating it as we speak! For the last few years I’ve been constantly disappointed by Chinese restaurants and have felt as though they’ve been a waste of money and poor quality. Not Money Tree! This is definitely my new go-to Chinese take-away in the Beckenham area. I was greeted at my door by a lovely smiling lady and the food reminded me of the kind of Chinese food I’d had years ago, i.e. actually good! You can tell they are focussed on the quality, presentation and flavours in the meal. It tasted fresh and the sauce for each dish was a delightful consistency. I will definitely be ordering again, absolutely satisfied and would definitely recommend. Thank you Money Tree!

Arrived quickly and piping hot food. Just a bit salty for my taste on this occasion but that’s just my personal opinion. Would definitely order again.

All food was cold- missing items- when reheated at home it was like I was eating pure salt. £70 + order absolutely disgusting. Will be taking back tomorrow for a full refund

Curry sauce, egg fried rice and spring rolls didn’t taste of much so was disappointing. Prawn toast was nice. Overall quite disappointing.

Delicious food served warm and on time

Always fantastic food and always delivered between the times stated upon ordering, ours was actually earlier than the time stated which was perfect. Can never fault it.

Was very disappointed with my order today, it arrived late, it was cold, i asked for no onions in any of the order it was full of them, i asked for no bean shoots in the plain chow mein and it was full of them, i ordered plum ribs and got honey ribs, the sweet and sour sauce had no taste sweet or sour. In fact the only part of the order that was ok was the free prawn crackers

Got to say the quality and taste of this Chinese takeaway was first class. We will order from this establishment again. Recommended!

No taste and over an hour for delivery.

Crispy chilli beef, special fried rice, duck and chow main, this is honestly the worst Chinese iv had in my life, it was rubbery, chewy, flavourless and the food rice was so dry, it was awful, I called and told them my issues and I was told there is nothing that can be done and it’s my own fault, they were rude abrupt and dismissive.

Very enjoyable. Lots of fresh flavours.

I’ve ordered from here twice now. The first time the food was very bad but thought I’d try again and it was equally as bad food.

Absolutely useless. Ordered our food at 7 O’clock and was told it would be here at 8:30, bit of a wait but Friday night so whatever. Called at 8:45 and was told it would be there at 9:30.. but didn’t receive it until 10! Food wasn’t even worth it. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Food was poor spare ribs looked like boiled meet on the bone not very appetising. Prawn toast was dripping with oil. Chicken chow mein flavourless.

Awful experience. Restaurant puts their phone off the hook so you can’t contact them. Food was 3 hours late. Yes.. you read that correct, 3 hours. The food is average, so given the wide choice of other places, I’d give this a miss.

This food was amazing, tasted so fresh and tasty, portions were a good size, 1/4 of duck was a good size, extra portion of prawn crackers thrown in and extra prawn toast! Really impressed, was delivered promptly, will definitely be using again.

Absolutely awful experience from this restaurant. Ordered at 6:15 didn’t get the meal until after 9. Way over two and half hours for our food. Delivery was meant to be at 7:40 when we ordered so already an hour half which we understood due to it being New Years however I don’t expect to wait nearly 3 hours. Didn’t get an updates, couldn’t get hold of them at all. Everytime I called it was busy. Food was poor quantity, missing items. Overall shocking service.

Restaurant added 40 mins onto delivery time and food still turned up 20 mins late (ordered at 18:45 food arrived 20:30) food was warm, egg riced rice looked and tasted disgusting, one dish had a slimy texture and tasted grim. Overall very disappointed

This restaurant is a true gem. We love the food and the restaurant consistently provide quality meals. It maybe a little more expensive than other places but you can’t beat it for food and worth the extra. Such good food!

Food was excellent but delivery was very late

Food was great and delicious, my mum was a little disappointed with the Kung Pao Chicken but otherwise we thought everything was well cooked and delicious. Delivery was a little late, leading us to wonder if we should phone up, but the driver arrived just in time.

Food ok but forgot prawn crackers. Good food but expensive for fairly mid quality. Starters were a bit squished. Good menu range and happy to find a Chinese that will deliver for a small fee.

Ordered our food at 7.30 spoke to them at at 8.30 and they said order is on its way . Called 49 mins later to be told it's not been sent out , isn't ready and can't give me a time when it would be delivered. Terrible service , terrible customer service . AVOID

Everything was so tasty!, the spare dry ribs are to die for! :).

Tried the food from hear at my local one was close, food wasn't great at all sorry guys won't be ordering from here again.
