Food was cold and the salt and pepper prawns didn’t taste freshly cooked they tasted reheated

The squid wasn’t to my taste but the singapore vermicelli was nice.

Food delivered with a smile, piping hot and full of flavour!! Without doubt the very best large pancake roll I have had. We regularly order from here and always delightful. Thank you

Food arrived in very good time but only just very warm but that wasn't too bad. I picked the mixed starter and there was plenty there for up to 3 people. The beef curry was very nice but was in quite a small container to the usual one I get but it was enough for me, It was very nice but a few too many large bits of onion although it was still very tasty. I would definitely order from here again.

Really happy we have found this takeaway.  They never dissapoint. We moved to the area a year ago, almost gave up on ordering Chinese food, all places fell very shot, then we discovered this wonderful place, super friendly staff, always look at the notes (don't even have to ring in advance to make sure), their portions are very generous,  bursting with flavour, always arrive piping hot. Their meat is great quality,  they also cater to vegans too, keeping beautiful flavours there too, which helps in my household.  Great prices too, extremely reasonable without sacrificing quality. They know how to uses spices correctly to produce their food, without the need of msg for flavour. Our goto takeaway and look forward to the next order.

Awful Chinese. Tasteless, low quality ingredients, the pork tasted a bit off. I ate half and the rest went in the bin.

Perfect really hot and lovely food

It's the first time we've ordered from here, the food was delicious with good portion sizes. The food wasn't really oily either which was a major plus. The family were happy tonight and we've agreed to make this our go to restaurant for Chinese food.

This was the worst food I’ve ever tasted

Quite worrying when you place an order and the food arrives within 15-20mins. The food taste re heated (as if it were leftovers from lunch time). Rice was bland, chow mein super greasy and chips flash fried so we’re still hard in the centre! Not impressed, waste of almost £40. I’ll be sticking to my usual Chinese in future.

Some of the food wasn’t very hot, but has been in the past. Unfortunately, we didn’t enjoy the food this evening.

Food delivered with a smile and on time. Unfortunately it was very disappointing food. Chow Mein and seaweed very greasy and quite bland tasting. Again, the prawns in breadcrumbs were bland. The vegetarian vermicelli was OK and quite spicy.

Loved the spring roll and fried wonton dumplings. Salt and pepper chicken, way too salty, no pepper! Chicken curry, bland. Loved the free samosas. Everything well packaged and delivered on time.

Ummed and Ahhhd about cooking or not but choose to order a Chinese all though money is tight. When it arrived one of the containers carry the chicken curry had leaked everywhere in the bag, the food tasted like the frying oil hadn’t been changed in weeks, everything tasted odd, wasted £50 on an order for me and the missus, she hardly ate any of it 👎 worst Chinese I’ve had in a long time,

Couldn’t eat it. I understand food is cooked without MSG after reading the reviews but didn’t think that meant the food would be cooked with zero flavour or seasoning. Food was also wet and greasy. Really disappointed.

Well done Peking Chef at last Ive found a restaurant that serves hot food thats fresh generous amounts and tastes great and served with a smile by a lovely delivery driver 10/10 👍🏼

Chips were so soggy. Portions were so bad for the prices, noodles and chicken wings were bland. Beef and duck was good though. Not the worst, not the best.

Ridiculously late Atrocious quality. Schezuan dish must have been microwaved in a bowl that hadn’t had the sweet and sour washed out. Mixed meat noodle dish had almost no meat. The meat there was was unrecognisable. Chips I think had been cooked last week and then microwaved.

The portions where small the garlic chicken wasn’t the right one. Incorrect order and wrong food, small portions too.

Okay food but lacking in much flavour

Very disappointed in PC. The service has gone downhill. The food was average, the satay chicken looked and tasted like it had been cooked several times, gloppy rice, overcooked and under seasoned. Duck with pancakes came with the smallest container for plum sauce I have ever seen.

Always order from Peking Chef. Staff are friendly and professional, food arrives on time and hot.

Two items missed from order. Food was bland and some was cold. Won't be using again

The food was hugely disappointing on taste. It took over an hour to arrive and the special fried rice and the chow mein was dry. Will go back to our usual chinese takeaway and not order from here again.

The worst chinese we have ever had! We bit into the chicken satay and spat it straight out it felt really undercooked and soggy - almost wet. The duck was fine but I couldn’t believe the state of the satay chicken. Do not order from here, chicken is inedible. The reviews are correct - wish I read them before ordering!

Average quality and very expensive for what it is. Most places offer free prawn crackers over a certain amount spent, but not here. Over £3 for one pancake roll is extortionate! They need to seriously think about their pricing policy and offer the public, greater value for money.

The chicken was under cooked and very chewy couldn’t even bite into it. Restaurant was understanding and gave refund.

Sweet and sour chicken balls were far too doughy and undercooked. Inedible. Rest of the order was average.

Order arrived late despite booking a particular time earlier in the day, and arrived cold, however once reheated, the crispy duck made the wait worthwhile.

The food turned up early. We were told 50 minutes and it came in 20 minutes. The food was not fresh and mostly cold. The dishes 5 in total did not have any favour and the lemon chicken was rubbery. We were very dissatisfied and my partner throw his in the bin without finishing it.

We started off with duck with pancakes they were quite nice. Sadly the rest is actually inedible...prawn dish smells off, the rice and noodle dishes have ended up in the bin and the rest is so cheap and oily to be joining the rest in the bin. Sadly this order was barely edible! What a disappointment. We won’t be going bad having thrown £60 in the bin. This meal has left us all feeling green. Sorry :(

Was really horrible food, really expensive and not tasty food

Food was hot but totally bland. We ate it because we were hungry but wouldn’t order again. We tried this restaurant because it was reasonably local and had a 5 star hygiene rating. Bit disappointed really.

First time trying this restaurant and the chicken in the chow mein was awful. Probably wouldn’t look to order from here again considering the price is a lot higher than the other Chinese’s locally.

Ordered a chicken udon. Received a chicken chow mein. When I rang to say that I received the wrong dish the guy denied it. I know the difference between Udon and chow mein. Completely different to the other 3 udon's we've had from here. Pork balls were so overcooked I couldn't bite into them. Shame, previous orders have been class

Truly awful quality. The squid was rock hard- had it been fried then re-heated? Tasted like it had, horrible. The kung po chicken was one of the worst I’ve ever had, everything else was bland. Has given us terrible integration. We will never order from here again.

The food was bland. Both the dishes tasted the same except for a little chili at the bottom of one of them. The chop suey was flavourless, but had good, fresh mushrooms. The soup was alright. The delivery guy was great.

Food was not particularly tasty. Different dishes had the same flavour. Would usually eat left overs next day but I rather throw this away.

First delivery ordered in Bromley area. Service was good staff really polite and friendly when we called. Delivery guy was cool. But the food wasn’t quite to what I’m used to as it tasted over seasoned. So I would say food was average at best. Still ate the order as best we could and have so much left over.

Despite saying that I had a nut allergy to the restaurant, I had allergic reaction while eating my meal from here!!! I use to order from here all the time, but I definitely won’t order again!

I've been ordering from this restaurant for many years and they have delivered another satisfying enjoyable meal. It's the one I have always come back even after trying something else. In my experience they do always beat the delivery time by some margin, so don't be put off if you want something quickly, it will normally arrive sooner than advertised.

I couldn’t eat the chicken in the chicken curry dish. Chicken is not an expensive ingredient to buy so why would you use chicken pumped full of water? It didn’t taste like chicken and I spat it out it was so disgusting. The dish is small and you charge £6.20 and you use chicken of such poor quality it’s just pure greed for profit. Well enjoy your profit as you will never get another order from us. Disgraceful.

delivery took around one hour and 20 minutes since placing order. quite poor timing. Ho fun and crispy pancake was oily and soggy, crispy wonton was the only nice thing. probably will not order again there are better chinese places

No veg in the Kung po chicken especially onions please

This is the 2nd time Just eat cancelled my order and left me hanging. Luckily the restaurant called and we are still getting our order this time.

Singapore noodles lacked salt. But i liked that it wasn’t too spicy & not too oily either. Curry samosas & vegetarian chow mein were tasty too :)

The last time we ordered from here, the food was great, however this time I was really disappointed. The egg fried rice was really bland and there was no sign of any egg in it. The chicken balls were cold and rubbery and didn't have any flavor. The chilli prawn dish was really dry where all the sauce had leaked out of the pot. Really disappointed as it was so nice last time. We have been trying to contact just eat about this but haven't been able to get through.

Food was ok. Special chow mien has minimal flavour, bbq ribs didn’t look like bbq or taste like bbq just ribs in a brown sauce, sweet sour chicken was good.

I ordered online to have my food delivered at a certain time and it was half and hour late! The food was just above cold. Very disappointed.

Beef was so tuff it wasn't edible, oyster sauce had no taste.

I’ve tried to ring but it was delivered to wrong adresss

We ordered for the first time, our food was ready on time. The lady serving completely ignored my partner. A gentleman then served him. Our food tasted fresh and was clean tasting. We both enjoyed it but both said the rice, chow mien and chicken balls all tasted very bland. The duck was delicious though. Sometimes Chinese can be too salty or heavy this wasn’t it was very enjoyable. Will definitely try other dishes in the future.

The Singapore Noodles lacked some flavour. Everything else was fine.

When you’ve been a regular customer and a restaurant doesn’t deliver you can forgive them if they contact you and tell you that your order is delayed. However, when you are told it’s sitting ready and waiting for a driver and twenty minutes later it still doesn’t turn up and you decide to cancel as the food has probably been sitting for nearly an hour it is not a good idea to put the phone down on a customer rather than just apologise. Very poor.

3rd time we have used Pekign Dinner since Sanpam in Beckenham closed. Great food, The ribs were the meatest I have ever had. Chicken with ginger was full of flavour. The chow mien had massive pieces of meat in it. Friendly service as ever. We'll be back soon.

Our food arrived quickly in 10 mins special chow mien was greasy few bits of of flavourless meat no shrimp at all Chicken in black bean sauce few bits of processed chicken prawn balls and salt and pepper prawns small prawns and greasy and hard batter around them phoned to tell them offered new food as my son was throwing up as it made him feel sick

Our regular chinese take away in Beckenham has closed. We tried this for the first time a few nights ago. Allen, took my order and by the time we had a chat the food was ready. Very tasty. Kung Po chicken was not ccccover in a sweet sauce and was delicious. Chow mien was full of pieces of meat and not greasy. He has been here for 21 years so must be doing something right. Will definately be back.
