The best restaurants serving Chinese food in London

My partner and I decided to have dinner at this restaurant, but we were very disappointed. The portion sizes were extremely small compared to the high prices. We noticed that the takeaway menu was reasonably priced, but for dine-in, they had doubled the prices. During our meal, I asked for chili oil, which is usually provided for free with appetizers at other restaurants. However, they charged an unreasonable amount for it, and to make matters worse, the price wasn’t even listed on the menu. On top of that, there was a mandatory 12.5% service charge. The restaurant was empty, and now I understand why. the food was overly salty, one person was working in the restuarent keep saying they have to charge for tap water, charge to wash the glass etc which is ridiculous. overall, I ended up paying a ridiculous amount for a disappointing meal. I will never return.

As others have noted, the food here is fresh and lacks the usual greasiness of Chinese-style restaurants. The fish and vegetarian options were a real highlight for us, and we were treated to a complimentary dish of deep friend daikon - a nice touch and actually a stand out dish. The negative aspects were, unfortunately, the staff and overall ambience of the restaurant. First of all, I had specifically booked “The Snug” area when making my reservation online and when confirming it. Despite asking multiple times, this was not honoured when we arrived and no explanation was given - however the space was left empty throughout our meal which compounded our disappointment. Why offer the space as a booking option if it is not available in reality? Very confusing. Secondly, the restaurant was extremely cold. The only heat source seemed to be the air conditioning unit mounted on the wall. If you were not sat directly under this, you were cold. The outside terrace area actually felt warmer! This needs to be addressed for the winter months. On balance, I would give this place another go - ideally in the summer sat outside.

The service attitude is very bad, don't come here. The food is not good, expensive and tasteless. It's unfortunate if you have to come.

The ribs were quite tasty, much better than the previous Chinese takeaway I order from. The order delivery was quite swift.

Por el lado bueno, el maridaje de cervezas fue excelente y definitivamente elevó la experiencia. El personal era amable y experto en recomendarlo, lo que realmente aprecio. En términos de precios, el pollo con chile era de £ 14. 90, que me pareció un poco caro para el tamaño de la porción. Además, el restaurante aplica un 12. Cargo por servicio del 5% — algo con lo que normalmente estoy bien, pero en este caso, no se sentía del todo justificado basado en el plato que pedí. Dicho esto, no desalentaría a nadie a probar este lugar. El menú es extenso, y estoy seguro de que hay muchas joyas por descubrir. The service is fantastic,very quick and staff are extremely friendly.Also royal honey peach bubble tea was lovely with pearls.

I highly recommend The Wolf Lounge Bar and Restaurant, especially for take away food. The service is also excellent.

De acuerdo sobre el servicio de tirón. La camarera se olvidó de la loncha de cordero y dijo que estaba servida. Luego fuimos a la cocina y de vuelta con un plato! Ella no tenía idea de dónde estaba el interruptor para encender la olla caliente y nos hizo tropezar con la toma de pared solo para darnos cuenta de que era una toma diferente conectada en otro lugar. Luego, cuando trajo la olla caliente doble, se puso nerviosa y nos alertó sobre la sopa caliente que se derramaba y pudo ver las maniobras peligrosas que tenía que hacer malabares para traerla de la cocina y acomodarla en la placa caliente en una cavidad baja. Luego había cuencos con cucharas faltantes, etc. Desastre completo y tuvimos que levantar las manos para pedir esto y aquello. Una camarera más joven era muy antipática y nunca sonrió. ¿Por qué trabajar allí si estás harta de servir a los clientes? Para resumir... no habrá una próxima vez ni somos tontos para revivir esa experiencia de mierda.

My 5 year old loves eating dosa at saravana Bhawan at Rayner's lane. He specially gave a star sticker to the Chef Ramesh who makes delicious dosa here. My son loves your cheese dosas. Thanks a ton for the wonderful food.
