I highly recommend The Wolf Lounge Bar and Restaurant, especially for take away food. The service is also excellent.

I wrote a couple reviews for this restaurant but now those are outdated and the restaurant has changed a significant amount overtime. Firstly the name has changed to "The Fox Lounge". Secondly the decor has improved and the restaurant looks brighter and cleaner compared to the old, dark decor. However, the entertainment side is lacking and the sound and video quality is not clear and quiet. The atmosphere has also stayed the same and has not changed as it is still quiet and "dead". Therefore the renovation is 7/10 The restaurant hygiene has improved immensely and is now a lot better and the tables are no longer sticky and dirty and the cutlery is not as dirty. The plates were clean but there were minor bits of dirt which were wipeable. The walls were clean due to the new renovation. Therefore the restaurant hygiene has improved from 4/10 to 8/10 which is a major improvement. The restaurant service has sadly decreased from 5/10 to 3/10 as the waiters did not check up on my family and were more interested in talking. I asked the waiter for straws and instead of giving them he just gave me a tub without even looking at me. It is absolutely terrible! In the middle of me ordering my food, the waiter stepped back and looked as if he had better things to do due to the fact that he was avoiding eye contact, which is very anti social. The restaurant will never prosper with this management and will never improve. Therefore the service and management is 3/10. Sadly, at the start the food wasn't very good, the popadoms were stale and the peanuts tasted hard and dry. But then the food started to enhance as the spicy cauliflower was tasty and had a subtle touch of spice which lingered for a short period and then left. However the cauliflower inside had no taste. The reason I say inside is because the layer of taste was on the outside and not the inside of the dish, an easier way to explain this is like KFC chicken, the taste is on the outside, the batter, then there is nothing inside. After this my meat platter arrived and that was when the food went down hill. The lamb was dry and had half the meat burnt which had no taste, The kebabs were average and tasted alright, the wings and chicken Tikka tasted alright too. However, the paneer was rubbish and was like rubber, it had no taste and even had the texture of rubber because I could hear the paneer rubbing to my teeth and making a rubbing sound. Therefore the restaurant's food overall was 5/10. To conclude, I do not recommend this establishment as a place to dine with family and is more of a pub for you and the "lads". Therefore the average of all the scores is 4.7/10.

Was invited to this redone place good lay out large SAISHA BAR AREA garden compared to the the rest was very POOR. Had a few drinks and mixed GRILL which was good not over spiced the chicken tikka I felt was DRY the Naans were perfectly cooked we ordered Lamb chops which they didn't have in stock the excuse was they still beening marinated. The other thing I noticed that it did not look like PUB more of a restaurant

The driver was extremely rude and told me that the food is cold because he was outside for 3 minutes before I had even received the food or said anything to him he didn't even say hello he just starting ranting at me. I specifically instructed the restaurant to call me on my mobile when they had arrived, which I had provided to them on the instructions in the Just Eat. The driver was extremely aggressive and more or less threw the food at me and charged off. The food was stale cold and I called the restaurant they told me they would call me back in 10 minutes. 45 minutes later, I had to call back and the operator answered and hung the phone up without speaking several times. Then finally when he spoke he pretended he could not hear me. The service and the food was atrocious, I would advise anybody whom is considering ordering from this disgraceful excuse for a restaurant to go elsewhere. There are restaurants that will consider you a human being and treat you with respect without intimidating you at your doorstep in front of your children.

Arrived by chance for late lunch. The Bindi karkuri was especially fantastic. The rest of the food and nans were brilliant. The place needs redecorating otherwise pretty good.

Went here for a dinner on a few occasions and was pleasantly surprised. Food came fast and tasted great. Service was great and the seating area at the back was nice. Overall I would recommend coming to try out the food at the Wolf Lounge

Fue llevado a visitar el Salón de Wolf amigos que habían estado allí muchas veces en el pasado, y jurar!Desde que nos dijeron que el restaurante ha sido tomada por la nueva administración, sin embargo la comida era todavía a los niveles habituales. Pedimos una gran parrilla mixta entre nosotros tres, que estaba muy bien, y no demasiado picante, y seguido que con un plato principal.Las porciones eran generosas, y no podíamos terminar todo. Varias cervezas frías..

Been here a couple of times this month with friends for a drink and mixed grill.The place could do with. A deep clean as it has a LOT of potential but is going downhill.We ordered a mixed grill which tastes nice at first but then the meat seemed uncooked and we were put off.While eating we witnessed the manager being rude to the bar girls and waiters for no apparent reason not only on this occasion but several we asked the bar girls why he was rude they said he only cares about business an English girl who was very good at serving eventually left due to how she was treated so staff changes regularly due to the management not knowing how to run a bar restaurant this lack of expertise and concentration only on profit will be the end of this place eventually and they will turn it in to an off licence as these people always do the unprofessional manner in which the management shout at the staff in full view of punters is disgusting to say the least . The toilets are hardly ever cleaned water is put in soap dispensers to make it look like new soap rat mouse traps on full view broken benches with nails sticking out in the garden the list is endless don't go here take your business else where these amateurs don't deserve our money a health hazard place which I will surely report

This place has upgraded since the last time I was here. It's upgraded for the better as the inside is completely redone. The lunch special is a good price and drinks are cheap before four pm. The food was good, although a little slow to arrive. This is an improvement over the time I came a couple of years ago. Decent place.

Excellent place to have few drinks relax and enjoy with friends. Food is really good. If you like sports then it's a good place to enjoy.

Go there regularly but last 2 times we have been the food has been terrible. People are generally nice there but the food has gone downhill recently. First time fungus on a salad tomato, more recent it was a chicken dish with whole chillies and tomato purée which I was paying for.

I recently visited here because of other reviews but I must say despite both bar man and bar woman being exceptionally friendly and courteous, the food overall left a bad taste in my mouth. The venue is a murky bar/resteraunt reeking of meat with football on the big screens frequented by a lot of heavy drinkers so the atmosphere is very builder boozy and not really a place for females to feel comfortable. We didn't leave only because we were hungry. I am a vegetarian and ordered saag aloo, this dish was actually ok, and a paneer tikka masala which was unlike anything I've seen before, bright yellow and sweet!! The poppadoms which we started with immediately made me regret going as they were stale and the chutneys tasted like yoghurt gone bad. I could't eat them. However the kurkure bindis (fried and spiced ladyfingers) were good and we were given a very large portion. Once the main dishes arrived we felt like crying - ate what we could and left. The waitress was so nice we did not have the heart to say anything. A fellow 'diner' remarked that the meat dishes were nowhere near as good as another similar venue.

popped in for a few beers as one does was joined by a few friends and we decided to order for mixed grills and nan's, food took some time to come out but when it did was fantastic, juice lamb chops and succulent chicken could go wrong, Nice decor they have a DJ every friday night, so if you don't fancy popping out to town trust me you'd enjoy it here, the have screens everywhere and the amotshphere is buzzing.

Twice I have ordered a delivery, firstly both occasions were delivered on agreed time (45 mins and one hour). Food firstly and importantly was hot. (Not sure why the accompanying salad is transported within the same packet as that warms up too!).The mixed grill on both occasions was very good, though the varieties of meat are all spiced the same. The mixed vegetable curry is of fantastic flavour, the chicken dhansak was ok, as was the indo Chinese chilli chicken. Rice light and fluffy, and butter naan excellent. I will be ordering again!

It is 9.06pm I have not received my order which was placed at 7.30pm. No one at the restaurant is answering the phone. I am now left without anything to eat. Furious!!!

I use to go regularly once a week, but since the change the atompherre is not the same. The food is still good, with a good mix grill and great curries, however the funky club like decor is rather off putting especially with the disco lights. Would recommend for a good curry.

Shocking customer service. Not only do you have to allow an hour for delivery but then an extra half hour for late delivery. To call up and ask then and not even an apology. 'Your drivers a minute away' clearly not.

I'm sort of a regular customer, but haven't ordered from here in a while. Was very impressed by the quality and taste of the food tonight. Food arrived hot and seemed to have been freshly prepared. Delivered ahead of schedule as well. Very pleased with my order today.

Great food very tasty slight problem with the chicken not being cooked properly but chef came by and apologise and took it back but we decided not to have the chicken again and ordered the lamb kebabs. Bar staff very friendly and attentive would come again

We ordered chicken Korma. Butter chicken, lamb biryani, egg fried rice and fish pakoda. We requested not spicy and EVERYTHING was spicy. With lamb biryani they say they send vegetable curry and they didn't send it. Plus they took over an hour to deliver. Not ordering again from there. At least they could have called to tell it had to be spicy. I'm pregnant(41+2) and it was a big disappointment. I had to order a pizza because I couldn't eat it.

Food arrived almost half an hour late. Was barely warm infact the kebabs were cold and felt like rubber whilst chewing them. Lamb chops were so cold that you could see the yellow fat on them like its frozen. For such a big order, i ordered 5 items plus naan, they gave 2 tiny pots of chutney sauces. Taste wise it was also very poor compared to other places, didnt feel fresh whatsoever. Dissapointed.

I love this restaurant! We always order indian food from them as its the tastiest! I'm so glad they deliver! The food is always perfect and reminds me of Delhi! Perfect punjabi food! Love it!

Not impressed at all, probably won't order from them again. The methi chicken looked and tasted terrible apart from it being half filled aswell. There was no free side order of poppadums or salad which other restaurants provide as standard. The list of complaints could go on forever but it's not worth it!

Ordered at 830pm and received at 10:15pm. Called after an hour, and they said it was on its way. Food arrived cold, the meat and naans were soggy, and naans in particular were very dry. Very slow service with no apologies for the delay. Won't be doing a take away from here again.

Order quite reg from here as is local and compared to 2 weeks ago when food was late and kids meals burnt! Much better today food was fresh and very tasty kids meals a healthy size and perfectly cooked and not to mention the comp red wine ! Will defo be ordering again soon if they keep it up

The food was not so great...delivery took longer and the app said it was delivered. So I called restaurant and was informed the delivery on its way. Delivery man was a very polite and nice person so no problem if he took too long. But the food was very disappointing.

The Meal was fine,service was good.was told when i booked that there would be a DJ as 31Dec2015 and that it was fully booked by families.When we turned up-it was mainly occupied with Men and only two families who ate and left.And sadly no DJ and the barman decided to put up the chairs at 11.30 and somebody started to hoover near us.The owner was not interested.

We ordered a takeaway the food was okay not brilliant we had the Lolly Pop Chicken as a stater and Butter Chicken with Plain Naan.Lolly Pop Chicken not much there to eat very spicy and deep fried it was not what i expected.Butter Chicken was quite tasteless not much flavor to the dish.A nice bar & Lounge for drinks is cool.

Ordered from here first time. Was told my order would come half an hour after placing it. It actually came 1 hr and 10 mins later wasn't happy at all and to top that off the food came cold! When I told the delivery man he didn't seem bothered it apologetic. Rang the restaurant and no one answered.

Ravi and his team serve excellent and brilliant food and service, All the dishes I have tried are individually unique.

Where to start, the delivery was over an hour and 45 minutes late, literally could have walked there and back in the time it took to get to us, the food was obviously cold which isn't so bad because it can easily be warmed up but the quality of the food was mediocre at best, definitely not ordering from here again, stay clear!

This was honestly the worst experience I've ever had when ordering from JustEat. There should be a 0-star option just for this restaurant alone. The quality of the food was absolutley shocking. We had to warm up all the food ourselves as the food was almost as cold as ice by the time it reached. I wish that was an exaggeration. The delivery time.... The food was over 1 hour late, we called the restaurant constantly to find out why it had taken so long. When the driver arrived with our cold food 1 hour late, he even forgot to give us half the order as I had to chase him after opening the delivery bag to find that half the food wasn't there. The delivery was expected at 19.25 and reached us around 20.30. This was honestly the worst experience I've ever had ordering from a restaurant on JustEat and wouldn't recommend The Wolf Lounge to my worst enemy. Something should be done about this.

I ordered the food for 7.20. I called the restaurant 3 times (7.40, 8.00 and 8.15). Each time we were told it is 10 minutes away (They asked if we've even placed an order!) So even when the guy turned up, he gave us the wrong food so we had to go back out and tell him. Ofcourse as the food was out for delivery for an hour, it turned out to be warm (almost cold). Although we got a refund of £10, I think we should get the whole order refunded. I'd prefer if someone contacted me back about this.

Delivery was over 30mins later than the states delivery time. I contacted the restaurant asking how much longer for my delivery and was told driver was just leaving still took 25mins and considering the restaurant is just a 5min drive from my home. Wouldn't order for delivery better off collecting, or eating is as I normally do.

The chilli chicken is beautiful and the mixed grill excellent. A must try restaurant as they put the customer first.

Visited with colleges from work mixed grill was excellent stater between us the curries all round withe butter nan breads as recommended all round brilliant night and top quality food. Wish we had a place like this by me!!!

The Wolf Restaurant had told Just Eat that they could not deliver this day,so the meal had to be picked up, then when the meal arrived i was charged for Poppadoms which where not in the Food Bag, therefore food was late & not all their becuase of Just Eat

The food was good, the only issue was that they served the soup is square plastic containers rather than bowl shaped ones. This led to the soup leaking in the bag. Other than that it was good.

Since the new management this has become a great venue for a drink, meal or both and offers great vlaue for money. I have also done takeaways and quality remians in tact.
