Wok Around the World - Ramada Encore London West in Ealing

Ho pernottato una settimana in questo hotel e devo dire di essermi trovato piuttosto male. Personale sempre (SEMPRE) scontroso, cibo di qualità quasi scadente (eccezion fatta per la colazione) e last but not least il puzzo di fumo che sentivo ogni volta nella camera dove stavo (io non fumo..).

Grazioso hotel dove pernottare per una notte o poco più , ottimo servizio e soprattutto buona vicinanza al London exibition center , consigliato !!

Gostei muito deste hotel. Fomos bem recebidos. Quarto limpo e confortável. Café da manhã muito bom. Fácil para se deslocar para o centro de Londres através de metrô. Voltaria com certeza.

The food off the menu is lovely especially the steak but the breakfast is a let down especially of you pay extra for it as it's rather pricy.

Lo pasamos de maravilla para conseguir los fideos de arroz singapurenses desde el restaurante Wok abajo. Cocinaban rápido - sólo lleva 10 minutos o así. 3 Libras Para evitar el servicio de habitación, solo el pedido, bajar, y recoger.NOTA: no tienen salsa caliente por alguna razón (o en la mayoría de los lugares de Londres). Una porción tamaño decente y merece la pena probar.

I can only say that the food was great. Waiting staff should have more training on customer service.

Ho cenato con piacere presso questo ristorante dell'hotel. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo, molto sopra la media di tanti ristoranti che si trovano in giro. Consiglio a chi dopo una giornata in giro non ha intenzione di impazzire per trovare un posto dove mangiare....

La comida era excelente. Una gran selección de entrantes y platos principales a precios razonables. recomendaría la sopa y bistec tomate y cilantro con salsa de hongos como plato principal. El bistec era exactamente como lo pedí y me no tienen que enviar a ser cocinados nuevamente como tengo que hacer en otros restaurantes. todo el personal era muy amable, que también hizo que nuestra visita al restaurante relajante.

I really enjoyed my meal, I was eating alone but didn't feel at all intimidated. The staff were lovely.

Mi familia y yo nos alojamos en el Ramada Encore London West durante cuatro días. Aparte del desayuno cada mañana, teníamos cena dos veces en el restaurante del hotel - Wok Alrededor del mundo. Tengo que decir que la comida era muy buena a un precio razonable. Los camareros eran muy atentos y ofrecieron un gran servicio para hacernos sentir como en casa. quiero exhortar a los visitantes que deseen alojarse en el Ramada Encore London West, no te pierdas el Wok Alrededor del mundo para una cena!

Stayed at Hotel for a week with work. Prompt service,good selection and polite staff. Can't say more..

The service was really good. The food was lovely, good quality, the prices were very good value. The staff are extremely polite and very very helpful, all our requests were dealt with most efficiently and with a smile! Most unusual these days. Well trained.

Stayed for business. Nowhere really around to eat at location but this restaurant is good for an evening meal. Used it several times and enjoyed all meals. Nice not to be ripped off by hotel/London prices.

Lovely choice of Asian food plus that old favourite 'fish and chips' if you prefer. Yummy noodles! Service is good and you can ask the staff for extra items without bother. Restaurant is modern and airy. We stay at the hotel often and usually eat here.

The Cantonese noodles were a little salty, but the variety of the menu is incredible. I got fish and chips but was tempted by the selection of Asian food from literally all over the world. Staff is super friendly too!

I can't review the hotel again as it's not 3 months since our last visit...in fact it's only 2 weeks...but as usual the hotel was very good with great service and lovely staff.This time we ate at the restaurant twice...we were the only diners on one of the nights, however the food was great, the service brilliant and the ambiance very nice and relaxing. The chefs were not busy however this did not diminish the attention payed to the cooking/presentation.We had burgers one night and they are fab!! you build-your-own with all the trimmings you might need on the platter..really enjoyed that.We had breakfast on one of the days (a 3 night stay), a Sunday. Times are geared towards a lazy day, news-papers are always available, the food was better than I expected and so much variety. and again great service/staff even though it's self-service...nice to see a pleasant, friendly smiling face.On our previous visit we had room service where you order and collect ourself and it's like having a take-away...this was a thai green curry and was fine!The prices aren't cheap...but I think perfectly acceptable for a London hotel of this standard...with such brilliant links to central London.My only niggle over all is that the bathrooms get really steamt (mentioned in my previous review of the hotel) but maybe there isn't much they can do about this...

We ordered the Thai Green curry, my husband had a chicken curry, and I had the vegetarian option - very very yummy food.

A nice concept for a hotel restaurant with great opening hours. Good service, friendly staff and varied menu. 5/5 :)

Maybe we had a bad experience that was the exception but we never gave it a second try. The food was not very good, the portions were small and the restaurant smelled badly of the kitchen smells. May their ventilation was broken or something. Service was slow in terms of getting the bill or asking for other things but food wasn't late. As Westfield shopping centre is close by, I would suggest driving or getting a cab and having dinner there.

Food arrived quickly and tasted great. I had the Thai Green Chiken Curry, which had chicken breast in green curry, with ginger and coriander. It was served with steamed white rice. Bright and airy looking restaurant. I love the hotel colours.

I eat here probably about 6 or 7 times a year wen I'm staying at the Encore.Food is colourful, flavoursome and of good quality, although service can be a little slow.Sweet and sour pork has flattened pork medallions in an egg-flour batter, with a grilled wedge of pineapple on a bed of fluffy rice. The sweet and sour sauce is not too sickly.Price wise, expect to pay between £11 and £15 for a main course, so could be better value, however if you are staying at the Encore, your immediate vicinity options are pretty limited.

Definitely one of the better value for money Pan Asian restaurants in England. The only thing is that it is a bit out of the way. We happened to have stayed at the hotel where the restaurant is and ate all our meals there as the food was so good.

We didn't have particularly high expectations of this restaurant, considering its setting, but we were very pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. We found the menu varied and interesting, offering a wide range of Eastern influenced dishes to suit all tastes.Our starters arrived quickly, which was perfect for the setting, and the quality was very high indeed. Our mains followed suit, leaving us really pleased with the whole experience. The portion sizes are very generous indeed, without being overwhelming; perfect after a long journey.One word of warning is that the atmosphere is what you would expect for a restaurant tacked onto the side of a busy, medium priced hotel, so don't go here for a romantic meal for two!All told, I would highly recommend this restaurant, particularly if you are looking for a hearty meal before a night out in town or a night in at the hotel.

Given that this is the only restaurant to eat at near the hotel, you'll soon get bored of the eastern dishes. They're not bad, but you'd be better off getting the tube to Notting Hill Gate and eating around there.

As I stated in my review of the Ramada Encore, it was fantastic lunch, and top service. Although for an evening meal I had served to my room, it was just ok, filled a hole and was tasty, it just had something missing that I couldn't put my finger on. But it is worth a try....

The food was fine but nothing special. The service was fantastic and I'd eat there again if staying at the hotel.

Had only one meal but it was great. Korean beef dish.

Food is generally poor, some dishes taste pre frozen and are inedible. I stayed at the hotel for 5 weeks and triedmost of the menu, and they do change some dishes each month, but stick to what you like otherwise you'll be dissappointed. I found the soup to be good on every occasion, along with the steaks and noodle dishes. Bar menu is generally better, sad but true.
